Recent Review: They were professional and responsive throughout the job. The workmanship was excellent. Kevin, the installer took great pride in doing the job right and it showed. Andrew, the project manager And sales consultant kept me up-to-date throughout the project and was very responsive to any questions or concerns I had. They both exceeded my expectations. Recent Review: This company installed our geothermal system about 4 years ago. It has been performing very well and our electricity bills reflect the energy savings of this system.  The office staff (Jamie) are always very polite and accommodating; they really listen to a report of the needs of the consumer and carefully relay that information to the technicians. I have found it very easy to schedule appointments, and the technicians have always been on time. Last fall when we had a glitch in our system, they also managed to get us an emergency appointment, within one day of our contacting them. Gavin, the technician, is always willing to explain how things work and is very patient in discussing the function of this slightly different HVAC system. He is obviously very knowledgeable about HVAC systems. He has been here a few times and it is very positive to have that consistency in service. All the technicians keep the floors and work areas clean. They also discuss what has been done and when the next service should be scheduled.  The company has maintenance agreements but do not "push" these on clients, which is nice. Overall, we are very pleased with the quality of products and service with Custom Climate.

Recent Review: The larger unit needed to be replaced and Pardee Service Experts arranged with the manufacturer (Water Furnace) to have a new 5-ton geothermal unit built and shipped from Ft Wayne, Indiana to Charleston, South Carolina. While the new unit was being assembled and shipped, the Pardee crew removed the old unit and prepared the area for the new unit. The entire process from ordering the unit to completing the installation took 6 days.

Recent Review: They sent the most experience person, Brian to smooth things over so I would like to retract the negative review that I wrote couple weeks ago. However I do have concerns about their AC supplier as the 'brand new' Goodman unit that was installed 2 years ago also had a defective part which had to be replaced. Being a loyal customer spending $20,000+ ( 3ACs, spray foam insulation to attic and plumbing)over the last 3 years with this company, this last issue was more than this old lady needed to experience! Thankful they came through with repair to this brand new Trane unit and fixed the other unit with discount. The plumbing work they have done for me has always been excellent. They are a family owned operation which is a plus, but may opt for geothermal if any more trouble!

Recent Review: I made contact with AirPlus and talked to John McMullen about a custon Air Conditioning/Heating system in a house I was planning to build in Hanahan.  We discussed the various options and after providing a copy of the plans, AirPlus provided an estimate for a full geothermal system, dual-fuel system and conventional system.  When the house plan changed, they promptly provided new estimates.  John was very informative and helpful throughout the entire process.  Since the project was coordinated a number of months ahead of the planned start date, he periodicly touched base with me and offered his assistance without being pushy.  I have postponed the project, but considered my experience with John and AirPlus as extremely positive.  I would highly recommend the AirPlus to anyone that asked me about a company to do an air conditioning or heating project.  I can't vouch for their actual work, but they will be the company I go to based on the excellent experience I had with them.

I engaged Emil about 18 months ago to provide a quote on our HVAC system (one of three units).  At that time he appeared responsive (yet, in reflecting back, it frequently took numerous attempts to contact him and so difficult to schedule, we had given him access to our house key).  He repaired unit one, and we were pleased. Then during a check of electrical connections on unit two (By Emil's employee), I observed and heard this unit go out.  Emil looked at it and assured me it was not his fault (I certainly don't know - but have remained suspicious).  Anyway, at that time I trusted Emil, and he quoted on a second unit, a dehumidifier,  and installation of NEST thermostats (I directly questioned him if he was familiar and knew how to install). PROBLEM 1).  He never hooked up the dehumidifier to the NEST, after telling me he had!!!  When I questioned him and pointed out that it wasn't connected, he explained that this dehumidifier was a two wire system and wouldn't connect to the NEST.  So I showed him the NEST instructions on how to connect a relay to make this connection.  Also, I arranged a call with the NEST technicians and the technician explained the process to Emil.  Emil said he would install the relay - but never has despite my numerous calls and emails. PROBLEM 2)  Now the second HVAC is vibrating horribly (the one just replaced)  It is uncomfortably loud and running hot. There is clearly a problem.  Emil has been informed of the problem and I have requested he come out and check the unit.  Because he had not responded to several contact attempts, I sent him an email (return receipt) and finally got a response. In early April 2016, Emil told me he got a new phone number and that must be the problem (funny, I looked at my records and noticed it is the same phone number).  Emil wanted me to first get our pipes flushed (these are geothermal units), which we did.  The pump man also noted the problem and called Emil and left a message that there was a problem (I overheard the message).  Since then I have emailed and called Emil that we need warranty work.  Absolutely no response!!!  I even told him I would explain this all on Angie's List and BBB - but again no response.
