Recent Review: We asked the person who came to our house to measure the opening to also quote caulking the rear corners where the grout had cracked.  The salesperson at Lowes insisted that $65 was included in the price to cover the labor for caulking and the extra tube of caulk, even though we could not find this task in the contract.  When we asked the owner of Titan about the caulking, he replied that the additiional $65 was for the drill bits needed to put holes in the porcelain tiles onto which the shower door was mounted.  (This is the only time we have had to pay for a workman's tools!)  He would have caulked the back corners if his assistant had the suitable caulk on his truck..  He didn't.  We told him that we did not want clear caulk put into the cracked grout.and implied that we would caulk the corners ourself.  End of story...Lowes did not prepare a complete contract, Titan did not complete the work we thought we paid for.  The door works fine. Late addition:  A Lowes representatve offerred to credit our account with just over $100, $65 + 25 + taxes.  He agreed that their installers provide their own tools.  Good people!

Recent Review: Phil noticed a scratch in the glass door that had been custom made and shipped to Phil for installation. He was not satisfied with the issue and without me even asking told me he was ordering a new one and to use this one until the new one arrived. I am very appreciative that Phil noticed the problem and care of the problem. The new door is very classy and we highly recommend Fayetteville County Glass.

Recent Review: They did excellent work and did a great job according to our requests. They were very professional. The only thing was he did have a painter who was working for him who charged $500 to paint our kitchen island and they said it could not be matched. We had another painter guy who went to a different paint company and he was able to match it exactly and only charged us $200. Other than that, they were very good and we would use them again.

Recent Review: Headed up by Ken and David. All of the installers were efficient, professional, provided excellent quality of work, cleaned up after each session.  Special thanks to Jeremy / Jimmy  - plumbing and fixing our shower valve leak. Special thanks to Freddy / Eddy - Tile Work. Awesome Work!! Shower and bathroom Floor work was completed in a week. One catch, the Glass door and panel for shower had to be measured after shower tile installation (for accuracy). We waited just over two weeks for shower glass door installation.  Added Spa skirt work was done quickly - one day. They stuck to the estimate provided for the work and worked with us on any changes we requested. They were easy to work with and stuck to the planned schedules. Some lack of communication at times. (What time workers were going to arrive in morning, and who to talk to about certain aspects.) Had to ask for receipts for payments made.  Since this was our first time dealing with contractors/renovations, we were new at all aspects of it, however.  Installation completed without issue. Overall - We are very, very pleased, every day we step into the bathroom.  How it should be right?  ;  ) They will be our first thought to call if we have a need in the future. Thanks J and D.

They supplied all labor. We did the shopping for all materials (tub, tile, shower door, etc). While there were two mistakes made in the installation, Handy-Works promptly and without any fuss, corrected the mistakes. We will happily use them again.

We needed some changes to our hall bath and to hang a new front door. When we got the estimate, the contractor gave us a list of items to buy. We scheduled a time for them to come back. One item ran late so we had to change to start date. The contractor was very flexible in changing the date. The contractors showed up on time, and worked efficiently. There were a couple of minor problems - they initially tried to hang the vanity refacing with the wood grain running the wrong direction, and we never could find a set of tub / shower handles that would fit properly to replace the old ones. They finished the work in 2 days and charged me exactly the estimate. My only issue is that in looking more closely at some of the work, it is not exact (i.e. - the cabinet door is not exactly hung square, a facing corner is not cut exactly to the opening, etc). All of it is minor, and I am probably the only one who sees it. I would use them again for small jobs.

Rodney and his team a extremely responsive and professional with wonderful communication. For the master bath, I had not made all of my selections and really didn't want to be rushed through the process, but for the hall bath, I had made selections and had a hard deadline. In both instances, Rodney and his team adjusted their approach and timeline to meet my needs. I had partially gutted the master bath. Rodney's team completed the demo and tore down a wall. They installed porcelain tile, slate tile, pebble tile and a slate and glass mosaic tile. All of the fixtures were updated and a new shower door was installed. The bathroom looked fabulous when it was completed and they completely and thoroughly communicated their schedule, any schedule changes, any issues with my plans. Very customer and solution focused. A few months later Rodney did my hall bath. He and his team completely gutted the hall bath, installed a jetted tub, porcelain tile and subway tile bath surround and new fixtures. As with the master bath, the hall bath looked wonderful upon completion and Rodney hit the deadline. When selling the house, we were working on a very tight timeline for the closing. Rodney completed the necessary work -windows, wood replacement and a new door - on short notice with a hard deadline. I cannot express how wonderful Rodney is to work with. He is dedicated and has wonderful skills understanding people and communicating.

DCapital Construction
Capital was very professional at the beginning. but throughout the project, there were many days they did not show due to complications with another job. This increased the length of the project by several months. The quality of work was so poor, I had to constantly ask them to redo. It was obvious mistakes such as installing chipped tile, covering up tile with mortor, leaving mortor footprints on back porch. The person in charge of my project moved. Capital finally hired an outside subcontractor to tear out and redo their work at their expense. Twice I have had them come out in the past year to re secure a glass shower door.
