Recent Review: Their warehouse was a couple of doors down from my job and I knew we needed to get new doors. The door costed $229, the brass handle set was $47.95 and tax was $22.85. Luis Ramos of Ramos Carpentry did the install for $200 so the total was $499.80. I could not buy the same door at Home Depot for that price and install would have put my grand total closer to $900 so I was feeling like I got a good deal. Install took 1.5 hours but they knew what they were doing. Had to pay installers cash but I didn't mind for the price. 2 years later no problems with the door and about to get my back door with blinds installed by them for the close to the same price.
Recent Review: Jullian replaced a Door Sweep. The work was performed professionally and efficiently. He was customer focused explaining the process required to install the new Door Sweep. Responsiveness was excellent, since he was in Richmond he came over within 30 minutes. The cost was very fair which included part and installation. I definitely will contact Sturdy Doors for future work.

Raul did a wonderful job, custom made craftsman style casing, caulked, installed locks, cleaned up. He even picked up the door at Lowes. I felt he was conscientious, fair, honest and timely.

Ivan and his crew are amazing. I can't say enough good things about him and his guys. They do great work, very friendly, clean, trustworthy and talented. They pay special attention to detail. We definitely have plans for them to come back and do our next projects. We have used their services twice and would not hesitate to have them back for more work. They are now our go to for any remodeling projects.

After Diamondback completed our shower and vanity a couple of months ago, we decided to have our master bedroom closets updated to replace some horrible bypass doors and add a door from the bedroom to the bathroom. The carpentry, sheetrock, paint and finish trim were all done wonderfully. Vernon is always on top of what is going on and keeps you updated every step of the way. We already have another project in mind and will continue to use Diamondback for any remodeling we have done.

Our house had a couple of pocket doors that were not working well. We replaced the track on another one a couple of years ago at $600, but we've been putting off replacing these two. We got a coupon for $50 off Mr. Handyman, so we figured we'd let him have a look and see what it might cost to fix them before they actually fell down. One door was hard to close, stiff and jerky in the track. The technician cleaned, straightened, and lubricated the track until it works so well we had to relearn how to use the door without slamming it. Wow! The other door would stick closed, as if locked, until you hit it very hard. After working with it for 5 minutes, the technician showed me that the door is too small for the door frame opening, so when it closes, it is so far out of the pocket that the guide doesn't work. His solution was to nudge the door back up against the guide before pulling it back. He said if we wanted a better fix, he could add molding to the door frame so the opening was narrower. We almost never use the door, so we went with the FREE fix.

They would never call me back and then I called and called and then when he came out he really had no idea of what I was asking for and was very abrupt about telling me that my job was to complicated and lost touch with me.

FRapid Home Repair
NEVER USE THIS CONTRACTOR! The contractor performed roughly 60% of the job but never finished the remaining 40% and never bothered to return my call. The job started slowly. They never worked more than 6 hours and most days it was closer to 4 hours. Moreover, they were regularly late and simply did not show up frequently. I had to continue to ask them repeatedly to correct jobs that they did not finish correctly or just did poorly. They began by painting several rooms which took several days and far more paint than they had originally estimated. (I had to pick up the additional costs for errors on their part.) They installed two way light switches in six rooms and five of them have holes next to the switches that need to be repaired. The floors that they installed make noises as they do not appear to be fitted together well, nor are the quarter rail trimmings attached completely. I also paid for every door in my home to be replaced, painted and installed. Although I paid for them, several doors were never purchased and certainly never installed in my home. I can add more detail to the complaint, but in short this contractor should never be used. They are unreliable and will take your money. Moreover, he kept several pieces of hardware that I cannot replace including parts of shutters and a ceiling fan. I submitted a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Never use this contractor.
