Recent Review: The team worked at my house for 2 days.  Day one, the blew insulation in the 10" of insulation in my attic and began installing R19 insulation in the floorboards. Day two, they completed the R19 insulation and ran the aeroseal through the ducts.  The guys did a great job.  Cleaned up after themselves, which my wife really appreciated, and my power bill has gone down drastically.  Just to provide some prospective, my January power bill was $525 in a 1900 SF house!!!  Since Energy Sharks came, my power bill has been less than $130 each month.

Recent Review: We had a handyman over to do some work for us.  As a part of doing that, he discovered that our diningroom and laundry room areas had absolutely NO insulation above them (an attic-like area)  He "knew a guy" who came over and gave us a $1000 estimate.  That sounded nuts so I went to my favorite place (I should have gone to in the first place), Angie's List.  Bonham Insulating was listed with an "A" rating and was noted as giving a 10% discount over $500 to Angie's List customers.  I called and talked to the owner, Joe Klim.  He made an appointment to come over the next business day.  He looked everything over (I said I wanted to be sure that nothing was missed!) and we got a quote of $425.  I didn't bother giving him the 10% off coupon since it was well under $500 but I did tell him I got his name through Angie's List.  His crew arrived the next morning right at 8AM and were completely done in 40 minutes.  They asked about one other area they found at the very front of the house and, of course, I said sure... fill it!  There were three men in the crew.  They were very courteous and cleaned up after themselves.  The big surprise was the written bill... $425 less 42.50 (10%) for a final $382.50

Recent Review: I bought an old house (1940) and had it renovated. There was only 4-6 inches in part of the attic (parts had none) and the batts of insulation put under the house were installed on the wrong side. There was no insulation in the walls. I boiled last summer and froze this past winter. I had to do something before the summer heat was here again. I was very concerned about getting a good job and finding someone knowledgeable about insulating an old home. I still pinch myself because I really found the best person/company to do the job. Joe Scott, owner of Atwood & Son Insulation impressed me with his knowledge, experience and service right away. After meeting with several other people I chose Joe and I am so grateful. Atwood & Son did a superb job in every area of my home that needed insulation. Joe found several areas that had no insulation that I didn't know even existed in the roof area. He took out the bad stuff under the house and replaced it properly. Insulating the walls of an old home requires the special knowledge that Joe has acquired over 40 years and he know just what to do. The people who worked with him were terrific and they were all part of the family. They worked hard every minute, they cleaned and swept the work area constantly and were a real pleasure to deal with. I paid a fair price for a great job. Now that it is July I know that the work he did has made such a difference. Now when I go upstairs, instead of feeling hotter with every step, the temperature is pretty much the same as downstairs. The house feels cool and the heat pump isn't on all the time like last summer. If you are thinking about insulating anything it will make a difference if it is done correctly. Joe Scott of Atwood&Son Insulation is the person you should call.

Recent Review: Amazing! Truly amazing. The weather delayed their start for 2 days but when they were able to arrive on sight, they were like robots working! The work was excellent. Everybody worked and knew what they were doing. All workmen were polite - even took their shoes off when they came inside (when they were working on the windows). I would recommend this company in a heartbeat! They are fantastic!
