Business Description: Our motto, "Quality Work at Affordable Prices" is also our mission. We give free, no presure estimates. We stand behind our work. We do use sub contractors, however, we do not bid out the jobs. We use crews we know and have worked with before to insure the jobs are done correctly.

Recent Review: Not only did they have to remove the old door they also had to cut the opening bigger to fit the new door. When installing the new door it was realized that we had been sold two left sided doors. This could not be handled by just a flip of the doors because I had specifically ordered doors with the blinds in between the panes of glass. So the workers had to go back to the store and exchange the door and then resume the work. This delayed their work a bit but they continued on and they were very professional about it. They were punctual and did what was quoted including all the painting and clean up. I will without a doubt use Bradley Construction again.

Recent Review: Did a great job. The crew was very nice and respectful. You hardly knew they were in the house except the fact that some of the furniture had to be moved out of the way. Completed the job before beginning another. Did a good job withe the sheet rock. Finished the job quickly. I would recommend Five Star Windows and Remodeling. We are contemplating more work and remodeling and will call Bryan Murray first.

Recent Review: I contacted Butch to install retractable screens for our double front door. He came right out and talked with us, measured and told us about the options. He and his son, Matt came back a few days later and installed the doors. We are thrilled and can't wait until the weather is cooler so that we can use the screens and get some fresh air in the house. While they were here, I asked Butch if he worked on sliding glass doors. He told me that he would take a look at them. These doors are 50 years old. There are 5 of them and each is 4 feet wide. Each door weighs at least 200 lbs. The weight of the doors had caused the wheels to totally wear away and the doors were very difficult to open. We have had 3 other people look at these doors and they all said that the doors couldn't be fixed. The wheel assembly for the doors were no longer available, but Butch knew where to look. He knew about a dealer in California, so he took a photo of the wheels that he had removed from our door along with the measurements and sent them to his contact in California. In just about 10 days he had wheels that we all "hoped" would work. They did! He replaced the wheels on that one door and cleaned the track. He could push that door open with one finger. You should see it glide! He ordered the wheels for the other doors and today, he and Matt came out and fixed the other doors. Now, we can open the doors when we want to go outside, instead of going out the other door and walking around the house. Butch and Matt are the most dependable, conscientious people we have had working on our house. They ALWAYS call to let us know what's going on, if they are going to be a few minutes late and when they are on the way. I haven't ever worked with anyone who has as much integrity as these two. I wish I could hire them to lay tile and fix my plumbing because I would hire them instantly without hesitation! I will, of course, hire them again.

Recent Review: When I decided that I needed to replace some windows and doors that were old and had lost theri insulating seal I called Southern Vinyl on the basis of a recommendation of one of my neighbors and the good reviews I had heard from others. I called in to order the windows and doors and indicated that I had carefully done the measuring, however , they said it was company policy that they send out a rep to do the measuring. Their rep Lamar, came out on March 10th and did the measurments and showed me some samples of the doors and windows which was very helpful. He called in the order and informed me that if the windows and doors were in stock i could get them installed in about 2-3 weeks, but if not that it would take from 4-6 weeks. I would receive a confrimation call from the office on the availability and actual install date. I received a call within a few hours, saying that the windows would have to be made and that would take up to 6 weeks but usually it was much sooner. I was fine the that and I would receive a call when the windows and doors were in to schedule the install date. On about April 29th I got the call and the install was scheduled for May 2nd in the morning. On May 2nd they arrived as promised, went immediately to work removing the old windows and sliding doors, however when they measured the opening for the French Doors they found that the rep had apparently measured them wrong. They immediately called the office and informed them of the mistake and told me the office was going to see if they could find another set of french doors the right size...they did not and said they would have to re-make a set of french doors which would take another 6 weeks possibly. They apologized profusely and completed the install of the 2 new bay windows and did a beautiful job. Meanwhile the office informed me that they might hopefully find a set the right size sooner. they did not and so I was left with a 6' x 6' opening in my home! They did return the next day and covered it with plywood temporarily On June 11th the new doors came in and they came out and installed them without incident. I figured that due to the long inconvenience of no doors and the gaping hole left in my home for 6 weeks that I ethey would offer me a discount on the job....Not SO! ... I called the office and after a somewhat lengthy discussion they did give me $200 off the final bill. the workers who installed the windows and doors were fantastic, quick, neat clean and did excellent work. But when you pay that kind of money for 2 windows and a set of French doors, I don't expect errors like that...

Recent Review: We were extremely pleased with Charlie and his highly professional team at Precision Carpentry & Plumbing LLC, who did the most wonderful job creating a superb In-Law suite and converting other home space into a beautiful master bathroom and bedroom. We had purchased new construction which had the potential to give my wife and I a downstairs Inlaw suite adjacent the primary house, which our daughter and son-in-law's family would live in, and to and also turn an unfinished space upstairs into a huge second master suite with bedroom and bathroom. The potential was there, but finding the right company to help us was paramount to making this project successful. We talked to several, but selected Precision Carpentry & Plumbing from Angie's List, because we could tell they were experienced, and wouldn't cut corners, and had reasonable prices (they did not disappoint). While all the other companies would give us a extremely brief description of what they would do (or simply give us a single price quote), Charlie and his associate Joedy spent the time up front (at their own expense) to provide us a detailed breakdown of all aspects of the job, including all individual costs, in an Excel spreadsheet. That gave us the ability to tweak the work, deciding where we could save money with other alternatives. We could also pick our own materials, or buy them ourselves. They started by covering all the lower level hardwood flooring and stairway with Ram Board protective sheeting, so nothing would get damaged. They also added it later as they put in new flooring. They cleaned up after themselves each day, and never left a mess anywhere. We didn't even need a dumpster, because they would take away debris regularly. Downstairs, they took down a wall between a front room "library" and a huge walk in closet, adding a header beam for support, and turned that closet into a fully functional Kitchen, with all the normal full sized appliances. That included tapping into the adjacent bathroom plumbing and removing some concrete (from the slab foundation) to add provide a sink, dishwasher and disposal in our new Kitchen (the house now has two full kitchens). They wired all the electrical, adding a separate breaker box, which had to tie into the original, and re-directed all the HVAC ductwork. They did the complete job, including framing, sheetrock (and finishing) custom cabinetry, replacing the flooring, adding the granite counter and backsplash and topped it off with adding crown molding to both the new living room and kitchen. They even replaced a window in the master bedroom with a sliding door (which we purchased ourselves), and sectioned off the area from the main house (going into the original master bedroom), turning an entrance way into the bedroom, into a small closet. Finally they added a door between the existing hallway, and the garage, which happened to have a third car port, and provided us with our own entrance, all on the same lower level. Upstairs there was an unfinished space in the attic area that was supposedly for a 6th bedroom, but had ductwork running throughout the space. Adjacent to that was a small finished bedroom. Charlie's team converted that bedroom into a master bathroom, and finished off the bedroom, beefing up the floor joists and adding the proper ceiling joists, and refinished the ceiling beneath where they were working (our In-law living room), where any nails may have popped. They found an elegant way to tie into the existing house plumbing in order to add a shower, dual sink vanity and a toilet (room). They laid the tile we purchased ourselves and created a walk-in closet to our specifications, and of course handled all the electrical and HVAC requirements (after verifying our system could handle the new space). All in all we were extremely pleased. Not only did Charlie stand behind all his work, he took care of all the permits and had everything inspected multiple times. We received weekly updates to the spreadsheet, showing what was worked on, and only paid for what was done each week. Their workmanship was supreme, and their carpentry work, including the detailed finishes is second to none. We are so pleased, as we now have a beautiful multi-generational home, where our family can live together in harmony, but also with our individual space. Thank you Charlie!

Recent Review: Joe called within 24 hours of placing the request on the website. He came when he said he would. Price was reasonalbe and worked diligently until work was done. At one point we had to leave the home while another vendor was here and Joe was willing to stay and lock up when they were done - my husband trusted him enough to do this even though we had only known him for two days. Would definitly use him again and plan to!

Recent Review: It went very well. Mike is conscientious about his work. He finds ways to make repairs as budget friendly as possible. He answers messages promptly and worked with me to get things repaired the way that I wanted. He didn't mind my unruly pack of dogs and I felt comfortable having him in my house. He seems like an honest man, who does honest work and enjoys helping people. Plan on hiring him again in the future.
