Recent Review: Outdoor switch box was so badly corroded couldn’t be used. He replaced the defective switch and installed a new weatherproof switch box. It cost more than I expected but it would have taken me several trips to Home Depot and a lot of aggravation if I had done the job myself.

Recent Review: Everything went great. I scheduled it for Wednesday morning, 8:30 to 9, and they showed up right at 8:30. I showed the technician what I needed done, and he got right to work. He had my switch box fixed and working within an hour, then checked all the other outside electrical connections to ensure they were working properly. He had to replace some parts for my switch box, which was an additional charge of $27, but that was reasonable. He was completed about 10 AM, cleaned up his work, gave me the old parts, and was gone.

ACrippen Electric
Mr. Crippen was thorough and professional.  He quickly concluded that the outlet problem was due to a GFI wired in series that had tripped nowhere near the non-working outlets.  He replaced one GFI unit in the garage and one by the swimming pool.  Replacement of the pool light switch box required as much "handyman" skill as it did electrician skill which Mr. Crippen did well.  Recommended.

His work includes installing ceiling fans and a garage door, elevating my porch, added light switches, replacing switches, and removing my gutters, among with other things. His work is always professional and I'd recommend him to everyone!

We are very satisfied with the work done.  The electrician was able to come that very day and was punctual.  He was knowledgeable and seemed to know what he was doing.  He fixed everything in a timely manner and cleaned up his mess before leaving.  We will definitely call this company again.

Technician was very thorough: explained possibilities and future options -- because the problem really corrected itself before the visit.  I really don't remember the cost; however, I'd say it was fair--and I was given a discount because of Angie's list. So, the actual amount was less than the approx. cost shown above.

BCrippen Electric
I was disappointed because what the guy did and what I thought he would do didn't match. Because my house was 55 years old at the time I thought this offer would provide total house electrical inspection as the coupon stated. I expected the guy to use a device that I've seen other electricians use to check for hot spots in the wall near electrical outlets that would indicate possible frayed wiring to that outlet.  I also expected that the guy would go into the attic to check for any electrical work that was there and to make sure that there weren't any frayed wires. I expected him to inspect each electrical outlet for frayed wiring. The inspection was done by someone other than the business owner as I remember him saying that he was helping his friend out by inspecting my electrical systems.
