Recent Review: Chris Bailey responded to my phonecall right away and came by for an estimate that very same evening. Since this was an insurance claim we had to what for the money to arrive. After that was settled Mr. Bailey started the work and finished it on time. Mr. Bailey is very reliable and punctual. Working with Mr. Bailey was a enjoyable experience and we would definitely use him again.
Recent Review: Mr. Johnson came out as promised each day, usually arriving at least ten minutes prior to the scheduled time. He walked through every step of the process with me, informing me at the end of each day's work as to his progress and detailing what he planned to accomplish the following day. He was respectful of my time and my space, making sure not to inconvenience me more than was absolutely necessary. There were drop cloths and plastic covering everything. Before he left the last time he asked me again to check behind him and make sure it looked the way I wanted it to. He asked that if I had a problem with him or the work at anytime would I please call the company or him personally and he would come right back out and fix the problem. His comment was that he knew I would have people over who would know I had the work done and he wanted me to be able to say I was happy, his work would stand as his advertisement. I got his business card to pass along to others!

Recent Review: The work was expertly and professionally done. We are so pleased with the quality of work and the prompt service, we are expecting to hire this company for future painting projects within our home. I would highly recommend this company for anyone looking for a reliable and proficient contractor to get the work done with exceptional attention to detail.
Steve started the work one day after giving me the quote and the work went excellent. He removed all the wet drywall off the floor and then took down the rest of the drywall from the ceiling. Later the same day he started putting back new drywall. The next day he covered the nail heads and seams with putty and tape. He came back two more days to put the second and third coats of putty on the drywall. And then he painted the ceiling. He even saved me money by re-using the molding that he had taken down carefully without breaking any of it. He then cleaned up after himself hauling away the drywall and then sweeping and vacuuming the floor. I would gladly recommend Steve to anyone and I have already.

Very responsive and pleasant. As honest as you will find and very reasonable. After I had removed some tile from my kitchen wall, I had large pieces of drywall missing and damaged. Mr Fore came in and evened the damaged edges, replaced the drywall, and finished the job very professionally.

Over the years as the house had settled, the dry wall joints were pulling apart leaving visible cracks in the drywall. Mike, the individual who did the repair came out looked the project over, give me a reasonable price for the repairs which I accepted. Mike was very professional in all that he did from the initial interview, to the actual work and clean-up. He has the best drywall and painting skills I have seen in many a year. He was very meticulous in each phase of the project from stabilizing the drywall sections, taping and refinishing the joints, and did an outstanding job of blending the newer paint in with the old. Outstanding cleanup. Would definitely use Viking Remodeling again.

Great - we needed the work done quickly and Avery fit us in and actually came to the house at 9 pm to get it started so it could be done in a couple of days. He finished the work on time and did a fantastic job. Very professional at a very reasonable price.

When I called to request a quote Michael was very friendly and professional. He showed up to do the estimate when he said he would. Upon agreeing to a price he got started right away and finished the job on time. The quality was impeccable and his ability to work in my home full of furniture and not make a mess was impressive. Would definitely use him again!

CFinishing Touch Unfauxgettable
Columbia Electric referred Finishing Touch to me. The electrician accidentally slipped on a joist in the attic and put his knee through the ceiling on a Monday. It was not until the following Wednesday Finishing Touch was able to get a gentleman out to make the repair. Once I was on the schedule, he was right on time (both times). Although he patched it, he did not patch it far enough and a hairline crack still runs in the ceiling (see picture). I also had to request he mud over the whole patch as it left a dip when a straight edge was placed next to it. The one gentleman said that you usually have dips in patches. Frankly, you don't when you know what you are doing. While he was here I arranged with the owner, Russ, to do some sanding and mudding on the walls, which I had already begun (I wanted to save myself some time on the bathroom renovation). I had to request his return because he failed to sand some areas and never mudded others that he had sanded. He did not dispose of the waste from the patch repair, but laid the broken pieces of drywall on the carpeted floor at the top of the steps in a pile (about a buckets worth). Granted, there were some unused parts of drywall sheets, but I found this unprofessional. He used a drop cloth, but after sanding he also failed to vacuum/sweep the dust from sanding and left it for me to clean. Overall, I feel I was an inconvenience for Finishing Touch and they were forced into this job due to their relationship with my electrician, and the effort to get me out of the way greatly impacted the quality of their work. In fact, the second time they were here I was not aware they had left (I was on the back porch). I heard their vehicles start and they were gone.

Brian was very professional and very responsive to my needs. Brian only does what you ask him to do and is always looking for ways to save the customer money without degrading the results. My job was very small but he was on time, explained all work, gave me advise on other unrelated tasks that I can do myself. When he showed up for the job he figured out that he could make some of the fixed easier and reduced my price by $200. Contractors take note about how a customer should be treated respectfully.

Very professional. He was very considerate of working in an interior space that had just been renovated and painted. Very quick and tidy.
