Recent Review: My stove is an older model. The screws had rusted, making it more difficult to work on, but he handled it without a problem! I have a large family gathering planned at my home in a few days, he was very prompt in scheduling the repair.

ATHOMAS & SON APPLIANCE SVC
Mr Thomas showed up on time, was professional and very quick. He called a day ahead of time, got the model# and s/n of the oven, asked me what the problem was and showed up with 2 new spring assemblies to repair the oven door. Took him about 15 minutes to remove the door, disassemble, replace and reassemble everything. Great job and it works like new again. Very polie and knows what he's doing. Clean and repsectful of our home.

AThe Appliance Guys
We had previously called another repair service, and they had told us (without even coming out to see the stove!) that there was nothing more to be done, and that we would need to buy a new stove--surprise, surprise, from a company they work closely with. Fortunately, we called the Appliance Guys, and they estimated it would be an easy fix based on what we told them had happened. Today Matt came out and fixed the stove in about 20 minutes. He will come back a second time to install a part that is missing, but he got 3 out of 4 burners to work, and we will definitely be calling him in the future for similar repairs!

Although it was a tricky job to take apart the stove and install the new part, the job was done without problems. Both men were very polite and professional.

CMr Rogers Appliances & Dryer Vent Cleaning
Was not impressed. First call to company they took one day to call back. All calls to company automatically go to "all our service representatives are busy helping other customers, please hold, blah, blah, blah". No matter when you call this is what you get. There are 3-4 employees in company but you think you are getting a huge company. Had to request invoice be sent to my email, did not offer to send. will not use again.

FDecker Home Repairs LLC
asked Decker Home repairs for an estimate for many items. Decided to have them finish an install of a stove hood that W&G contractors / painters abandoned. After i called and advised i wanted to have the work done, it took close to 2 weeks for a return call with a date. 3 major issues that made me rate them with a "F". i was home when all the work was being done which I am so glad i was. This vent required a 7 inch duct since it was high performance. The installer (Joshua) went and purchased a 4 inch roof cap , had reduced the 7 inch pipe to 4 inch and was getting ready to install it on the roof when I questioned the reduction from 7 inch to 4 inch. He first said there was no 7 inch Duct available at Lowes. I told him it was a requirement to have a 7 inch pipe. He said he could not get one so 4inch was ok - and told me my hot water heater had a small pipe so it was ok that way with my exhaust too. I told him it was not the case and needed a 7inch roof cap. He tried calling someone a Decker to get help but got no answer. i told him i would look online and locate one. Lowes did have the roof vent. If I did not look I would have an inferior system. He got the correct roof cap but needed to come back to finish the job since it was late. The opening in the cabinets had a larger hood and needed pieces of wood to fill in the opening now. He was having a difficult time screwing in the first side. He saw some of my tools and grabbed what he needed and said i need to use this. The hood was put in slighltly off center so both opening were different sizes.Instead of trimming the second piece of wood he banged it in bending the range hood and seperating the side of the cabinet. Finally instead if drilling pilot holes he just screwed the pieces to my existing cabinet cracking the cabinets in multiple places. When i was to sign off the ticket and pay him i showed him the damage he did, and said it was shoddy work. i said I would sign the slip anyways. I was afraid of what his fix could be. He did not apologize, offer to fix it just left mad. Also the second day he had his radio playing with what i would consider offensive music but i said nothing as i just wanted him to finish up and get out.
