If you are building a pool anywhere remotely close to Austin, Texas, you should be using Brent (Quality Custom Pools), period. I am a very very tough customer, I've done a ton of home improvement, construction, remodel projects and I am very meticulous about what I want and how it should look in the end. Putting in a whole backyard and pool is very large project that changes the dynamics of the house, so you have to get the details right. Brent was absolutely BRILLIANT at helping us navigate and create a solution that fit our wants, needs and overall that fit into our budget. We worked with several pool builders and Brent was the ONLY one that we felt was truly invested in really helping us and being "present" throughout our build. We worked through the designs, he graciously changed things around on my whims without any pushback (several times). Once the contract was signed, we had a backhoe onsite literally 14 hours later. Here's the MOST important thing you need to know and take to heart: BRENT IS PHYSICALLY ONSITE EVERY DAY, managing the project, inspecting the work being done, keeping timelines on track and talking to us each and every day. Nobody else will do that, period. They will get your contract and then subs are gonna run the show from there. When you get the owner to be invested in your project, each and every day, you will get a quality product, period. Brent is a man of his word and is truly in the business of making the customer happy. He did not nickel and dime us for ANYTHING. The price we agreed to (which was uber competitive and below market to say the least) is what we paid. We did a few tiny upgrades along the way as we started seeing things come together, but basically we stayed right on budget, which is very uncommon for a build like this. We couldn't be happier with the pool, the overall project and the job that Brent did. I never write reviews like this, but I felt compelled to write this review as Brent continued to over deliver throughout the project and I wanted to make sure his efforts and great business practices were shared out to the AngiesList community.
