Recent Review: The first group that came out did a lousy job and they were inexperienced. I had to call them for a second time. The 2nd crew that came out was very nice and they did a top-notch job. The quality of the door is great.

Recent Review: I contacted pet independence to inquire about a dog door installed through a brick wall. They installed the dog door and created a covered deck and ramp. They were super easy to work with and did a great job. We now have the cutest dog door and ramp ever!
Recent Review: Garage door was 17 yrs. old. The original comes with plastic rollers and eventually wears out. The main overhead spring which holds up and moves the door was worn out, too. The tech replaced all the plastic rollers with metal ball-bearing rollers and the main spring and inspected and adjusted the door to close properly. He gave me the Angie's list discount and I was very happy with the whole process. I admit the cost was a little more than I expected---but still less than replacing the entire garage door!
Recent Review: We bought a house which had a flimsy exterior door. The Front Door Company custom built, painted and installed a new exterior solid wood door for us. A peep hole was installed and they matched the exterior paint of the house. They also suggested new hardware which looked absolutely wonderful. It took a couple of months from the order to installation, but it was well worth the results. We were never made to feel that our project was not "large enough" for The Front Door Company, and we would absolutely use them again
Recent Review: Garage door had a crack where the coupling for the garage door opener was. Keith said that eventually the opener would rip the top of the door off. That seemed logical to me. Keith installed a new door and adjusted the garage door opener. Everything works fine now.
Recent Review: Austin Doors and Trim is excellent. They came out measured, gave us a great quote and assisted in procuring the doors we needed. Once the doors arrived and were delivered to my home, Austin Doors and Trim promptly installed the doors. The quality of the craftsmanship is unsurpassed and the attention to detail was really impressive. I am having Austin Doors and Trim install some interior doors in the near future. What sets Austin Doors and Trim apart from other contractors is when they say they are going to do something they do it. That is huge.

DHandyman Connection of Austin-Westlake
I was disappointed that he didn't offer to lower the price himself from $250.00 that was his original price since I had already purchased the materals that were needed. He didn't have to go and get them (which would have added more time onto his hourly rate). When I brought that to his attention he lowered the price to $140.00 and I signed the agreement. He fixed the bathroom faucet by unscrewing the end of the faucet and replacing the washer. Had a little trouble getting that old peephole out of the front door, put got the new one in OK. He Got the numbers nailed onto the house. Got the lightbulb into the security light. The biggest job was to get that outside water facet replaced because it was leaking. I ended up having to call a plumber out because this guy couldn't get the old faucet off. So in the end I was not satisfied with what I paid compared to the work that was done. It took less than 2 hours. I think I paid too much!

AHandyman Connection of Austin-Westlake
I have used Handyman before- and asked for Kevin- who is extremely professional, and honest. On a prior job, Kevin repaired a door that had been damaged by another Company. (They did not know how to install a simple peep hole in my front door.) The damage was so bad, that Kevin had to come up with a custom designed plan to repair the damage. He designed a glass opening that was much better than I could have imagined. He even went with me to buy the correct type of glass. I would call them again, and highly recommend Handyman Connection.

AQuality Handyman Services
Steve and his assistant Chase showed up on time and I could tell immediately that they were really good guys who know what they are doing. I had a front door that needed a new handle and lockset installed, and I wanted to add a knocker and a peephole. They got that out of the way quickly and well. Then it was on to installing trellises on the front center of our two story house: five 2' x 8' in total. All had to go on level, and since they just barely fit into the wall space we have - it took people with their skills and patience to make it work. The whole time they were good natured and steadily busy. And, they cleaned up after themselves as they went, filled any holes in our exterior wall that needed it when they adjusted the positions of the trellises to make them work, and then touched that up with our leftover exterior paint so the job was truly done. Nice work, nice guys, and I already have ideas about more things around our house I would like them to do.

I thought I would need a new door from my enclosed porch into the garage. My dog had shredded the veneer on the door. Louis suggested a new face on the door which would save me a lot of money. It turned out beyond my expectations - he repeated the design on my front door and it is beautiful! I can't wait to get it painted. Louis is very professional and does quality work. I highly recommend him.

What a great experience. Our front door is 10 years old and in sad need of refinishing. James took the door off, sanded, stained and refinished it in under 8 hours. He was prompt, professional, extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and did a superb job on the front door. It looks like new!

They came and picked up the doors to paint and stain them at their facility. They were very careful to handle the doors gently when carrying them out of the house. I supplied the paint and stain colors and 21st Century supplied the material. The doors remained at their facility for several days to allow the paint to cure. When they were ready to be moved, two crew members brought the doors back to the house, attached all the hardware, hung them and painted the frames. The two guys worked quietly, diligently, professionally and remained until the job was complete. Hanging a door properly is not an easy job. All of the doors are balanced so that they will stay in the position they are left, not swinging closed or open on their own as the old doors did. This impressed me. All the painted doors look amazing. The stained doors are a little rough to the touch, but not so much that I would request a redo. Overall, I am very pleased with the workmanship.

Louis has been great. His work is top notch. On top of that, he is easy to work with and you can’t beat the price. He has done extensive door work for me including fixing a screen door that wouldn’t close probably and changing the direction a 1940s interior door swings. The doors look great and Louis was able to still use the original hardware and hinges. He has also mounted a tv, repaired dry wall, and upgraded lights to ceiling fans . He has already completed two days of projects and I will be using him for future projects.
