Worst experience with a repair company EVER. Refrigerator died 5/14/18. Called Appliance Medic, they came out that day. Gavin, the repair tech said we needed to have a control board replaced, and I had to pay for the part and installation now. I paid the $340 for the part and repair, Gavin said they would order the part, usually takes 2 days to ship, but they should be able to priority ship the part, should be done by Friday. I called Kevin on Wednesday, no returned call. Called Kevin again Thursday, he finally called back with an attitude, seemingly mad at me for calling. He claimed the part was being shipped that day, and it should be in by Tuesday (It’s clear that they did not prioritize ordering my part right away). Part came in Tuesday, I called Kevin multiple times throughout the day for an estimated time. He did not return any of the calls. Gavin called at 5pm Tuesday and said he could not put it in, that he was 45 minutes away. After many calls, with no call-backs, it became clear to me that they had my money, and THEY WERE PRIORITIZING ANY NEW BUSINESS CALL THAT CAME IN AHEAD OF MY REPAIR. At that point I was done with their lying and horrendous service. I left another message that I was cancelling them and contesting my payment with my credit card. Long story short, I ordered the part from AppliancePros.com at 2pm Wednesday, had it delivered overnight, received it by 3:30pm Thursday and had it installed by 4pm – the day before Memorial Day weekend – 11 days after I contacted this horrible company. 2 days later, Gavin sends me a message that they would come out the day after Memorial Day – 15 days after original contact – what a horribly run company with NO interest in service. They lied to me, they treated me poorly, and they dropped me to the bottom of their priority list as soon as they had my money. My opinion, liars and frauds. Best advice I can give is STAY AWAY, call anyone else.
