Recent Review: They did a beautiful job. We are especially impressed with the matching job they did installing around a center fireplace. As the weather changed, the floor buckled somewhat. We called them back twice and they came out quickly and did a fact efficient job. We are very pleased with the result. The floor is beautiful!

Recent Review: Rob was very attentive to my questions from start to finish and I really appreciated the customer service that was provided. The quality of the material is great and looks wonderful; we have gotten many compliments from friends and family. The work was done in one day and there was no mess left behind. We will definitely use them again for new carpet in our bedrooms.

Recent Review: Beautiful product, good prices. Only issue was a delay in shipping of several weeks due to inventory. This delay caused issues with scheduling on a whole-house renovation and it would have been quite useful to know about upfront, rather than having to call them repeatedly for updates. When the flooring finally arrived, weeks late, it was beautiful and in very good shape. I would use them again, but I would order much earlier than needed to allow for any delays.

Recent Review: We had purchased laminate flooring from Abbey Carpet & Interiors a few years back, which I installed myself, and were happy with the experience so we decided to use them again when we recently decided to re-carpet our living and dining rooms.  The salesman, Bob, was very helpful and patient as we went through several weeks of carrying samples back and forth trying to decide what looked best to us.  There was never any pressure or impatience on Bob's part and we really struggled over the various samples. Eventually we decided to go with laminate again and quickly found the flooring we wanted.  The store was able to schedule an installation time to fit our needs and the installation itself began on time and went quickly even though the installation team had to move furniture back and forth as we really didn't have room anywhere else in the house.  After the install was finished we noticed a few dips and peaks and called it to the installers (Candido's) attention.  He said that since the floor was a poured slab there were imperfections that would not have been noticed with carpet and he suggested that we give it a few days to settle in and call them if we felt there was a problem. The unevenness became more noticeable over time and we called the store and asked if someone could stop by and take a look.  The owner, Subhash, arrived and agreed that the result was not really satisfactory; determining the state of the subfloor had apparently been impacted by not being able to see the entire floor at once due to juggling the furniture.  With barely any prompting on our part he agreed to have the installers come back out and perform some leveling and re-lay the flooring. The installation team came back on a Thursday and pulled up all of the flooring in the living room (the dining room was OK and we were able to move the furniture there), poured leveling compound and told us they would check the next day to see if they could re-lay the floor.  Subhash stopped by Friday morning to test the moisture and said that it would be best to give it another day to let it cure rather than rush and end up with problems later.  We agreed although we were pretty anxious to get things settled down again. Candido arrived on Saturday (by himself as his partner was ill), smoothed the leveling compound, vacuumed and laid a new vapor barrier over the floor.  He completed the replacement of the flooring around 1:30.  Subhash stopped by to make sure we were happy with the results, which we were, the floor is perfect now. In short I don't know how these could have been nicer, more professional people to deal with.  Obviously if the problem with the evenness of the sub-floor had been discovered earlier in the process we might have avoided some additional disruption but their response to the situation was above and beyond what is expected now days.  There were no added charges for the additional materials and labor, their main concern was that we were satisfied with the results, not once was there any question that they wanted to do the best job possible. We did not do a lot of price comparison shopping before going to Abbey Carpet so I really don't know if we could have gotten the job done less expensively but I do know that we could not have picked a company with nicer, more professional employees.  We would use them again without hesitation.  They have a testimonial page on the site that indicates we are not the only folks who have been impressed.

Recent Review: Trey was our contact person from beginning to end of our project. We picked out the flooring, he gave us a sample to take home to be sure it was what we wanted. From there, Trey came out and measured every room in our house for any future flooring we may have them do. The next week we went back to their store, paid half up front and set up an installation date. Trey called 3 or 4 days later to let me know the fooring was in. I had asked him to do this because I wanted to pick up the flooring myself and bring it into my house to let it acclimate to the temerature and humidity levels in my house. One week later, the installers showed up on time and went to work. These guys (2) are pros. They did an excellent job and did it quick. When they finished, they cleaned up every bit of trash and scrap leftover pieces. They vaccuumed the dust off of the floor and that was it. Job done. I moved my own furniture. I removed my old carpet, padding, staples and tack strip around the wall.

Start to finish Floor Boys did an excellent job for me. Brian and his wife were very knowledgeable and helped me select just the right flooring for different areas of my new home. Communication and coordination on the project went very well. All of the different installers were very professional and knowledgeable. I was impressed with the hardwood floor installers, especially Paul who took extra time to make sure the wood stain and other details were done to my satisfaction. Any time I had a question or concern Brian was available to answer and was willing and able to provide good solutions. I highly recommend Floor Boys I’m so glad I choose them for my flooring needs. I love my beautiful new floors!!

DCARPET ONE
They responded well initially. They installed the laminate flooring with the assurance that it could be changed out "for any reason"if we didn't like it within the first 120 days. The floor is uneven, with hollow spaces underneath where nothing was done to level the floor out prior to installation. We opted to remove it and upgrade to tile flooring instead. Carpet One, however, now states you can only trade out for another color of the same product! This is contrary to their verbal assurances. They will not honor what they said to me to entice me to buy the product. I have called and asked to speak with the manager multiple times. The manager has still never returned my calls.

Services included taking apart the damaged kitchen laminate flooring and installing the base for ceramic tile flooring, followed by installation of the new ceramic tile floor. The services were performed most professionally, cleanly, very punctually and I am totally satisfied with their work.

I was so impressed with this company! We had an urgent need... we moved back to our house after being away for three years with the Army. The tenants had left our master-bedroom carpet infested with fleas and covered with pet stains, and we only had a week or two to get it taken care of before our furniture arrived ! The Floor Boys were able to come out, give us a very reasonable estimate, and get the floor put in before the furniture came. The laminate floor looks beautiful and very nearly matches the hardwood floor in the rest of the house. We're very pleased!

It went very smooth. We had a water leak in our home and had to shop for new floors. My husband visited Floor Boys and met with Michael. Michael actually took the time THAT day to come out to do an estimate for us because he wanted to help us speed the process along due to our water leak. I called Michael numerous times after hours with questions and he was nothing but helpful and polite.  When the workers showed up to put the floor in, we were at work, but when I got home, they had over half the floors done and they were determined to get them done because they knew we had been walking on concrete floors due to the water leak. Workers were super polite and didn't let little things like my two dogs barking, and my 7 year old daughter walk up and down the hallway for a few things get them agitated!! The workers were nothing but polite to my family. If we had any questions they answered us right away and again......super polite!!!! My floors are completed and they look fantastic.  The price and quality of the customer service was all around an A+ for me. I will be recommending Floor Boys to everyone!!  AWESOME JOB FLOOR BOYS!!

AT & H Tileworks
We purchased the flooring through Floor Mart-West, Inc. in Lexington, South Carolina. T and H Tileworks Harold Vinson and Eric Smith) does installation for Floor Mart-West. When we asked for an estimate, Tammy, at Floor Mart - West advised she would have an employee out to do the estimate, but she believed that Mr. Vinson would probably respond because he liked to do his own measuring. Mr. Vinson did come to our house to do the measuring. Once we finalized the contract with Floor Mart-West, we were able to get a date for the work to be done. This was challenging as T and H Tileworks had other committments and we were leaving town for a week. We were able to get an installation date of March 17 and 18.....Tammy advised that it would most likely be a 2 day job. On March 17, Mr. Vinson and Mr. Smith arrived between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. just as we were told. They immediately went to work removing the old carpeting and they advised that they would dispose of the carpeting. My husband asked them to cut a large piece just in case we needed repair work later which they gladly did. They also questioned me as to which direction I wanted the wood to run and gave their expert opinion as to which way they felt would look the best. I followed their advice and am very happy I did. They worked all day on March 17 and returned the next morning to complete the job. They were finished by noon. When I went to inspect the job, it was wonderful. Not only had they done a great job on the installation, but they had cleaned up after themselves. I was very impressed that these gentlemen worked the whole time they were there. They were not stopping every 5 minutes to talk or text on their cellphones.
