Recent Review: So far, we have a good experience with them. Everything they have done so far has been satisfactory and they seem to be well to bend over because we made a couple of changes since we started and they were very cooperative in that. The project is a little bit behind because of the weather but they are doing their best. They are a good option for pools.

Recent Review: My family and I hired Dolphin Pools to design a in-ground pool for us in April 2016. The staff and Crews were absolutely amazing. The owner created an affordable unique design for our pool after going over several options with us. The process was very smooth. Our pool was ready to swim in and delivered as promised. What amazed us most was the Stamped Concrete. We wasn't sure if we'd be happy with it but the end results "wow" blew us away. We Thank you Dolphin Pools for an outstanding installation. This is the Best thing we could of done to add years of family pleasure year after year.

Recent Review: My wife and I can?t say enough great things about our building experience with ALOHA POOLS. Below is a good summary of why we?re such huge fans of ALOHA POOLS (but we encourage you to look us up in the phone book if you want to hear more!): 1) ALOHA POOLS always does what they say they?re going to do: I know that this probably sounds like a rather simplistic compliment, but it is the most comprehensively positive and sincere assessment that I can imagine, and it?s also the thing that differentiates Aloha from the other pool contractors with whom we met. I was fortunate in that I already personally knew 2 other people for whom Aloha had built a great pool?and our experience was exactly the same as theirs: Their crews were always on schedule, and they built us the pool of our dreams at the price they committed to (even when that meant eating some significant overages when concrete prices unexpectedly soared after we broke ground!). In short, though, I recommend that you ALWAYS call the contractor?s references and visit their work?some builders think that simply having a long list of references is a way to ?Wow!? you into not actually calling around. If you actually call people, you?ll be stunned at what you learn! Doing what one says one will do is NOT a common trait among pool builders, but my wife and I agree that it is ALOHA?s hallmark! 2) ALOHA uses GREAT subcontractors: No matter what company you use, you?re going to have some subs on the job at the various construction stages. Aloha always hires crews that are highly-skilled, but also that are nice people. Just as one example, every crew we had worked really hard not to trash our yard any more than necessary, and every crew (right down to the stone masons) had English-speakers and a foreman with whom we could always easily communicate. More than that, though, every crew was just through and through ?nice.? Aloha?s owner, Dean, is openly and obviously Christian, and I believe that shows through in every aspect of the way he runs Aloha?right down to the crews they use when they sub out a job. 3) ALOHA listened to us, and built a pool that would fit our goals/needs and our budget: Even though we were pool novices and didn?t really have a clue about what we really wanted/needed at the time, ALOHA helped us design a pool to fit our goals/needs. We worked closely with both Dean and Tim throughout the process (I hear they now also have another full-time super), and really felt like Aloha had our best interests at heart every step of the way. Buying a pool changed the way our family spends time together, and Aloha?s ability to listen to our questions/concerns/needs, their attention to detail, and the kid-friendly design features they helped us install were a huge part of getting such a great end result. As a result, the owner, Dean, is not just a contractor who came in/out of our lives 5 years ago -- he?s somebody we care about personally ,and someone with whom we still stay in touch. Should we ever decide to move, my wife and I have joked that a call to Aloha will be one of the very first we make! 4) ALOHA POOLS? pricing was very fair, and they were very reasonable with us when we made ?real time? modifications to the design: As others have noted, it can be tough to truly get an ?Apples to Apples? quote from different companies when their designs are different, especially when you?re new to the whole arena and don?t know the difference between filtration system types, etc?I?m anal retentive that way, though, and did my homework, right down to sizing the amount of concrete used in each design (yes, I?m that crazy!)?and suffice it to say that I am very confident that Aloha?s pricing was right on the money?.In particular, they used top-notch, properly sized, pool equipment, and didn?t chintz on the amount of decking, the two areas of pressure that I found were usually the ?first to go? when other companies were trying to get their bid prices down. 5) ALOHA has always been very responsive on our warranty/maintenance questions: Let?s face it, a pool is a big investment, and, if you?re a novice to pools I can guarantee you that *something* will go wrong at some point with the system leaving you in a panic? In our case, over the past five years we?ve had a complicated waterfall and fountain setup that the subcontractor had to replumb in order to get the visual effect we wanted, and we needed a fair bit of handholding to get our water balanced initially, and our filters? plastic casing cracked a few years ago, and our heater?s thermometer went out before a party, and we recently had some light bulbs that needed replacing,?and?and? Every time, though, Aloha?s team has always been readily available to step us through the problem, either over the phone (immediately) or in person (soon thereafter), as we needed. 6) The guy who sells you the pool is actually there to help build the pool: Unlike the National companies that send out a very nice salesperson who can design/draw a pretty looking pool on paper, but who?s never really built a pool in her life, ALOHA is a run by an owner/designer/builder, and they make sure that the guy who helps you design the pool is also the guy who?ll be helping build it?We had a really tough back yard (and I knew it would be), so I ?knew? Aloha was the right builder for us when the designer/super/?salesperson? absolutely refused to talk to us about a design until he had spent over an hour in the back yard, shooting elevations and assessing what he really had to work with?as a result, when Aloha laid out a design for us over the next few days, we all KNEW it would work?I slept well at night knowing that there weren?t going to be any surprises wherein the construction crew told me that ?Well, that design looks pretty on paper, but?? In interviewing other pool companies, my wife and I were struck by how virtually every representative had a clear and strong bias/flair towards either great design or solid construction. Aloha was the ONLY company we met with that appealled to us along both dimensions, presenting us with a beautiful, yet practical, design, at a reasonable cost. We found that you don't have to sacrifice design to get a reasonable price, and you don't have to sacrifice quality to get a personable builder. In short, if you have anything other than a simple, flat back yard with absolutely no hidden granite, and/or if you have a desire for anything other than a basic rectangular design, do yourself the favor of going with a contractor like ALOHA, where there?s a seamless link between the design and build sides of the business! In sum, we couldn?t be happier with the choice we made! Brian and Beth Lambert Charlotte, NC

Reviews in Tega Cay to Install Hot Tub

AMister Spas
You are never sure what you are going to get when you request spa service. With Mister Spas, I got professionalism and a company that stood behind their work. I had interactions with Kevin Glunt, Owner, and Marcus over the phone. Ray was the technician, and he was awesome! Long story short, the spa breaker wouldn't hold following a cleaning. I called an electrician who ruled out the breaker. Mister Spas came out, diagnosed the issue as the heating element and fixed it in an hour. Mister Spas left. After warming the tub and turning on all jets full blast, the breaker blew again. Mister Spas came back out, and replaced the heating element again. But this time, one of the shut-off valves in the old tub pipes failed closed. Ray cut out the valve and replaced the piping. After all of this, Kevin Glunt was very fair in his pricing. It is so nice to work with professionals that stand behind their work and are fair, punctual and responsible!

AJ And J Spa Services
Our hot tub was slowly loosing water. Previously, we had another Hot Tub Repair Service come out. They felt confident that the reason the hot tub was loosing water was due to a crack in one of the plumbing pipes. That said, they said they would be back to fix but never showed after 1 month. So, after discovering J & J Spa Services on Angie's List and reading such positive reviews, we contacted J & J Spa Services, who quickly got us scheduled. Upon their arrival, I shared the previous "diagnosis". They professionally took that into consideration but quickly determined based on their own diagnosis that the small leak was in fact due to a loose motor plate/fitting, which they repaired quickly on the spot. Great job...very pleased and won't hesitate to call them again for any future hot tub needs!!!

The showroom was being constructed so we had to see the model in the storage room but it looked great. We also consulted the Master Spa web site. This hot tub is amazing. It has 80 jets, 3 pumps, lights, cover, and a waterfall. This is the best hot tub we have every owned. This hot tub is great for people with arthritis. Scott at Backyard Adventures of Charlotte was very knowledgeable about spas and recommended this brand due to the extra jets and pumps. There was a minor hitch with the installation but the crew came back the next day to complete the installation. They did not leave until the job was complete.

He was very professional and knew what he was talking about. He could not service my hot tub so I did not end using the deal, but I would recommend him.

AWhite Electric Company Of Charlotte, LLC
John White was terrific. Out hot tub breaker wouldn't reset and I asked John to have a look to see if it was an electrical or mechanical issue. All of our interactions were over the phone and via text (including sending pictures of the breaker). I never felt uncertain and always felt I was in expert hands. John walked me through any potential issues that I might be able to solve on my own before scheduling a visit. He came to our house twice to diagnose the issue and was very fair in his pricing given that the issue was mechanical and required a spa expert. If I have future electrical needs, my first call will be to John White at White Electric.

This is an outstanding company that has provided top notch service and products.  I purchased a hot tub from Mister Spas three years ago and have enjoyed the spa they recommended and appreciate the prompt service they have provided. They even moved the spa for me for a reasonable fee when I purchased a new home. I highly recommend Mister Spas.

BFun Outdoor Living Inc
This was the second hot tub we purchased from Fun Outdoor Living as we loved the Pinnacle spa.  The sales process was friendly (Andre) and we felt like we got a great deal.  However, the after-sale service was a little frustrating.  The company drops off the tub and relies on their recommended electrician to provide the hot tub orientation (electrician does great work and is reasonably priced).  The electrician walked us through key items to remember and do once the hot tub was filled.  However, after following the steps we had continuous issues with getting the hot tub clear and chemicals balanced for the next month.  When calling the office, the representative told us to drain the tub and add some new chemicals or call the Pinnacle spa help line for further issues (FYI - called the helpline, left two messages, and never received a response).  We were told we would be charged a fee to come out (granted this is within 30 days of dropping off the tub) since it wasn't considered a warranty issue and Fun Outdoor doesn't offer chemical supplies or water maintenance.  After spending over $100 on chemicals and researching the issue on Google, we determined our water had too much metal in it.  The owner at a different hot tub company locally was extremely helpful, taking the time to test our water (for free), recommend the right chemicals, and validate some of the things we found on Google.  Now, after 4 months of having the hot tub, we still love the Pinnacle spa and the water is balanced (had to buy a permanent filter addition to remove water hardness and metals).  It does help to educate yourself on hot tubs as they are not the easiest to maintain or understand.  Upon expressing some concerns on the service, Andre personally called and apologized and noted this is not the service level to be expected.  We will continue to go through Fun Outdoor for our service needs as they do understand the product the best.

AJ And J Spa Services
I had been searching for someone to work on my hot tub and it seemed everytime I setup an appointment they either didn't show up or canceled, OR didn't work on my name brand tub. I finally contacted J and J Spa Repair and they came out within a day or so. He didn't have a problem working on my Coast spa where others 'ran' from it. Most just didn't want to deal with having to call Canada about repair or parts. Jason was very honest and was a very detailed repair guy. His father works with him and both were very pleasant to work with. The most important part is, that they knew what they were doing. I'm so happy to have my hot tub repaired and in better working condition that it was previously! I would definitely recommend these guys!
