BROBERTSON WATER TREATMENT
I have used them for a long time now. Infact I used them when I built the house, ten years ago. So, I haven?t compared their prices with the other companies. They are very comfortable people to get along with. The problem with the water softner took a while to be figured out. However, they were very diligent in working on it. The water softner was under warranty. As they came out to do the service, they charged me the yearly maintenance charge of $100. Since my water was not getting soft, they had to come out 3-4 times to look at it. They have 30-45 days of guarantee on their work. I am not disappointed with the quality of their work. The only disappointment I have with them is with their responsiveness. They do return my phone calls. The only problem is, I think, they don?t have enough service people for the area that they serve. So, they take a long time to come out in between calls. In case the work isn?t completed or if there is more work to be done, they don?t come out the very next day. Instead they come out the next week. I guess this is because they are short on people. I can schedule easily though. I would understand their delay if I was a new customer. However, if I am in the midst of a problem, I?d expect faster resolution of the same. I?d still continue to use them in the future.

FChoice Home Warranty
The agent who helped me (Baker), was professional (not friendly or engaging), just robotic professional, in answering my questions throughout the call. He immediately opened the call with the current promotion and attempted to close the sale. I had just talked to two companies before Choice and those companies opened with a warm greeting and began to tell me what they could offer me for their pricing.  Choice seemed irritated with my questions, yet they still addressed my concerns. Towards the end of the call the agent got more aggressive to close. Then when I wasn't interested in closing with him until I spoke with my husband, he became angry and said, "Well, since you're never going to call me back, can I get you over to my supervisor since I am obviously not explaining what we have to offer very well?" That's when I retorted politely and explained that this wasn't some fly by night attempt at getting just any company to provide coverage, but this was to protect my mother who is a hospice patient that I take care of in my home, so I wasn't going to proceed without communicating with my husband AND comparing the plans of a few providers. I asked for his direct phone number so I could call him back; instead he said he would call me back at the end of the day and he hung up on me. If this is the way they treat people over the phone who are trying to protect the most expensive item they will ever be responsible for in their entire life, I can only imagine how nasty they would be if I had to file a claim. I will NOT be utilizing their service.

APro N Stall
Jerry arrived right on time.  He was very through and professional.  Which each step he described what he was doing and why he was doing it.  Our water heater had a malfunctioning thermostat.  The other thermostat was replaced previously and was mismatched.  Jerry explained to us that misplaced matched thermostats may not sync well and could affect the performance of the water heater.  He also replaced the heating elements and flushed the tank for us.

I replaced an older (Rain Soft) water treatment system that had been installed by a company that proved to be unresponsive and inept regarding maintenance. I started looking for people I could have confidence in. I chose Ecowater Systems and the people who came out were great! They were knowledgeable and "soft sell" - the consultant told me I really didn't need a new water softener right away because it could still function if the salt bridge could be broken up. He also did not push the largest system because I'm the only person living here right now. I was thinking resale, however, and that a larger system would better accommodate a family. On the day of installation, the worker had forgotten something. I called the company and the consultant came out with the needed item and stayed and assisted with the entire installation (which included changing out pipes in the crawl space). While in the crawl space, they alerted me to a separate problem, which I'm now taking care of.

ABenjamin Franklin Plumbing
I was very impressed with Justin and this company's trying to accommodate my emergency situation with a clogged toilet.  While he was here, we discussed my kitchen faucet, and for sanitary purposes, I decided to purchase a touchless one.  Justin installed this a few days ago, and it is wonderful!  He did an excellent job, and made sure things were functioning properly, and cleaned up the area before he left. We also discussed the horrible quality of our city water (living within 500 yds. of the water treatment plant), and I scheduled Eric to come out and test my water.  I thought I would throw up when I saw the sludge that was suspended in my tap water, as well as filtered water from my refrigerator.  I knew the levels of some questionable particulates were too high in our water, and decided to purchase a whole house filtration system.  Justin installed it today, and replaced a valve he thought was not installed properly (by previous company), at no charge.  I am hoping this system will be the answer to lime build-up, scale, and just the horrible taste and quality of our water.  Eric will make a return visit in approx. 10 days to see how the system is working, and go over questions I might have after using it for that time period. I am extremely pleased, and feel like I now have a reputable company I can call on for all my plumbing issues.  I have used other plumbers in the 4.5 yrs. living here, and none compare to Ben Franklin !
