Recent Review: They waterproofed my basement and my crawlspace. They sealed off my crawlspace completely and they came back each year to check up on the work. When they came out they were able to beat or match other estimates I had already received. They went under the house for at least an hour and took pictures of the crawlspace, which I had never seen. He showed me my water line which was very high!!! I had mold, standing water, and all types of problems. These guys came out and did a great job, and definitely helped me save money.

AALL-DRY Basement Waterproofing & Foundation Repair
I am buying a house and called All Dry basement waterproof to do a foundation inspection. The inspector was very helpful, informative and professional. The report was very clear and easy to understand.

I had Ameri-Dry Waterproofing come to my house to inspect a water problem we were having in our basement.  We found the inspector, Barry, to be very knowledgeable and very thorough in his inspection.  He explained everything to us and answered all of our question, which we had many.  At the end of the inspection we all sat down and went over our goals and expectations.  We settled on the Ameri-Dry drain system and found the price to be fair.  The full warranty was the clincher for us.  They installed the system in less than a week and I must say the men were very courteous.  They worked very hard and finished the job in under four days.  The foreman, Barry, ran his crew very efficiently. Everyone had their job and they performed them to my full satisfaction. Even though we had dust they cleaned up nicely. I highly recommend Ameri-Dry and would hire them again if I ever had the need.

It was very good. Chad was congenial and down to earth. He was very professional and not the typical sales type.

BBreathe Clean
He advertised that he was environmentally friendly. The quote was to keep the moisture from coming in the walls. I ended up doing all the work myself for less than $1,000. He was professional, he came out really quick, but he was just outrageously high.

AGround Up Foundation Repair
Took approximately 3 days to install about 200 linear feet of piping (perforated plastic) and a basin/sump.  This included digging below the footer to install the interior piping. I had solicited other companies for bids prior to choosing Ground Up who I had never heard of or used before.  The owner (Derek) looked over the area, took some measurements and rendered a quote within a day or so. Their pricing was competitive and I felt they would do a better job based on his product knowledge, options, crawl space condition and description of the employees that would be performing the work.  One of the reasons I chose Ground Up was that I was dealing directly with an owner who I felt would address any issues that may arise. Although this was not a complicated job, the employees who performed the work were diligent, polite, friendly and knowledgeable about the products and the installation.  As a side note, I was made aware of Ground Up through a search on Angie's List.  Their positive reviews were encouraging and factored into them being asked to quote.  Another company I contacted had a poor review and was asked to explain.  Their response was insufficient and was one reason they were downgraded in the final decision. I would not hesitate to use Ground Up for future projects.

I called MasterDry because the inside walls at the corners of my basement were wet.  There was some wetness around the base of the floor as well, but no standing water.  I called MasterDry thinking that they would check for mold as well as give me options to correct the problem.  As far as checking for mold, that may have been an assumption on my part since they advertise basement waterproofing.  The salesman came to my house and basically wanted to sell me their system, which is probably great for a basement that floods or has a measurable amount of water coming in.  My basement did not.  The salesman kept pushing the lifetime warranty, which actually only covered their system, not any possible damage for their system failing.  I asked him if they had alternative options and he told me I could put a new French Drain in which would mean tearing up the whole outside area around the foundation - an option that just wasn't practical and an option that I don't even know if they offered.  I asked him about mold and he just skirted that issue.  I received the quote which was over $5000 (including a military discount) and I told him I'd let him know. When I talked to him again I mentioned that the block wall in one room was wet and he told me that they could put a special covering over the wall at an additional cost of course. The more I thought about the system, the more I realized that it was not what I needed.  I did not have enough water in my basement to warrant their system which included a sump pump.  I called a contractor who told me that my problem wasn't really that bad and by adding a drainage pipe (not a new French Drain around the base of my house) and changing the flow of the water outside around my house would correct the problem, including the wet wall.  He came and did the work for me at a cost of $1750 as opposed to $5000+.  I no longer have the water issue. I have no complaints about this company's product or work.  I am writing this review to let you know that even though the system they wanted to sell me sounded good and sounded like it was just what I might need, it was not. The salesman was selling a product not trying to fix a problem.

The only good comment I have for this company is that they were on time each morning! The job was done half-assed, basement leaked during the first heavy rain two days later, when I called the sales rep back to let him know I was very disappointed and the basement was leaking I couldn't get any response until I let them know that I went to the bank and cancelled the check because it hadn't cleared yet! I was misled on the installation of the encapsulation and it looks like large trash bags duct taped together and the tape is already peeling off and they don't seem to be concern with doing anything to fix it except applying more tape that still won't stick. The two workers doing the job claimed the they wiped the mold off all the floor joists but it just came back when in reality they hadn't even touched some of the worst areas because when the owner came back out to finish the job once I cancelled the check the mold came off just fine. Two two day job took five to complete.

See above.  Work was performed as scheduled with minimum disruption of our every day living.  All this sounds preposterous but it's true.  I would not go anywhere else if I had a drainage problem.

AGibson's Grading And Construction
I originally contacted MasterDry because there was water seeping into the basement through the block wall.  MasterDry wanted to sell me a system that I felt was not warranted because there wasn't enough water in the basement to require installing a sump pump - which is what they wanted to do.  I searched for other basement waterproofing contractors on Angie's List and found David Gibson from Gibson's Grading and contacted him.  He adjusted his busy schedule to come to the house to see what was needed.  He felt that the problem was the water flow on the outside of the house and by rerouting the water and installing a drainage system to the outside the problem would be taken care of. He was able to schedule a time to come and install the drainage system around the outside of the house where the water was seeping into the basement.  There was also a problem with a corner wall in the basement that had apparently been repaired at sometime but not done correctly.  He fixed that wall and he also applied dry-lock to the block wall in the basement. I am very pleased with the work that David did.  The problem has been solved at what I feel is a reasonable price for the amount of work that was done.  I would highly recommend this company for any foundation or drainage issues you might have.
