I have used them for probably 10 years and would not use any other contractor. They have done remodeling in general. Hallway, master bedroom, master bath. Not a total redo, cosmetic remodeling.

Everyone from Riddell was professional and worked well with the other trades on our project. They took my design and made it a reality. We will only use Riddell now for any service issues and future projects. Thank you for a very nice product!

Master bedroom shower was in need to be replaced. Jason bid the job. He was great, and got some other cost perspectives on remodeling ideas from him too. I had four other contractors come out and bid the job and Jason's was near the low range on the cost. We had to pick out tile and my wife is indecisive. Luckily for us they had a design room where the design lady was nice enough to meet with us on a saturday to pick out the tile. Invaluable resource. Really helped us create the design. Matt oversaw the project. He was excellent in quickly addressing any concerns (general issues that pop up with construction projects).  We wanted a frameless door initially. Good thing for us their contractor, Scott I believe his name was, from Jpon glass, told us about leak issues with frameless doors in a shower of our size, and told us about other options. We went to Jpon glass shop and got a look at semi-frameless doors which we ended up going with, which dropped the price of our project. I mention this to illustrate the quality contractors that DFW Improved work with. The door had to be remade because of some miscommunication between us and Jpon about the need for brushed nickel hardware, which Matt was on top of and took care of. Once the job was finished Matt came out and checked it out and made sure there were no concerns. The shower is now the nicest thing in the house. I am sure I will be calling upon them in the near future for other projects. >>>>>>UPDATE>>>>>>>>> I got a call from some company who they gave my number out too. Some services review place that went on a telemarketing schpeel. I do not like people giving out my number to a third party and I question the legality of it, honestly.  I felt like I did enough giving a good review on Angies List. So, here are a couple things that I did not have in my original review because I was overall pleased with the end result. 1). They contracted a contractor to contract a contractor to do the tile work. One of these gentlemen spoke no English, the other spoke very little. One was very sick, sneezing and coughing for the week they were here. Left the toilet seat up. Even left a brown trail on the toilet seat. When they did the demolition of the old shower, they threw all the broken tile and all on my front lawn. Not even in contractor bags. This was after asking Jason if they needed to use my bulk trash pick up time to take care of the trash. I told Matt and he had them pick it up, but there was still crap in my yard. I showed Matt again and he and I picked up all the rest. I leave my other review because I stick by it.  Also, the sick immigrant filled their water bottle from the tap on my Ozarka dispenser. I am thankful we don't have hepatitis. This is all true. Don't give my number out to third parties.

After obtaining quotes from multiple contractors, I decided to hire Campbell Remolding. Their prices were reasonable and Craig sounded like a reasonable and practical guy. However, my opinion changed about them at the end of the project. Campbell Remodeling did the bulk of the work which included but not limited to tiling, painting, flooring, light fixtures and cabinet improvements. They estimated approximately 4-5 weeks for completion of work. Sadly, it took then 9 weeks to get the job done and there were multiple days where none of them showed up. Some of that was attributed to poor communication and scheduling. I want to highlight one of the incidents that shows they lack of experience i handling simple tasks. As part of this project, they were supposed to install bamboo hardwood floors in the master bedroom that matched the flooring in our living room (Bamboo Toast). After providing them a sample and the make of the hardwood floor, they purchased hardwood flooring that was a similar make but a different color (it was pretty evident) and started installing it. Luckily we saw this huge mismatch and asked to stop immediately. They tried to convince us that it was the lighting and not the color of the flooring. However, after getting an neutral opinion from home depot, Craig was convinced that they purchased the wrong product. Despite this, he argued that he purchased Bamboo Toast and it was not his fault if the color was different. He insisted that I pay for removing the and reinstalling the wrong color flooring and also pay for the new flooring material. Long story short, I didn't have to pay for the additional service. During the entire process I could see his attitude transform from friendly to being unprofessional and rude.  Some of the other thing I want to point out is the fact that they are bad about keeping the work area clean. There was dust and debris in other parts of the house due to lack of insulation. They scuffed up the living room flooring from walking in and out of the house with dirty work shoes. we had to hire a professional company for cleaning the hardwood floors after the project was completed. My overall assessment is that they lack experience working on big jobs and their quality of work is not consistent with a professional contractor. i want to point out that the subcontractors he used for installing granite and glass shower were very good. It is disappointing that they could not live up to the quality and professionalism of his subcontractors.

We wanted to remodel our very 90's master bathroom.  We sought quotes Elite remodeling and our designer Doris Younger who brought us to Brantely Booe of Booe Construction, LLC.  Elite provided us a quote after one visit to our house and after about a week.  Booe Construction and Doris Younger came over, took measurements.  Brantley brought over his subcontractors to price out the job this went over a period of several weeks.  After we selected the materials that we wanted and settled on the design - Brantley Booe and Doris Younger came to our house and presented their prices and cost breakdowns.  The price given to us by Elite and Booe Construction and Doris Younger (combined) were close to the same, a little less from Booe and Younger team.   We signed a contract with Booe Construction, LLC to do the construction and provide the framing, closet. all the plumbing, electrician, paint, tile work - which included re-building our shower, frameless glass, separate bathtub.  The work started the following week, which was the first week of February.  We were able to save money by not moving the foot print of the bathroom or closet.  So our plumbing did not need to be moved.   Brantley oversaw each step of the subs and double checked on each of their recommendations.  We wanted a steam shower - so Brantley, Brantley's plumber worked with the supplier to ensure that the specs for the steam shower were done accurately.  Brantley showed up at every step of the remodel from the demolition to the final product.  He stepped in and did any jobs that came in between the subs.  After looking up in our attic he found that the original power vents, were not vented through the roof, but just up into the attic, so for very little extra we changed the venting location, put in a far superior exhaust fan and brought in a roofer to make sure the vent went though the roof.  The plumbers wanted to put the steamer close to the floor of the shower, Brantley called the manufacturer and found that the steamer needed to be at least 18 inches from the floor, so the floor does not get super heated.  He had the plumbers move the steamer.  Brantley researched the steam shower specs and found that the ceiling of the shower should be slanted, so that when the steam droplets form on the ceiling, they don't drip down on the user.  He also suggested that rather than a built in bench that we add a teak seat which folds down.  That was an awesome suggestion.   Whenever the design plan and the construction had problems, the designer and Brantley would come out and we would discuss with the sub on what needed to be changed, in order for it to look right.  Any project will require adjustments as you are going through them and I so  appreciated getting great advice and in the end, it actually turned out better than the plan. When Brantley could not be at the site, he was in contact via texts.  I knew that if I had a question or concern that I could call on him and he would follow up on every step of the job.  But Brantley was usually on the job and even worked with the subs. I have worked with general contractors previously, (we had our home custom built, we had a commercial building built for our business), and the only time we saw the GC was at the time we signed the contract and to pick up the checks.  We always felt that we had to oversee the subs to ensure that we were getting the job done that we wanted.   We had always been disappointed that the previous GC's had been hands off and did not listen to our concerns Brantley Booe went far beyond any GC that I have ever worked with and brought in the project on budget.  We did have a couple of add-ons but they were minimal and we understood that the work was extra (such as the exhaust fan), but the additional costs were minimal, I think it came in right around a $1,000 - which included replacing our attic vent, which had gone bad and we knew needed replacing.   We ordered the hardware on line and the cabinet people were already gone, so Brantley installed all of the hardware.  When the painters came in and painted over all of the hinges, my husband was dismayed and mentioned that to Brantley - Brantely called the cabinet maker, had them order up new hinges and had them come out and replace all of the hinges (which was significant - as we added a ton of new cabinets.  We have had only one problem and I contacted Brantley - he came out the next day and made the repair himself.   In the end we ended up with a gorgeous bathroom that has all of the bells and whistles that I wanted and with high end materials that we purchased through our designer Doris Younger.   If we want a GC that cares, will be there and will make recommendations as well as follow up on the subs to make sure they are doing the job right - then you will want Booe Construction. In the end, we ended up with a gorgeous new bathroom that will stand the test of time.  We enjoy it every single day - you would be lucky to have Brantley as your GC.

Just finished a 6 week remodel of master bedroom and both bathrooms. I could not be more pleased with the finished product or the work of Crossroads. They were highly professional. The workmen were excellent and cleaned up the work area each day.  They also provided additional design ideas and suggestions that made the finished product better than the original plan. I plan to hire them again to do my kitchen.

Everything was fantastic. Meagan was very responsive when we first inquired and was spot on with her estimates. Keith and Jose did a great job doing the work. They were friendly, did 5 star work and Keith even recommended some small changes that proved to be the absolute right choices. He was great about guiding us through the process. Jose worked on holiday to ensure everything was kept on schedule. Bree was great with keeping us informed as to when payments were due. I can’t wait to hire Home Front to do more work for us!

AHartley Remodeling
We have done numerous remodels, upgrades and building projects over the years and Hartley Remodeling is by far the best company we have ever used. Quentin's attention to detail, responsiveness, creative recommendations and ideas (as well as feedback on things we should reconsider and the reason why), constant updates, management and coordination of work crews and the quality of the people he used is the best we have ever experienced. Workers were trustworthy, provided quality results and also showed care and respect for our home when onsite. Even with our self-imposed "scope-creep" requests during the project, Quentin managed to accommodate and incorporate these into the project at the proper time. We are very pleased with our newly remodeled bathroom and project that was just completed last week and we will be using Hartley Remodeling on future projects and home-building in the future. Great job!

AKrause & Whitehouse
From beginning to end it was a wonderful experience. I plan on using them again, but like a lot of people right now finances just don't enable me to do it. I have two smaller bathrooms that I want to remodel and when I do, I more than likely will go with Krause & Whitehouse. They did excellent quality work. They're professional and easy to work with. The pricing on it was great, we actually had four different quotes done on the bathroom and they were about in the middle, but he picked up on things before I even said anything about them. I had a list in my head of what I wanted done, and he picked up them saying, "I think you need to do this," and I'm like, "Oh my gosh thats on my list!" We liked him so much that after about a week and a half we asked him how much he would charge us to paint and carpet our bedroom.

Recent Review: As survivors of an EF4 Tornado, we have had both good and bad experiences with remodeling and can tell you that New Bath did a great job from start to finish. This bathroom, in addition to being 32 years old, was one of the last rooms to be redone and suffered from years of hard use as we rebuilt the rest of our home. Mary was extremely helpful in assisting us with color selections and worked with us on pricing. Robert and Mike did a great job on the actual remodeling and kept very close to the original schedule, despite one setback that they turned into a real positive. One piece of the Onyx material came in cut to the wrong dimensions (not their fault) and had to be reordered. Reordering did extend the job by a few days, but they figured out a way to turn the wasted piece into a countertop that ended up adding greatly to the look of the room, turning the loss into an asset. Throughout, they were pleasant to have in our home and were always punctual and meticulous in their cleanup. Cruz and his Dad also did a great job of texturing and painting. We converted the room from wallpaper and have never seen a better application of texture…very even and uniform. We’re now moved back in and couldn’t be happier with our new bathroom. Thank you, New Bath!

Recent Review: When we purchased our 30 year-old home we loved it but knew it had to be updated, in particular the bathrooms and the kitchen area (which included the laundry and the formal dining room). The house was very compartmentalized. It had a small, hidden kitchen that was not connected to anything except for the breakfast nook. Next to the kitchen on one side there was a laundry room and on the other side there was a formal dinning room, but all of these rooms were separate. We wanted to open the whole area up as much as possible, but as we quickly realized, the project presented real structural challenges (three different ceilings and elevations, dividing walls, etc). We knew that in addition to the design aspect we had to deal with the structural aspect of the project. In order to help us with this process, we hired an structural architect who provided us with several floor plans. All of her proposals opened the kitchen somewhat but left the laundry in its original location, which meant that we could not use the entire space for the kitchen and dining room. All of her proposals had supporting beams that would interfere with the line of sight. I was not getting what I wanted and was becoming increasingly disappointed. During this process I was also talking to Mirna and Luis from Arbors and Patios, who had built a beautiful outdoor kitchen and patio for us in our previous house. When discussing the possibilities for the project Luis and Mirna began to propose great ideas that could help us deal with the issues in this complex project. I ultimately trusted them because they had done great work for us in the past and because their ideas were the best we heard so far. Luis and Mirna proposed that the laundry was relocated, and that the different ceilings were elevated and made into a single, unified ceiling. The kitchen now is open, airy and amazing. The entire space is full of light and modern! By removing the bay window and adding the panoramic window we now have fantastic views of the outdoors, we love it! I feel that hiring Arbors and Patios was the best thing we could have done for our house. For us just as important as the quality of their construction work were the ideas and insights they provided which to made our house the most beautiful and functional space possible.

Recent Review: Background: In 2012, Raindango remodeled a second bathroom. We were pleased with that, so in 2013, they remodeled our master bedroom and bathroom.  Then in 2014, they remodeled our game room, removing paneling, installing wood floors, and building custom bookshelves and cabinets along one wall.  I did not write reviews about these projects, but we were very pleased with all of them.  As a result we decided to have Raindango remodel our den in 2015. Our house was built in 1977, so we've gradually been getting rid of that 1970's look.  Our den had a sunken floor, wood paneling which we had previously painted white, and a wet bar that was rather non-functional.  Raindango completely gutted the den, which included tearing out the fireplace hearth and bricks, tearing out the wet bar, removing the "popcorn" from the ceiling, and removing tile flooring, not only in the den but in two hallways and the dining room.  They raised the sunken floor to the same level as the rest of the house.  They re-did the fireplace, putting up beautiful tile and installing and staining a new mantel.  They custom built a wet bar, which now has an ice maker and beverage cooler.  The wet bar and fireplace are beautiful and the focal point of the room.  They re-sheetrocked the room, and put down wood flooring in the den and two hallways and the dining room.  And they installed new baseboards, crown molding and new lighting.  And of course, they painted the walls and ceiling.  Throughout the project, they cleaned up every day.  Their workers are very professional and seem to take pride in their work.  All of their people are easy to work with, and we especially enjoyed working with Alan, who was in charge of this project, as well as the previous projects mentioned above. Alan often comes up with good suggestions. I would definitely recommend Raindango to others. I rated them a B on price, but for all I know, it could be an A.  I haven't had anyone else do projects like this, so don't have a basis for comparison.
