We could not be happier with the work that Andrew and Randy did on our Master Suite Remodel / Bathroom Addition. He helped us convert what we think was a bonus / sunroom into a small, but beautiful, master suite. Andrew was a great communicator through the entire process. He was very professional, yet down to earth. He even completed the job a week ahead of schedule! Love everything about our space. Would highly recommend and definitely hire again for future projects. Thanks, Andrew!

Todd and his crew did an excellent job on a custom bathroom remodel project. He listened carefully to what we wanted which was out of the ordinary. He suggested ways to economize, although we decided to go with higher budget materials. When we had a small plumbing problem at the end, he was back within a day to get it fixed.

Great! Angi, Phil and their team did a super job. Angie kept us informed in detail while they were matching tile, cabinet doors and securing other materials. Phil also was very attentive throughout the remodeling process. Overall they did a great job and I would highly recommend them for any remodeling or construction projects.

AAffordable Tile Works
Heath and Kelly did a great job with our bathroom renovation. Super nice, friendly people that are easy to talk to and have lots of knowledge and experience. Their quality of work and cost of service is unbeatable. They made several recommendations during the design process that helped deliver not a only a great result, but a sound design that will hold up for years to come. I am certainly no expert, but all the details they put into our renovation went well beyond what most companies could or would deliver. I base that opinion on previous work we've had done on our house renovation. I was particularly impressed with the shower installation. It was built from the ground up including the framing, plumbing, shower pan, wallboard, waterproofing, and ceramic tile. It not only looks impressive, it was built to last.

FIMPROVE AMERICA INC
We were very disappointed with how the contractor treated us throughout the process. Before hiring him, The contractor went above and beyond to make sure he received our business. After that, he became rude and disrespectful to us as customers. From day 1 the project was off schedule and did not start on the day we expected and agreed upon. There was little to no communication throughout the project. We tried tom contact the contractor multiple times without getting a response and when there was communication, it was very poor and unprofessional. When we told contractor that we were not satisfied early in the renovation project, the contractor blamed us for our dissatisfaction and was extremely rude. (We were in fact very laid back and patient customers.) This continued throughout the rest of the project.e project took twice as long as we wee told. When we receive our final invoice there was a mysterious $400 charge that we had not agreed to pay for in our contract and was not a charge we were made aware of. We would never hire Improve America for another job and would not suggest their business to anyone. We have never been treated so poorly as people or as paying customers. The contractor of this company is extremely unprofessional and does not treat his clients with respect or kindness. Although the job they performed was satisfactory, we do not feel as though it was done as well and to the standards that we were told. We had to monitor the work very carefully and ask multiple times for tasks to be redone or something to be fixed. Please, do not hire this company for any renovation projects.

We had to have an unexpected bathroom renovation in one of our bathrooms due to the unpleasant discovery of a rotted joist under the bathtub due to years of water seeping through the aged tiles and grout in the shower. I obtained four quotes from contractors and chose Improve America because of the price quoted and good Angie's List reviews. As soon as the first bathroom was completed, my husband and I were so pleased with the results and easy process that we decided to have Improve America immediately begin to remodel the second bathroom, too! I cannot say enough positive things about the entire experience of working with Mel and his subcontractors. First, as mentioned, the results were fantastic. The tile turned out beautifully and all of the work met or exceeded my expectations. Second, Mel provided flexibility to accommodate our busy works schedules by coordinating and passing along a key that we gave him to all of the various subcontractors (plumber, tile people, etc.). He also accommodated our schedules by having a lot of the work on the second bathroom completed while we were away on vacation. Third, I was impressed by not only the quality of work of the people with whom Mel chooses to work, but also by the friendliness and respectfulness of the people with whom he chooses to work. Most of the work was completed while we were away from our home, but they always treated our home with respect, and on the occasion that we did happen to meet someone that was working, they were always friendly and pleasant. Fourth, I was pleased with the communication that Mel provided. He was easy to contact by text message or email, which is convenient when you are having a busy day! Finally and very importantly, I feel that we saved a lot of money by working with Improve America versus another contractor. Mel allowed us to purchase our own tile and fixtures for the renovation and only invoiced us for the labor and other misc. materials (most of which was included in the quoted price, but there were a couple of add-on items like valves that had to be replaced unexpectedly in one of the bathrooms). This allowed us to do our own price shopping and ensure that we did not have to pay an outrageous mark-up for the materials. I really appreciated the transparency of the costs, and ultimately, the total costs of the renovations were much lower than if we had chosen one of the other contractors which had quoted the job. Overall, I am very satisfied with the experience and would not only use Improve America again, but I would also highly recommend Improve America to family and friends. Working with Mel made a potentially stressful renovation very easy and I could not be more pleased with the results!

These men did the job right. They replaced everything that needed to be replaced. Installed cement board and coated it for waterproofing. Installed new backing for floor tile. The file work is fantastic including inlets in the tub not shown in photo. Great work or crown modeling including difficult transition from tile to rest of the room. Did a great job with new window and ceiling. They clean up every day. I left them in my house while I was at work and did not have any issues. Over the years I have hired many contractors and have usually been unhappy with something. That is not the case with these men. I will hire them again.

Steven and Randy did an excellent job removing an old bathroom exhaust fan and installing a newer, energy efficient fan. The light switch for the bathroom lights and fan was located just outside the bathroom and they moved it inside in a more convenient location. Steven and Randy were very professional and friendly. They even cleaned up after themselves when they finished their work! Without a doubt, I'll be contacting Foster Electric, specifically these two gentlemen, if I need any other electrical work done in my house!

FParham Roofing & Siding Co
Just as an FYI all my payments were made out to Parham Roofing and Siding hence the review for that company rather than the subs that he employed. 1. Roof - Went well just as expected as I had used them before. Kenny (the owner) asked if he could quote the interior work and while I was skeptical of using a roofing contractor for interior work I went ahead and let him quote it with his "interior guy". His quote wasn't the highest or the lowest but the sub sounded like he knew what he was doing so I let them do the work on the inside. I wouldn't do that again. 2. Lay tile - This went pretty well aside from the problem with the grout that I was told would be fixed by Kenny that was not. 3. Sheetrock work - This was where I was most unhappy with the work. Apparently the interior guy didn't end up hanging the sheetrock. As it was explained to me there wasn't a roof to be worked on at the time so Kenny sent some of his roofers over to install the sheetrock and they did a poor job. I should have insisted on it being redone but was assured that the finishing guys could fix the problems. They tried unsuccessfully but did get the worst of the spots at least to where they weren't awful. The problem here was that I believed it could be fixed when I should have insisted it be completely redone. 4. Crown molding - This was redone twice and then some sections were redone 3 times in the end it was fine. 5. Painting - Went fine. Some rooms were better than others but pretty good work aside from finding paint droplets on the floors. 6. They did a good job in the bathroom aside from some poor sheetrock work and poor spacing in the corners with the tiles. All in all I was much happier with this work than the rest of the rooms. Additional issues - The key to the house was not returned to me by Kenny. Kenny also stole a light that belonged to me when he cleaned up and the plumbing leaked as soon as the tenant used it. I have fixed the plumbing and taken care of everything but the bad spot in the grout. The biggest problem occurred after the job was finished and I found the issue with the grout and the things that were not replaced. I was told by Kenny that he would fix the grout and that my light would be returned along with the keys. This never happened. Quite frankly I wouldn't have been nearly as unhappy had Kenny returned the keys, fixed the grout, actually done the plumbing correctly, and not taken my light. Unfortunately these issues were not noticed until after he was paid.
Recent Review: We couldn't have asked for a better experiece during our remodel! They showed up promptly every day, worked quickly to get it all done, and stayed on budget. They did exactly what we wanted, even when I changed my mind on a few things during the process. (Sorry guys!) Everyone was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and respectful. The results were fantastic! It looked better than we invisioned and we are so happy with our new space! We will definitely be calling Jeff and his team for any future work needed!
Recent Review: Our house was built in the 1940's and had the original cast iron and some of the original fixtures. We contract to have them completely remodel the downstairs bathroom. The layout of the original bathroom was awkwardly designed and it did not allow for aging in place. We met with the estimator and the plumbers to design a bathroom that will allow us to stay in this home as we age. They completely gutted the bathroom and replaced all the cast iron pipes and old copper water lines. They installed and completed the drywall and mud process, painted the walls, installed new cabinets, fixtures, accessories and artwork. They also installed a new bathroom door and the hardware. We loved what they did with this bathroom so much that we contracted with them to remodel the upstairs bathroom. The upstairs bathroom is much smaller and had the original cast iron tub and fixtures including the commode, as well as cast iron drain pipes and old copper lines. They came in and gutted this bathroom and installed a tub that is big enough for my 6'2" teens to soak in when they want to take a bath. They completed the drywall and mud process, painted the walls, installed new fixtures, cabinets, accessories and artwork. They also installed a new bathroom door and hardware and a new window treatment. During the demolition of the two bathrooms, the plumbers took steps to keep the debris and dust out of the rest of the house. They hung plastic, lined the hardwood floors with protective paper, carried off their trash and swept up everyday before leaving. When we began to remodel our kitchen, we could only think of one contractor that we would want to use for the plumbing and installation of the new fixtures. While the walls were open, they came and replaced all the cast iron pipes and drains and installed a new dishwasher drain. Once the cabinets had been installed, they came back and installed the new kitchen faucet, an ice-maker line and the dishwasher. They were always on time and kept to the timeline agreed upon at the beginning of each job. We would recommend them to others and will definitely call them for all our future plumbing needs.
Recent Review: I could not have been more pleased with the work that Tim Ahrens did. He was always there when he said he would be and finished the project exactly when he said he would. The work was excellent. He was so quiet I didn't even know when he removed the bathtub and tile. I felt very comfortable leaving him there alone when I ran errands. I wish every service worker had his work ethic. I will hire him again.
Recent Review: I've been very pleased with him every single time. Prompt, courteous, and they look very professional. They offer insurance and are very mannerly. Extremely pleased. I would call him every time hands down.
Recent Review: The did the tile around my bathtub, put in a new sink, put in new ceramic tile flooring, and painted. They were a great couple of guys. They were very polite and respectful. They were also very prompt with letting you know what time they would be doing something, and leaving for the day. They kept me really well informed. Overall it was a great experience. They came out with 2 guys, and the owners came out themselves.
Recent Review: Richard , Dan and his team listened to our needs, explained in detail options and solutions. They did what they said they would do in a professional and efficient manner. Our bathroom is everything and more that we had hoped and planned for.It was a pleasure working with them and i would highly recommend All South Remodeling.
Recent Review: Our experience with Tiffany and Charles at Kitchens of Chattanooga has been excellent. We have admittedly been difficult clients, as we are doing most of the demo and construction work ourselves. This has resulted in minor tweaks to the layout that affected the layout of the cabinets, but they took these changes in stride and made sure things came together. Tiffany’s sense of style was a key factor in our decision to go with Kitchens of Chattanooga- I made it clear that I didn’t want anything boring or too traditional. She listened to my ideas, collaborated with me on Pinterest, and came up with a design that looks amazing installed- even better than her rendering! We will be needing a bathroom remodel at some point and will definitely use Kitchens of Chattanooga again.
