Recent Review: Our roof was getting old and dilapidated so we had a new asphalt shingle roof installed. Roberson's took a few days to do the work and cleaned up well after them. We've enjoyed our new roof since.
Recent Review: I contacted several roofers concerning this project to obtain quotes. Mike Polk (salesman for Altman) answered my inquiry in a timely manner and provided a reasonable quote along with references, which I checked prior to selecting Altman Builders for this project. Mike and I discussed the project and materials, with Mike taking the time to explain and discuss the different options after which we set the schedule for the job. The workmen arrived at the scheduled time and spent the next two days removing and replacing my roof. The workmen were professional and took reasonable precautions to protect the house plantings. All of the work as well as the cleanup was done to my satisfaction. Not only would I recommend Altman Builders to a friend, I contracted them to do another roofing job on a 2-story house that also experienced hail damage. That job was also done in a timely manner and to my complete satisfaction.
Recent Review: Creative Exteriors did an excellent job and with a crew, they managed to complete the entire job in one day. They cleaned up well after themselves and we've been satisfied with it ever since.
Recent Review: I had a new roof installed on my home this spring. The total area that they shingled is about 1300 square feet. I am pretty satisfied with the work that was done. My roof does look good and the workers were polite while working with me. The job got done right in time. The workers did make sure to clean up their mess when they were finished and they did dispose of the old roofing for me.

Recent Review: I thought that Hightower did an amazing job. They worked really, really fast, not to mention how polite and courteous they were. After completing the roof, we did find a very small leak around the chimney, but, they came right out and fixed it with no questions asked. I am very satisfied with the outcome of the work done here.

. Roof repairs were satisfactory and done within a couple of weeks of insurance approval, interior repairs and painting dragged on for many months before completion and proved unsatisfactory so we had to have interior repairs and painting redone by another contractor. Management was difficult to work with.

AGrier Roofing LLC
The quote process was quick and easy. The salesman is experienced and not pushy and the price was very fair. They showed up exactly when scheduled and completed the work very quickly with respectable quality. My only advice is to be very specific if there is something special you want done. Be very specific how you want it done if it's important to you. I did not know to be specific about certain things regarding the metal work and expected that if there were questions then they would be discussed. Instead assumptions were made by Grier having to do with the metal roof that did not fit with my plans. Grier was good about coming out and discussing the issues to work out an acceptable solution for everyone and I'm happy with how it turned out. I would use them again, and I would apply my lessons learned to hiring any roofer for a future job.

BUltimate Gutter Guard Greenville
The repairs and roofing went well; however, I've picked up over one hundred nails in the yard and on the decks afterwards. I also had to remove a small pile of wood debris left behind. We were locked into having to take Ultimate Gutter Guard's high bid for the roofing job, so that they would remove and rehang the 60-foot gutters in order to keep the warranty intact on the existing leaf guard gutters. It was high price to pay for a very simple repair and roofing job. One positive note: the sales representative himself came by on a Saturday to power wash the downed gutters before they were rehung.

We had quite the nightmare working with Brown’s Roofing. Brown’s roofing was contracted to replace our entire roof, one complete side of our home’s vinyl siding, and a few gutters. From the start, we were rarely communicated to when workers would be at our house to complete work. When we were told there would be workers there, they often time would not show up to complete the work. We rearranged our schedules to be at home for the workers several times for them to not show up and then they would show up to do work while we were not available. When the roofers showed up it took them just over a day to complete the work. They did not put any tarps down over our deck or flower beds, so after they were done there were literally hundreds of nails left behind that were not picked up. We noticed their rushed work immediately. Our driveway was littered with oil stains from their vehicles and the siding on the back of our house had asphalt scuffs all over them where they roofers had thrown down the old shingles against the house. The team replacing our siding removed a large piece from the side of our home without letting us know, and they left the wood exposed to rain and the elements for over a month before replacing. The team that replaced our gutters ran out of corner pieces, so they left it wide open for the rain to just pour straight down the side of our home until they could return several days later. The first time it rained, there was water in the attic and pouring out from behind our gutters. Upon inspection the shingles all around the home were cut too short causing water to run down our fascia boards as opposed to going in the gutter where it belonged. The furnace vents on the roof were also not sealed properly causing water leaks in our attic. We immediately contacted Browns to let them know of the issues and they assured us that the crew would be back out to fix the problems. I also spoke with their Greenville representative asking why a drip edge was not installed on our home, knowing that it was in the building code for asphalt shingle roofs to have a drip edge installed. He proceeded to tell me directly that our home’s fascia had a “built-in drip edge” which it does not have. It took nearly a month and at least 3 more visits to our home for them to get all the issues resolved. Each time they would come, they would only address one area of the house instead of going around and correcting all issues. If the job had been done correctly the first time, they would not have had to make so many visits. The roof seemed better off before they laid a hand on it. The oil stains never did come out after use of chemicals and a pressure washer.
