Recent Review: It went great. Our neighbor recommended them and we were very happy with them. They have been around for years and are very reputable. ONe of the few vinyl liner pool builders in the area. We specifically wanted vinyl and were/are happy with them.
Recent Review: We hired Borden Vinyl Pools to replace the liner in our very unusually designed 33,000 gal. pool. Surprisingly, Bruce Borden completed the entire replacement alone! Everything was done properly and efficiently. He also recommended someone to handle the refinishing of the deck. So pleased with the results of both!
Recent Review: They are fantastic. We went through three other companies that couldn’t handle it. They also do the regular pool care and the care our jacuzzi. It is nice to know they can handle any problems even when you are out of town.
Recent Review: The guys at Blue Science were great. Josh, Brandon and Lena were awesome. They listened to what we wanted and drew it up. They worked with us to make our vision a reality. They took special care to repaint, replumb and get our fountain going again. The pool looks amazing and so does our fire pit area. The lines of communication were always open and any issues were addressed quickly. There was a paver problem, but they were quick to resolve the issue and exceed our expectations.

Recent Review: Having previously built a pool at my home in 2005, I was prepared for another few months of frustration and disappointment during the pool building process. I was determined not have the same experience again this time. For several months, I did a ton of research and receive referrals from friends to find the "very best" pool builder. We were looking for a company that could build a quality pool, provide excellent service during construction and after completion. We wanted to be sure to find a pool builder who would work with us and listen to our ideas and concerns. We talked to several pool builders, before selecting Gold Medal Pools for the following reasons: 1) John Kirby, our salesman. He will work with you from your first initial contact to final completion of your pool. He listens to what you want and then custom designs the pool to fit your needs. This is a great advantage as it eliminates any confusion that may occur from salesperson to pool construction manager. John is dependable, conscientious, patient and trustworthy. 2) Gold Medal Pools uses quality products and uses very few subcontractors. Gold Medal Pools leans heavily on work done by its own employees, not subcontractors. The company is up to date on the latest technology in the pool industry and competitively priced. 3) Our pool construction builder/manager, Keith Robinson. He is there each step of the way to make sure that you are happy with your pool. He makes you feel comfortable when asking questions. Keith takes great pride in his work. He is very detailed oriented and was respectful of our property. He responds in a timely fashion to your phone calls. We are extremely proud of our new pool and spa. We happily recommend Gold Medal Pools without any hesitations!
Recent Review: DFW Ponds proved the best Fish Pond service experienced. It's obvious the owner demands excellence from each service staff technician. As I do from time to time, go out to inspect their progress and quality of work. I was more than pleased to see the professional pride in the work crew of DFW Ponds.
We did not have any water garden installed - this review is for the quality of the folks who run the store and provide excellent information for those of us who love keeping koi in the Dallas area.

The equipment brought to site was high quality and provided a quick professional Pond clean-out The two man crew were pleasant and highly efficient . They walked me through the entire clean-out process Crew provided assistance with selection of those fish I wished to retain. The undesired fish were retained to their site. Backyard area, when complete, including pond and waterfall, was spotless when the crew cleared the work area I am a seasoned Pond owner who has been cleaning my fish pond on an annual basis, for the past 10 years.. I lack the equipment and the knowledge to provide the high quality of service as experienced with Sublime Water Gardens. The clean-out job, normally would takes me the majority of one day ,was complete in less than 2 hours . Sublime Water Gardens provided me full precost of labor, chemicals and estimated time, in a quick professional e-mail The professionalism of their crew and quality of work assures that I will be using them in the future for this critical task

Sublime Water Gardens always does an excellent job. They originally installed my backyard koi pond (approximately 8' x 11') almost 3 years ago. They came and performed the yearly cleanout of the pond (as well as replaced the skimmer net and brushes). The pond looks great! I highly recommend Sublime Water Gardens!

The crew showed up on time. They have drained the water and cleaned the pond. Upon my inspection the water was as dirty as prior to cleaning. The company rep told me over the phone the algae growth should subside after adding chemicals they provided me. I have been adding it to my pond but it was becoming more and more dirty. At some point the pond was so overgrown with algae I couldn't see any fish. Finally almost all my fish died. Subsequently I have hired another company to clean up the pond, treat the water and introduce new fish. They have informed me that my system is equipped with UV light that burned and that is why I had so much algae growth. Sublime Water Garden never bother to check the system. I seriously doubt they even cleaned the filters. They also left all wiring out. They were almost double in cost to the company I hired to clean up their mess.

We have a large koi pond with a waterfall. It has been losing water for a few months. We had another company come out to clean it and they thought they found the source of the leak in the process, but they didn't. Sublime Water Gardens found the problem quickly. There were many roots growing into one part of the pond, pushing the liner away and causing water to leak out. Cleaning out the roots took about 3 hours. The leak detection cost per hour was pretty steep, but it was in line with what other companies charge for the same service, so I suppose that's just the norm for the industry. The other company who cleaned our pond didn't reshape the rocks around the edge that had fallen down, which was kind of a disappointment. The man from Sublime Water Gardens told us that they do reshape the edge by placing the rocks back where they belong as part of a pond clean out. Next Spring, when it's time to clean the pond, I'll definitely call them to do it, rather than the other company who cleaned it last time. They were pretty punctual. The receptionist told us they would be there around 8:00, and they were there around 8:40, which isn't too bad for contractors. They were very professional.

Sublime Water Gardens installed our pond over 8 years ago and have serviced it ever since. We had hadn't had them come for several years to perform maintenance and clean it out. It was in bad shape! After a some scheduling shuffles for this and that, they came out and performed the estimated work and were true to their time and the cost. The workers were helpful in how to use the new bacteria and additives and they have worked wonders on keeping the pond sparkling clear. I checked the prices on line for the products and they were the same as what they sold them to me for. The service guys helped me do a couple of extra things to get the pond really clean (pulled out some plants,, removed sludge, etc.) and all the fish did just fine. They also gave me tips to keep the pond clean and plants in check. Great job, SWG!

They quoted us one amount over the phone. They came out, did the work and sent us a bill for double the amount they quoted. We paid the original quote amount and they never contacted us again. They did a good job. We thought it was odd for them to give the quote over the phone and instead of a quote on paper.

Communications issues aside, when phone calls were not returned timely, eventually when it came to work, they did an excellent job. Previous guy just totally screwed it up when I decided to use Backyard concepts. They did the job very quickly and did it really well.

ASEAHORSE POOLS & SPAS
I called probably six different companies for the work and they either gave me a price that was just ridiculous or they told me that it was too small a job and they were not interested. When Seahorse Pools came out he listened to everything that I wanted. He told me that it was a small job, but that they would be willing to do it. I was thrilled, because I could tell when he explained what he was going to do that he knew exactly what would be correct. They do not usually do this type of work. The only difficult part was waiting for the work to be done, because it was such a small job they had to do it in between their big jobs although I understood that. I was so impressed with them. Ken Corallo was the only vendor that accepted the challenge: he faithfully followed the instructions of our concrete pond designer in California by phone; and was able to do the work without disturbing the mature plants and rocks around the pond. This was not his usual swimming pool, but a koi pond. With an unusually wet summer, his crews would often have to reschedule after an overnight rainstorm filled the pond. Sometimes his crew got the wrong size re-bar, so they came back with the correct size to do it right. His plaster coat crew was nothing short of excellent; it was a joy to watch them work and the result was a work of art. The coat had to be super smooth for the fish. By September 2011, it will have been two years since the pond was completed. We've had no leaks and no worries. Before that, it had been leaking for three years. Our pond was featured in Koi USA September 2010, with photos showing its full glory. Ken has been patient and nothing short of professional. We never hesitate to recommend Seahorse Pools to our friends.
