Recent Review: We were very pleased with the ability and professionalism of Chris and her team.  She was able to capture the effect we wanted by blending what she learned about my taste and that of my husband with her own eye for design and the environment in which we are located.  After extended conversations and a picture taking tour of the house, she returned with "story boards" for each room.  These consisted of photos of the windows with sketches of the proposed treatments overlaid and accompanying fabric samples.  We reviewed, discussed, altered and finally agreed to a plan that met our budget. Unfortunately, there were some delays, and the original deadline was not met.  However, these were due to circumstances Chris could not control and we were notified in a very professional manner when they occurred.  Overall it was a very positive experience--kind of like having a good friend with lot's of talent help you decorate your home!  I would recommend her without hesitation.

They did exactly what we wanted, even when I changed my mind on a few things during the process. (Sorry guys!) Everyone was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and respectful. The results were fantastic! It looked better than we invisioned and we are so happy with our new space! We will definitely be calling Jeff and his team for any future work needed!

Recent Review: This was our (wife & I) 2nd project with Dare Remodeling. Ann wrote the porch review in March. We were so pleased with the level of craftsmanship on that first project that we asked them to quote the bathroom project. We were not disappointed!!! Ann and I got to see the whole project from start to finish (I am retired and Ann isn't working). I know what's behind the pretty skin and the care that was taken so that it remains good looking. This group really takes pride in their work. As you may know there is a certain amount of changes that occur brought on by the customer and those things that were encountered that were hidden during the estimate. We certainly had our share on this project. There was nothing that we could not workout in a fair manner to both parties. They are very good at listening to your plan and working with you to achieve the end goal. While they are perfectly able to design a bathroom for you, they are willing to loan you their experience and support to achieve your dream. Our project was a combination of ideas from both parties. They made Ann and I feel like we did it all but we didn't turn down any suggestions from Dare Remodeling. We felt very comfortable with them in our house and we really enjoyed the experience of working with them. We are looking at another project for next year and will obviously put them at the top. I expect they will be very busy. Some details of the cost as shown above; the materials included special order granite, therapeutic whirlpool tub, tile (floor and custom shower), shower door, all faucets for sink and tub, toilet, shower system package and accessories (towel bars, grab rails etc.) came to approx. $17,250.

Recent Review: My experience with the company was excellent. The owner assessed my needs and put together a plan.  Her crew arrived punctually as scheduled every day, worked efficiently, and accomplished everything they said they would do. The owner was very hands-on, methodical, and attentive to details. I would highly recommend her to others.

AMiracle Method
We went to Home Show in Chattanooga,Tn talked with a guy told him what we needed done & he gave us price written on his business card about a week or so after that my husband tried to contact him after a couple of times playing phone tag we finally got in touch with John,we set a date & time & Richie was a little late on 1 st day but it was not that much of an issue ! The only thing we had to do was take all stuff out of shower's such as shower caddy etc. We did remove shower curtains & rods cause we were gonna replace them anyway. He went to work almost immediately, very nice, very courteous, very professional. He did 2 baths 1st day so we would still have 1 bathroom to use . It does take 24 hrs for tubs to cure. We knew that smell of coating would be strong & they use big fans with exhaust hoses that go out windows but I have bronchial asthma & was so overwhelmed by fumes that I had to leave the house. I came back several hours later fumes still very strong, . Luckily I have a very dear friend who I called n I went over & spent the night with her, because I actually could not breathe in the house. My husband however was fine & actually slept in master bedroom where tub had been done 1st ! Next day he came back n finished shower with seat downstairs. Those fumes had to be the strongest, guess shower was the largest, but luckily there is a window that we were able to open to vent fumes! The tubs n showers turned out absolutely perfect, they look brand new we also changed out fixtures & shower rods and had recently had toilets replaced n new sinks n vanities added, so basically we now have 3 new bathrooms @ probably minimal cost compared to a total remodel of bathrooms. They also do tile work & gave us a price on tiling up n around the tubs n large shower. Extremely reasonable. Within the next few weeks we will probably contact them n probably have the showers tiled. All in all experience was wonderful, only thing I would do different would be do @ time of year where all doors n windows could be open so maybe fumes could get out sooner. Thanks Miracle Method you guys are great ! Lynda & David McClain

FWilliam H Fryar Inc
Consumer BEWARE ? I would NOT recommend using William H. Fryar Inc.  Billy Fryar?s lack of professionalism, failure to deliver as promised and poor quality of product delivered is the worst I have ever experienced.  I have never been so disappointed, frustrated, and lost faith in any other person as much as I have with Mr. Fryar. My story begins in January 2014 when my home was significantly damaged by a fire.  I had a Contractor working for me at the time doing a bath and kitchen remodel.  As I already had this Contractor, I elected to continue to use him for the reconstruction of the home.  My Insurance Adjuster and Contractor?s estimates of the cost to repair the home were significantly different, in the range of >$100,000.  To help resolve this and at the recommendation of a member of the Chattanooga Remodelers Council, Billy Fryar was contracted to provide an estimate of the repair costs, using the same estimating tool as the insurance company.   During my initial meeting with Billy, he was very personable and assured me that he would act as my advocate in dealing with the insurance company and would do everything possible to reduce the amount of ?out of pocket? expense I would incur because of the estimate differences.   It took over two months to get the initial estimate, all the time, no reconstruction or work was occurring on my home and I was/am residing in temporary living conditions. Finally in April, Billy provided an estimate and he, my Contractor and I met to discuss the details.  Billy?s estimate was close in total dollar value to what my Contractor felt the overall costs would be.  I asked Billy how much of the estimate could be questioned or disputed and his reply was ?it is solid, at most there may be $10,000 that could be discussed/disputed?.  I submitted his estimate to my Insurance Adjuster and Insurance Company.  Within two weeks, my Insurance Adjuster had gone through Billy?s estimate in detail and found numerous duplications, unexplained costs, and gross errors.  Specifics were:  Estimate includes remove and replace for most items, yet demolition is factored in the estimates for removing damaged items. (Double counting) Demolition for $1,800, already addressed in original estimate, plus the code upgrade estimate, plus the items that are factored as ?remove / replace?  Chimney replacement for $5,400, this was not fire damaged.  Finish Carpentry - one line item entry for $37,284, no details provided and this appears to be all duplicative as the estimate itself already has trim in the items.  The Office total of $12,122.56 appears to be a duplication of items already factored in the same estimate for room Office.  The Master Bedroom total of $9,160 appears to be a duplication of items already factored in the same estimate.  The Upstairs Bath total of $5,422 appears to be a duplication of items already factored in the same estimate. The Laundry total of $981 appears to be a duplication of items already factored in the same estimate.  The Framing and Roofing items which total $56,943 appear to be a duplication of items already factored in the same estimate. My Contractor and I again met with Billy to discuss the input from the Insurance Adjuster.  During the meeting all Billy did was take notes and say ?hmmm, maybe he?s right, or hmmm, he has a point there?.  His original ?it is solid, at most there may be $10,000 that could be discussed/disputed? was obviously not correct as my Insurance Adjuster just disputed over $100,000 in the estimate.  Billy committed to reevaluating the estimate and getting back to me and my Contractor within a week --- this was late April. In July, Billy did resubmit to me and my Contractor an estimate ? unfortunately he made limited changes, the estimate still contained all of the items previously disputed by my Insurance Adjuster.  It is now late August, Billy has not responded to my Contractor or me.  I have sent emails via his website and have attempted to call him ---- this is useless as he does not answer his phone and his voice mail box is always full so no message can be left.  I have basically paid Billy Fryar over $4000 for nothing but aggravation. Again, Consumer, stay away from William H Fryar Inc unless you want an unresponsive and unprofessional contractor.  This has been the worst experience ever ? find someone in need and take advantage of them should be his company motto.
