Recent Review: The service was okay. The install took a little time. I felt that what was advertised, and what I received wasn’t exactly what I ordered. I think I should’ve been given the choice if I wanted that product, or if I wanted something different. They workers were professional, and they worked as long as they could to finish the job. I would recommend them to others
Recent Review: I was searching for a cheaper alternative to home security monitoring. My family and I are on a tight budget, and we could not afford the steep charges from Suddenlink and other local home security providers for their systems. The two things causing the services to be so expensive were: (a) the cost of the monthly phone service we would need, since we don't have home phone service, and (b) the cost of the monitoring itself. We would had to pay about $80 a month, or more with these traditional companies! Thankfully I found NextAlarm after some careful googling. They are a fraction of the price of any of their competitors. Their system appeals to me, because it uses the internet rather than a phone line, saving lots of money. Their monitoring itself (done in the traditional way, with real people in a dispatch office) is also substantially cheaper on top of that. I paid $250 for the home security kit and now I only pay $13.50 per month for the monitoring! Its so cheap that the costs are literally offset entirely by the savings to my homeowner's insurance premium. The support staff at NextAlarm are great. They are so patient, and they will help you with anything related to your system. I have called them numerous times with little questions about this or that, and they are always super nice and knowledgable. They even walk you through how to make changes to your security system, step-by-step, when you want to change delay or change the programs. Please make note of the fact that they do not have a local installer to do the installation. The third-party vendor who offers an and quot;Instal cardand quot; will not be able to install your service in East Texas (they will refund your money once they see where you need the installation). Point being, you will need to hire a local handyman to install the home security system for you. As I already mentioned, I used Stephan du Toit -- (www.facebook.com/professionalhandymanservices). He charged my $60. Besides that little hiccup, NextAlarm is amazing. In summary, I love my service. I hope more people in my area sign up with them. It is such a great deal and they're so great!
Recent Review: Everything went great. I got the system a few days later and started to install it. All the devices were easy to put up all told it took about 45 minutes to get up and running. During the install I set the alarm off and Getsafe called me right away. I like the way it looks in my home and by that I mean I hardly notice it is there. I like being able to control the system from my phone and being able to check on my house with the camera when I am away.
Recent Review: It started with the name Pinnacle. It started going downhill maybe when somebody else bought it. My husband picked them. He had a cold call and then he went with it. I think we had another system at that time.

Ordering the system through Angie's List was easy and saved a lot of money. The system arrived quickly and was easy to install. I later ordered an addition motion detector direct from Simplisafe; this order was processed quickly and easily. The whole system works quite well.

I have no issues with the actual security system Vivint (originally APX) installed in my home in 2010. The system itself is excellent. However, if something goes wrong with the system that requires a Tech to be sent to my home, Vivint is beyond lacking. The first available Tech could be scheduled for October 1. Over a month away and without home security for that month as the issue prevented me from arming my system. After lengthy phone conversations, I discovered that Vivint has no physical presence in Chattanooga. The Tech must come from either Nashville or Atlanta and the Tech would have to be sent outside of normal business hours because it required travel time expense and overtime and a Tech would select that assignment because of the overtime he would receive. When I pointed out I could have a different company install home security long before October 1 they told me my three year contract wasn't over. They pointed out that this would be a breach of my contract and the only way out was either to have another security company buy out the contract or pay for the whole contract which would be overt $1300. Vivent was not willing to acknowledge that I contracted with them to provide home security and not being able to provide that for over a month was in itself a breach of the contract on their part. I dug out the confirmation of the last contract renewal and discovered I had renewed for only TWO years, not a THREE as Vivent claimed. I bit the bullet. I paid Vivent $765 to get out of the contract. Unless and until Vivent sets up some sort of Tech support in Chattanooga, I would avoid allowing them to be your home security provider in spite of how good the system is. They are the WORST!

Installation was easy. We called SimpliSafe for help a few times. They knew their equipment and quickly helped problem solve. We bought and installed this system in our daughter and son in law's home. They have used the system for over a year now. Billing was exactly as described in advertisements with no hidden fees added. All has gone very well. We would definitely purchase again.

I think the sub installation process and the low contract there is no contract just really month to month thing.

No details to give since I never heard back from them. I was not interested enough to call them directly. I just went with another security system provider instead.

I've always liked my security company to be local and this was further out of the area. They wanted me to sign a contract and I was not sure if I wanted to. I did not have a contract with the local company. They wanted to come out and change my system over to their system. He came out and said that my panels were too old. He said that they would have to switch them out, and that would have required a lot of work and painting to the walls. Then they said another company was going to come out and look at my system. I had two cameras out. They said they could only fix one and charged $85. When they left both cameras were still not working. I called them. Another 6 weeks went by. I said I do not want to use your service (this was on Feb 17). I already had paid for 3 months and that $85. By this point I had found another company that could use the system. They told me they could repair my camera. Then Loud sent me a bill for three more months. I called them and said I had cancelled earlier. They said I cannot cancel because I am under contract. I told them I am not under contract. The owner started yelling at me, talking about her personal life, and saying that I needed to pay for my service. Everytime I have called her she starts screaming at me.

I called the company and spoke with an excellent customer service representative to configure a system. The security system is self installed and wireless which is a big plus. The system was shipped out to me but I have not installed it yet. I am well pleased with the services so far.
