Fantastic job. Seamus Donohue, the owner, came to view our room, gave us a price, and thoroughly explained the system. Installation took one day. Now we feel protected every time there's lightning -- which is often in North Texas. Seamus will come periodically to check the system over a period of time. Strong recommendation about the fine service and result. Everyone in the area should get this protection for their home and family.

ASuperior Lightning Protection
I can finally rest during a Storm. For more than 3 years I was declined by different companies to install Lightning Protection due to the fact my roof is made out of ceramic tile. Lawrence and his son Patrick accepted the challenge and did an outstanding job! They are honest, hard working, problem solvers and would hire them again. I highly recommend them.

Ben came out the next day after we called and spoke with Candace. Our neighbor's house caught fire in the storm and our electricity was doing something strange, breakers wouldn't stop popping and lights were dimming. Oncor came out and left, stating the voltage tested fine going into the house. Ben was able to quickly troubleshoot the issue and determined the voltage coming from the transformer was the issue, the problem actually was with Oncor! Ben saved me from having to buy new breakers, which was going to be the next step in trying to figure out the mystery. This was the second time we used Copper Creek Electric and now we'll only use Copper Creek Electric. I highly and happily recommend Copper Creek Electric: very fair, honest, and friendly.

Our home was hit directly by a lightning bolt on a Saturday evening. I decided to have a kitchen GFI inspected after noticing smoke coming from it. Also, the pool lights were not coming on. I called at 8 am and by 10:30 he was at my home. Both GFI outlets had the wiring melted from the lightning. The work was completed in 45 minutes. Everything was left clean, and the technician was very courteous.

Recent Review: Heard about Lifeshield from a web forum, emailed the sales rep as a referral and the referrer was able to get $150 while I got a free network camera. The network camera's quality is average at best ... they've since changed the referral program so the new subscriber now gets $100 store credit. Anywho, after emailing the rep with questions and requirements, getting on the phone to do the credit check, I got a kit to try out delivered to me. I installed the base unit and connected the telephone line and ethernet cable (to internet), associated the GSM unit for the backup cell service, and installed the door/window sensors and motion sensors. After about a week, I noticed the GSM unit kept losing signal, I emailed tech support and told them about the issue, did some troubleshooting with them which didn't fix the issue, and a replacement GSM unit was send to me. While that was happening, I noticed the broadband wasn't working ... turns out they had different starter kits: "Home Essentials Kit - Cell Ready" and a "Home Essentials Kit with Broadband" ... I was sent the wrong one. They replaced that and everything has been fine since. A couple of notes: - I believe the sensor batteries are covered by Lifeshield for the length of the lease. I had one die at the start of my contracted period, and they just sent a new battery after I emailed support. The console will tell you which sensor has a dying battery. - I was without electricity for 5.5 days after Sandy hit. The base and GSM units have backup batteries in them, so my system was still connected for 4 days. I was on the phone with my friends checking my house 4 days after Sandy hit and I didn't know if the alarm was still working since I couldn't connect to it via the webpage nor app ... it was, about 30 seconds after they opened the basement door, the monitoring service called about the alarm! So the base was able to keep functioning with the GSM unit!
Recent Review: They did really good work. When they replaced the box they did cut drywall so now I am having to do the texture and paint. I was pleased with the price and service. They were professional and everything went really great. I just was not clear prior to the work that I would need to finish the texture of the added drywall. We are now all up to code and everything was very economical. I would recommend them.
Recent Review: Very uneventful (that's a good thing). The technician arrived as scheduled. I showed him the main breaker box and he proceeded to take off the front panel cover. He then pulled one breaker, installed the small surge protector beside the breaker box and tied the protector into the breaker panel, replaced the cover, and left. The technician wasn't very informative. I asked several questions about how the surge protector worked, the ratings on the protector, when/if it will need to be replaced, and how to identify a problem with the surge protector.. He didn't seem to know. No information was provided on the warranty. The "Big Deal" stated the unit was covered by a warranty as well as some (apparently not all) appliances or devices inside the home. The paperwork wasn't any help either. I never received a signed work order. I have nothing showing the date of installation, part number or serial number of the installed component, the installer's name, or cost.
