Recent Review: As noted, this was not an emergency in any way. The men worked hard in the hot weather because the gas line has to be 18" below ground. After inspection was passed, Jason filled the hole and time will take care of the grass growing over.

Recent Review: The two-man team from Alliance (both named Matt) did a great job for us. They successfully made use of an existing 4-inch PVC pipe in which to run the gas line, bypassing the need to dig a new trench and saving us at least $1500. The work was clean and neat, and sailed through the city inspection. Everyone at Alliance was a pleasure to work with, courteous and professional, and highly responsive to questions and scheduling requests. I've used them for several other jobs as part of a large project in our home in recent weeks, and received two personal followup calls from the company's owner to make sure we were satisfied with their service. Their prices may be slightly higher than some of their competition (the only area I did not give an A grade), but you get what you pay for, and to me it is entirely worth it. I anticipate calling them first for my future plumbing needs.
Recent Review: PULLED PAPERS FROM THE CITY TO INSPECT HIS WORK , REPAIRED/ REPLACED MISSING PART OF GAS LINE UNDER TRAILER FOR GAS STOVE. WORKED HARD AND QUICKLY VERY PROFESSIONAL ,WAS ON TIME . NOW JUST WAITING FOR INSPECTOR TO GREEN TAG HIS WORK!! HOPING FOR THE BEST
Recent Review: The plumber arrived on time (actually early, but they called first to be certain that would be okay with us). They did the work, were efficient, careful and left the work site cleaner than it was when they arrived. We will use their services again.

Recent Review: They did a great job. Very clean and neat, considering there were large bags of sand at one point on my kitchen floor. Work was completed in three days. There were some unexpected challenges they ran into but I paid the same as the original bid. They are expensive, but you want to have people with their experience on a job like this...
Our house is on piers and we already have other gas appliances, but needed to tap into existing gas line and run a stub up thru the floor. Lister rep quickly assessed situation beneath the house and determined available options for installation. He carefully explained pros/cons of each, and approx. cost and timing. He estimated 4-5 hrs installation and approx. $500 fee (parts and installation). It was rather complicated with the substructure of our home, with very tight quarters and maneuvering of piping conncections under the house. Things went smoother than planned and he was finished in just under 4 hrs, including trip time to shop for supplies and threading of pipe. He was very professional, courteous, and cleaned up after the job. I will definitely have them back for any future plumbing needs. Pricing was very fair for the quality of work.

CMammoth Plumbing LLC
My builder, Shawn Regan, sub-contracted this work to finally complete a and quot;punch list, and quot; over a year after closing. But that is a different story. The initial estimate was to have someone present at the home for 3-4 hrs to complete the project. The plumber's assistant showed up on time to do diggin; however, the plumber showed up 2 hrs late (excuse was traffic and to get supplies), and they were not able to complete the project within the original time estimate. A second visit was scheduled, again requiring me to take time off work to allow acces into the home for the work, now estimated to take 2 hrs. Again, the plumber showed up late, citing need to stop for supplies. It took an additional 7 hrs to complete the project. I had stressed that the project needed to be completed, and am glad that he put the extra effort into completing the installation that night (finished after 9pm). The connection outside the house originally extended over a foot beyond the walls, and I told him that this was not acceptable as a risk for someone to run into it and hurt themselves or damage the connection, and he was able to shorten it. So I do appreciate his receptiveness to my needs. However his punctuality and ability to properly assess the needs for the project leave much to be desired. The builder is responsible for payment for this project. I do not know if it was arranged as a fixed sum for the job, or if it was to be based upon an hourly rate (and I hate to imagine what the overtime charge would have been for working into the night!)

Ver well. During gas line installation, found small leaks in fireplace started, fixed them and brought them to code.

They installed the line with shutoff valves and regulator and converted my LPG grill to natural gas. It was worth every penny to not haul a tank back and forth to refill and not run out of gas half way through my steaks! Very professional job, have used before and will use again.

One call was for a new water heater and a gas line. They left before completing the gas line. Had to call them back to complete it. Found no gas when the cookstop was installed. They came back a third time. The valve wasn't tighted so the handle would work and the line hadn't been purged or tested. I then discovered the plumber had not extended the flue on the gas hot water heater. He just added a section made entirely of tape. I called them back to fix that. When I brought all of this to the owner's attention. He was the one that got a good plumber out to troubleshoot and get the gas going properly. Based on the owner's responsiveness, I decided to give them another try on a water leak in my yard. They put me on for the next day after I called from 12-2. A plumber called at 230 that he was at my house. He said it might be a big job so he'd come back at 830 the next morning. No show so I called the office and the plumber called and he said he'd be there at 1200. No show. I called the office at 130 and they sent him. He got to the house at 230. Lots of excuses about incorrect scheduling and how a "digger" is supposed to do the digging and not him. He dug out the area (complaining quite a bit), found the leak, went back to the shop to get parts, and repairs the broken connection. At 530 he asks if I want the hole filled in because it's now overtime. I told that's not my problem, my appt was at 830 that morning. He said that they'd come back monday and was giving tme the bill. I told them I would pay it when the job was complete. After a call to the office, which didn't forward properly, another plumber called who got the office manager who got the owner. More excuses about Jay the plumber being new and not knowing the after hours policy and a new girl in the office not forwarding the phones right they filled in the hole and I paid the bill. The work appeared done properly before he filled up the hole, but I'm no plumber. There are too many plumbers around to deal with a company that does these sorts of things.

ABay Area AC Heating and Plumbing LLC
I used Bay Area A/C Heating & Plumbing LLC to install a gas line in my home to my kitchen stove and also to the clothes dryer area. I felt good about having them do the work as they know the installation codes and would make a safe installation. Cody & Jeremy did a fine job installing the gas line. Then they arranged for the city inspector to look at the installation (it passed!) They also installed a new tub/shower valve which required going through one of my walls. During the project they managed through issues typical of older homes such as mine: routing around structural members, tight spaces, etc. They even came back later to help with details of the gas hook-up for my stove, and then they installed the stove! Now I have gas service in my kitchen (since CenterPoint has completed their part outside my home)! Along the way Cody & Jeremy were responsive to my many questions. They are always friendly, considerate & polite and work to a safe and quality installation. I have used Bay Area A/C Heating & Plumbing LLC several times already for various needs, and I will definitely use them again. Plumbing, mechanical.

They did a great job with this. On time and spent time explaining the whole process to me. Very helpful. Have had them do other jobs as well: install gas line to dryer, install dryer vent, and that was done very well as well. My only complaint is that I think they should have free estimates.

DMilton Frank Plumbing & Cooling
Milton Frank service was excellent for response to set up a consultation and estimate. Since the project, which was a 70' gas pipe line installed was easy to quote and a 10 minute visit Milton Frank was nice enough to waive the consultation fee. However after a 5 minute review of the project which was to install a gas line straight from the gas meter to a point where a fire pit will be installed, they took 15 minutes to write up an estimate. The estimate was a one-liner " install gas line 75' " for ~$4400. Yes ~$4400! I had three quotes from 3 local reputable contractors that ranged from $400 to $550! So this estimate received from Milton Frank was 10x's more. I questioned the estimate, and even advised of the range of estimates I had received and they seemed quite happy with their quote. Therefore I give them an F for price.
