Aaron was a great project manager and personally did the demo and framing. He puts the homeowner first and does quality work. We plan to use him for our new laundry room project.

DTri-Cities restoration & remodeling
They did a terrible job, the shower head is on my face and not my overhead repair was $165.00. they have stashed all kinds of garbage around and they did not pick what they said they would for $300.00, and I ended up doing the picking of the garbage and wants a$125.00 back. For the repair of the tiles on 2 bathrooms which was done horrifically, I paid more that a $1000.00, I need for them to pay me back at least a $1000.00. They did a good job on the 2 bedrooms but on the bathroom they were just terrible and they 2nd bathroom the horrible, grout was coming out.

ABathrooms & Kitchens Renovations
My bathroom needed to be completely gutted out and rebuilt. The contractor completed the work on time, within budget and made every effort to keep construction dust contained. The contractor was professional, attentive to my requests, my new remodeled bathroom is absolutely stunning!

ARoberts Carpentry Services
This team helped to complete a bathroom project that had been going on for several months. I went through 4 other contractors until I found this wonderful husband and wife team. I can tell you there are so many bad, dishonest, and armature contractors in this region but Robert’s Carpentry Services know their stuff and are professionals in what they do. They have many years or experience and most of all – wait for it…… they are indeed licensed. I found other contractors will lie and tell you they have a license but they do not, these people do and they keep it up every year. I only wish I had started with them 7 months ago; they are so easy to get along with and true down to earth people.

FMild to Extreme Plumbing
Bathroom looks ok. The kid they used as a sub-contractor with the plumbing knew what he was doing and did impressive work, and another helper they use part-time, Lowell was very knowledgeable and helpful. If it had not been for them, I'm sure even more of the jobs would not be completed yet. The owner of the company, Dave seems to be a nice man, but doesn't seem to be able to enforce quality of work by partner John. John who acted as if he were part owner and who quoted the prices on the other handy-man jobs after the bathroom was "completed" seems to be the main problem. He was constantly asking for money prior to completion of work and wanted me to keep that info from Dave. They started work here in November of 2010 and still have not finished, even though I have already paid for all the work to be completed. He acknowledged that he never had to wait whenever he asked for money and that I could not have treated him better if he were family. He has given me date after date that he would be here to complete the jobs already paid for and never showed up and never called. And now, he doesn't even take my phone calls. In my opinion, he is a con-artist that not only takes advantage of the customers but also to his co-workers.

AChad Henry Construction
This is the third time in the last year that we have employed Chad Henry's Construction and we have been completely satisfied every time. The first part of this project was to rebuild the front porch using composite decking and synthetic railings and posts (we hate painting). We also had the front stairs reconfigured and rebuilt using composite material with a handrail added. He also realigned the front door and installed new hardware, along with installing a new storm door. As usual, the work was as estimated and completed on time. At this time we scheduled a bathroom rebuild. The total cost for the porch and all materials was $5557.00 We then had the bathroom redone, for the most part using materials we supplied. He removed the existing flooring and replaced it with tiles, taking off and saving the existing baseboards. He replaced the toilet with an upgraded model we supplied and the vanity and mirror that we supplied (using our materials was in the estimate). He supplied some of the attaching materials for replumbing the vanity sink and toilet. This project took a total of three days, one of which was a time allowance for the floor prep materials to dry in. The total cost for the work on the bathroom area was $1550.00. All in all, I am extremely pleased with the work that has been done for me (including a previous addition on the house). Mr. Henry will offer his opinion if he feels we might have better options for our projects, but will, in the end, always give us what we want. Usually, his ideas are more appropriate than our original thoughts. His workmanship and work ethic are exemplary and I would recommend his company to anyone.

He was very nice to work with. He came on time. He was done pretty much within the timeframe he gave us; we added other things to the job, which is why he finished a bit later. I never heard a bad word out of any of the workers. He was expensive, but it was worth it to us. We were right to choose him.

Excellent. Tear out, followed by organized ceiling paint, wall paint, floor, installation, fixture installation. They identified potential issues along the way and fixed them. Careful not to soil carpets. Cleaned up everyday, minimum disruption. Did more than I originally asked for willingly. Very high quality work. Totally honest and very nice people. Perfectionists.

When Doug Pinkston came out and repaired my water heater, I told him what I wanted to do to my two bathrooms in the future. It was just a discussion about in-the-future bathroom remodeling. Doug told me what he could do to help me in my remodeling. I definitely plan on contacting Doug when I get ready to do the bathroom remodeling that he is able to help me with.
Recent Review: I hired TJ's Handyman Service to repair the damaged floor in my bathroom from an old, broken toilet flange and to replace the old carpet with tile. TJ arrived when he said he would and provided a detailed estimate of the job. They arrived on time everyday, did excellent work and cleaned up at the end of the day. Their estimate for cost and job duration was right on and I am extremely pleased with the speed and quality of their work as well as their professionalism. I would definitely recommend them and I plan on hiring them again for other jobs.

Recent Review: Outstanding job!!! Very professional, showed up when they said they would, on time, did everything to make certain I was happy with their work. Also Benny's brother Fanie has done some work for us, installed cabinets and backsplash. Excellent service. Honest, professional work. I would definitely hire them again.
Recent Review: After a bad experience with another tile contractor who spent three weeks remodeling one bathroom, I went to Angie's List and found Old School Tile. The owner, Steve Johnson, came to the house to see what we wanted done, gave us a very fair estimate for the work, and said he could remodel the other two bathrooms in four days. Well, it only took him and his crew two days to remodel the other bathrooms. We are very pleased with the job they did and would highly recommend Old School Tile to anyone who wants excellent tile work done quickly and at a fair price.
