Recent Review: 19/Total tear out of an old tub and installed  a new 5 foot shower stall.  Quality shower door and faux marble wall surrounds.  Also included a new shower valve, diverter, and trim.  Additionally, they had to re-position all light and fan switches.  Furthermore, there was the need for a custom design of the shower door frame to incorporate/avoid an existing window that was partially inside the shower.  All involved were exceptionally professional, from the owner of the company, their sales rep, and the guys that did the work.  Totally professional and left the bath and outside totally clean.  Highly recommend.

Recent Review: David was a pleasure to work with.  He was the only contractor who gave us an estimate according to what we wanted to do (We'd buy the materials.  All we wanted was an estimate for the labor and any other materials that might be needed.).  We scheduled a start date once we had a delivery date, but this date had to be delayed due to snow at the end of January.  David and his wife, Dee communicated well with us continually to make sure we knew the exact date David would start.  David showed up on the first day on time and got right to work.  Demo and  installation of the new bathroom, which included shower base and surround, shower door, tile floor, toilet, and light/fan fixture, was done professionally and efficiently, with cleanup occurring throughout the job to ensure none of the construction dust got into the rest of the house..  Throughout the project, David made some great suggestions on how to finish certain items and incorporated them into the project upon our approval.  David's price was extremely fair and his work is impeccable!  We highly recommend David for any project.  We are definitely going to contract with him again for other projects we have in store!

Recent Review: He spread his work over two sessions a few days apart.  The delay was mostly due to difficulty finding wood trim to match the rotten door jamb.  He ended up replacing all the trim around the entire door.  The final price covered about $100 in materials (which he spent his own time driving around to find and buy) and $420 for labor.  He set his estimated labor price before beginning the work -- and before he ran into trouble finding materials -- which reassured me that his fee for labor was more than fair.  We already had replacement ceramic tiles on hand; from now on, I'll always buy one more box of tiles than I actually need for exactly this reason.  Those tiles are almost ten years old; Brendan would have had a VERY hard time finding an exact match for them if I hadn't had already had spares.  He ran a little late on day two, and began work that day perhaps an hour later than planned.  I was home packing up the house anyway and didn't consider the wait a problem.  When I needed documentation of the repairs at closing, the folks at the office got it for me right away and emailed it to me.  I'm really happy with the quality of the work, its price, its accompanying guarantee, and the overall professionalism of the whole team.

Recent Review: Very well. All work was performed perfectly except for the back porch doors. They could not be fixed without further damage. We would need to purchase steel doors to replace them. We know this is correct because the person who I stalled the doors also struggled to fix the sag.

Recent Review: The job went very smoothly. The workmen showed up on time and were very professional. The job took about four days. While Mr. Freeman was not there all of the time, he did come each day to make sure that things were going well. The only glitch was a small leak under the shower door (the existing door was reinstalled). When I called Mr. Freeman he came the next day and took care of the problem. We were very satisfied with the work from start to finish. We paid a deposit when we signed the contract for the work. I was impressed that our check was not cashed until the work was actually started. We would certainly recommend Freeman Repair and Remodeling.

Recent Review: It went very well. The contractor found us a very reasonably priced piece of marble for the vanity counter top. The sinks, hardware, and counter top were installed as required, and have a marvelous look. The difficult job of removing all the old tile was completed. This included tile on the floor of the bathroom, tile on the walls and floor of the shower, and tile around the tub. The contractor was careful to take the old tile out of the house through a window so no mess would be left on the floor the the house. The new tile floor was installed professionally, with matching grout, which was sealed properly. The new fiberglass shower and glass shower doors were well installed, as was the new toilet. The owners of the house removed the old wallpaper, but needed help with repairing the drywall. The contractor did an excellent job of drywall repair. I would hire Superior Builders of Charleston again.

Other than his wife being pleasant on the phone during scheduling, everything went wrong. He didn't show up for an appointment and blamed me. Then, because I needed to get the work done before a tenant moved in and didn't have time to contract another company, I needed him to come out and do the work still. He sent in what his wife called their "best tile guy" and the grout was a mess and if I didn't oversee the job myself, it would have been much worse and the materials wouldn't have been what was quoted. The Shower door cost $100 to fix and failed in 2 weeks and he kept saying that he would go back and fix it and never did. I had to give up and call another company.

THE SHOWER WALLS ARE NOT PLUMB!!! I'm not sure how they managed to set the walls out of plumb, as this is very easy to avoid. This is causing problems as we attempt to have a shower door installed. Tile work is mediocre at best. Awful lippage on the wall tiles (12"x24" tiles). The shower does not drain properly from the corners not being built up enough. Drywall seams at the ceiling are uneven/sanded poorly. Bench seat was supposed to be replaced with granite similar to our wall tile but have not heard from contractor to do so. Did not enclose bottom of the bench, it is currently open wood. They sprayed a urethane sealant on it however we had requested it be enclosed. The last contact from this service was a message indicating they would have the seat (top, front, and bottom) in a week and requested the remaining balance owed which we paid. We chose a larger wall tile to cut down on the cost/difficulty to lay the tiles but the lippage is still an issue. We did not realize that the walls were out of plumb until the shower door installer came to measure the space. I have texted Dee, David's wife\office manager multiple times with no response regarding the walls being out of plumb.

At our initial meeting with Aaron to review our bathroom remodel, he was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly and had good suggestions.  His subs were all very nice and we felt comfortable having them in our home even when we were not there.  They were all pretty tidy in their work and took care to protect our wood floors while working.  In the middle of the project, we had our tub and surround tile resurfaced and glass shower doors installed by a separate contractors.  Aaron's guys took extra precautions while working around these new features so as not to cause them damage.  We really appreciated that!  While there were some minor bumps along the way in the project, Aaron was readily available to make sure his subs got everything completed to our satisfaction.  We really love our new bathroom and thank Aaron and his guys for doing a great job.
