Recent Review: My wife and I are delighted with the entire team at YRP.  The sales process was thorough and there were no surprises from the initial discussion through to contract.  The construction team was conscientious, thorough, and pleasant.  We were fortunate with the weather during construction and the project finished several weeks ahead of schedule.  Nick Fasciano was our sales contact and I would recommend talking with Nick if you are considering a pool in this area. We used YRP to service our pool at our last house and was happy with the service.  We have signed on with YRP to do the weekly service with our new pool and hope to be as happy with our service as we were with the construction.

Recent Review: They were great.  A friend recommended them to us.  They were cheaper than another quote I had.  I don’t remember how much I paid them.  They were really good.  I did not have any trouble with them.  I just called them and they came.  I rate them high overall.

Recent Review: After going against my own gut feeling and going with a pool company I had been dealing with, we went with my husband's choice instead. Already regretting the decision. We needed a pool liner replaced and I interviewed 3 companies. My husband felt that Max from Champion Pools knew his stuff and felt confident that he would do a good job. We were told that the pool liner could take about 2 weeks to come in after it was ordered. After waiting 5 weeks, he finally came and started work on our pool. What we were told would be a one day job, turned into three, and the process was nothing like the plan he had explained to my husband. I didn't so much care about the time involved in getting it done as long as it was done right. He finished the pool, left all the trash from the job outside the yard fence and was gone. I tried to turn on the Polaris to clean the pool and water began shooting out from behind the gasket and in turn behind the wall of the pool. I'm not a mechanic or pool specialist, but I don't think that's good. I was told by my pool maintenance man that Champion Pools has had many complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau (shame on me for not checking there first) and he'd never come back out to repair any problems. Yep, he was right. Now we're into June with 2 small children begging every day to get into the pool. Still waiting to hear from Max!

FASP - America's Swimming Pool Co Savannah
I was promised that the project would be done immediately-the next day or so. The woman I spoke to had to talk to her boss. She was sure it would be done within the week. I called a second time when we heard nothing, and again was promised that the work would be done in a day or two. Then, radio silence. No one called, no one came. So unprofessional. If you can't or don't want to do the work, just tell us-don't promise service and then just evaporate into thin air. Could not recommend to anyone. Don't believe their promises!

ACrystal Clear Pools of Charleston
We are thrilled! We signed the contract on Saturday morning and the work begin the following Monday. Our contract stated they would finish by January 7th. The pool was completed on December 20th. Kevin Mock was our project manager. He did an outstanding job every step of the way and our new pool is gorgeous. Our home is on the ocean with the pool literally 25 yards from the sea. Winter conditions made this build difficult but Kevin and his crew labored on. After the pool was complete, Kevin came back daily to check on the maintenance. His service was beyond anything we expected. Rebuilding from a hurricane is not easy. Of all the sub contractors we hired, Crystal Clear Polls was far and away the best. I can't sing their praises enough!

We contacted Demetri in May 2011 (email dated 5/10/2011)  and sent pictures of cracks in the tile coping around the pool.  Large chunks of the tile had come loose and fallen into the pool. (Pictures are below)  They did not respond.  I have emails dated July 27, 2011 and August 3, 2011 where we are respectfully requesting that they come and look at the damage.  Finally in late August, Demetri himself came to inspect the pool.  He looked at the breaks and cracks  in the tiles and admitted that his company had bought and installed faulty product. He said that the tile was defective.  He said that he had had trouble with this particular tile.  It was from Australia and had not performed as he had expected.  He said he needed to think about what to do because if he replaced someof the tiles it would cause stress in other places and crack those.  He did not get back to us.  We contacted him several times with no response.  Finally in the Spring of 2012 He sent one of his men to reinspect the tile.  There were numerous other stress fractures in the tile and other chunks had fallen off into the pool because the cracks were parallel to the pool edge.  The man said he would get back to us.  We called several more times and finally got a response that was essentially we were not to bother him because it was not his responsibility, because the contract has fine print that legally excludes him from having to do anything.  A concrete expert looked at the work around the pool and said that it looked to him that the concrete deck was not right and was in fact not actually finished correctly which stressed the coping. I have tried to work with Architectural Pools and have I asked them with kindness and courtesy many times to make their work good.   I also provided many pictures so Demetre could see the progression of the disaster they built.  I'M GOING TO TRY TO ATTACH PICTURES TO THIS SO YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN JUDGMENT. I may not be able to LEGALLY get Architectural Pools to stand by what they build ,but the public needs to know about this.  It does not seem right that defective materials can be used in making a product and then the contractor is not liable because the defect shows up after a short warranty period.  One should expect that a swimming pool receiving normal use should not have its edge cracking off and falling into the pool after only a couple of years.  If this is what Demetri is saying should be expected of his pools, then you will want to know this before you contract him to build yours.  We have been respectful and kind in our asking him to make good his work, and have been rebuffed and lately received an email in which he declares that we are not his customer (as if he did not do the work) and threatens us with a lawsuit  if we do not stop telling people this is his work.  (He copied the email to his lawyer!)  Sadly, it is his work.  We are willing to make all of these documents available as needed.
