Recent Review: We reached out to several providers to see if they could meet us to provide a general estimate and didn't even receive responses - Robert Muse was the exception to this. Robert kindly meet us at the lot, answered our questions and provided insight on the clearing process and the amount it would likely cost (and worst case). Robert spent about 45 minutes on property with us and answered questions we had about clearing / excavation and potential costs for concrete (driveway / foundation / etc..)... His willingness to provide us this general quote and additional information was instrumental to our offer on the lot. Our offer on the lot was accepted on 7/8/2016 and we are now in the due diligence period. We will not likely break ground on our home for 1 to 1.5 years - but we will be reaching out to Robert Muse for a firm estimate on excavation and grading (and other services) and hope we have the opportunity to have him work on our project as he has already shown his willingness to provide excellent customer service. Robert thank you for being so generous and kind to help make this lot purchase and future home building a reality for us.

Excavating, Excavating Contractor, Driveway, Local Excavating, Professional Grading
Recent Review: If you live in Tega Cay, you know erosion problems. I had an erosion problem quickly deteriorating next to a 20' natural retaining wall. Benjy gave an estimate based on his experience - before he could excavate the back yard to find what could be done. We have a lot of underground drainage bc we live on a backfilled lot on a steep slope. He took care of all prep (having the lines marked, getting permits, etc). After escalating 4 ft over 20'x40' section of the lawn he improved the drainage design in some areas and added additional drainage in another. He then compacted high quality fill to finish the job. ... and he beat his original quote. He is personable to work with and does quality work. I would recommend him and have personally hired his advice and help for another project.
Business Description: Site work, clearing, grading & excavating contractor for over 15 years. Boulder walls, licensed septic system installer. Stream restoration contractor. Roads, ponds,& finish grading. Hauling gravel and dirt.
Three weeks ago I called Brad to get a quote for work on a house that we didn't even own yet--we were only under contract. He came out the next day, provided an extremely fair estimate and constantly stayed in touch until we were ready to start work. We closed on the property Friday and he started excavation on Saturday. The equipment for the work was dropped off on Friday afternoon after closing. Brad is professional, courteous, and extremely respectful. We bought a house on the water that had been neglected for years. After 4 days of 12 hours a day he and his crew completely transformed the landscape of the property. Words do not describe how grateful we are to the craftsmanship and professionalism Dert Diggers brings. This is a house I was very skeptical to purchase, but Brad and my husband saw the vision of the future that I could not see. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Over the years we have dealt with several landscapers. I can say far and away that Outdoor Contracting has been our best experience yet. What truly sets this company apart is the owner Bill Botkin. Any landscaper can do average outdoor work – Bill doesn't settle for average. Not only does he have a great crew who really pays attention to detail, but he always over-delivers on the end result. For us, it was hard to see the potential on our own property – I think this is the case for many people. Bill was able to help us think creatively. He has great ideas and his engineering background gives him the ability to see the big picture. What really surprised me was the amount of trades they perform in house - and perform well. His wheelhouse of skill is impressively large. His physical execution of the project was neat and tidy: the end result looks great. His background and knowledge make the planning/design portions flow seamlessly into the start of the project. Finally, but perhaps most important to us, was his communication. We always heard from him (and in detail, at that.) We felt very involved in every step of the process and as minor changes were made, we were assured our wishes wouldn’t get lost along the way. This combination makes his business our go-to for landscaping

I can't say enough about both Jonathan and his son Jon Jon....both of whom worked with us on our project. They did a great job at a fair price and we're extremely happy with the results of their job. They answered all of our many questions, graciously added onto the project after it was started per our request. And, they are both really great, honest people to boot. Can't recommend them high enough.

Our contractor building our porch Exterior Additions suggested using Ed Italiano to pour our new patio. After meeting Ed and Steve we decided to use them. They worked along with the porch construction to pour the patio. They did a great job. Very professional and hard working. Received a call from Ed the next day saying that he did not think the concrete company mixed the wrong mixture. Long story short he came back and tore out the patio he just poured and re poured it a second time with the same great results. I have to thank Ed for being honest. I would not have known the mixture was incorrect. He could have left it but chose to to do the correct thing and re did it. Thanks for your hard work Ed, Steve, Pepe, and the rest of the crew. I would highly recommend Italiano Brothers for your concrete work.

SHAWN AND HIS CREW DID GREAT WORK, REMOVING OLD RETAINING WALL AND ASPHALT DRIVEWAY. THEY REPLACED AN OLD CRUMBLING WOOD RETAINING WALL WITH A NEW SHOT CONCRETE WALL WITH STEEL REINFORCING. IT WAS VERY COST EFFECTIVE WAY OF REPLACEMENT, CONSIDERING THE BIDS I RECEIVED FOR BLOCK, BRICK AND WOOD TIMBERS. THIS IS THE SAME PROCESS USED IN SWIMMING POOL CONSTRUCTION.

DFalcone Crawl Space & Structural Repair
I first contacted Falcone to look at leaning piers and was quoted a few thousand dollars to replace them. Workers arrived on scheduled day and began demolition and digging in crawl space. Next day the boss showed up and removed all their tools and told me I needed an engineer. House was left unsupported in meantime. I got an engineer to come out and access the situation and test the soil in which he found the cause and made recommendations. I forwarded this information to Falcone who came back with a quote of nearly 18,000 and told me this would be the worse case scenario. They scheduled the work and started excavating two large holes in my yard and under the home. Crew is friendly. While excavating was taking place the siding on my home was damaged. I was told this would be taken care of. I even provided them with the siding. The job they did replacing it is marked up and buckled. An underground power line needed to be moved and I was told I would be reimbursed for the cost. $200.00. I was not reimbursed. After the holes were dug they laid forms for the new concrete and filled them. The mixer has left piles of cement in the yard that was not cleaned up. Two large holes remain under my home. Places were water can pool during heavy rains and cause moisture damage if not worse. The vapor barrier I had has been ruined and not replaced. After they did the construction the yard was left a mess. Bricks everywhere. Broken tree stumps protruding from the ground. After several passes of trying to clean this stuff up I finally thought I could cut the grass. No, That would end up breaking my lawnmower and as a brick hidden under straw caught the blade and sheared the mounting bolts and tore the assembly that holds it. The trees themselves that were knocked down, I said they could leave and I would cut them up. They destroyed several sections of fencing I had and actually discarded the lumber from it. I was given a 35 dollar credit for this. The ground is very uneven and still has large bare areas that were not reseeded. The amount of delays and no temporary supports engaged has caused some walls to crack or separate from the ceiling. The entryway to the crawlspace now has two cracks in the bricks around it as the must have banged into it with tools. I tried to address these issues with them via Email and received no response. They then called wanting the balance of bill paid. When I refused to pay until issues were addressed I was met with threats of late fees. A worker then called me and did not want to address the issues instead offered to not have late fees imposed if I would forget about it. I feel less safe in my home now then before Falcone Crawlspace worked on my home. I will never use or recommend them to anyone. It will cost me thousands of dollars to repair things they have damaged or did not put back in order after they reassured they would while the job was ongoing.

ADEBRUHL ENVIRONMENTAL EXCAVATING
THIS COMPANY IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE WITH THE NORTH CAROLINA STATE TRUST FUND. HE DID A VERY GOOD JOB IN EXCAVATING THE TANK AND EDUCATING US ON A SERIOUS ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARD THAT WE HAD IN OUR BACKYARD. HE IS A LIFE SAVER AND I WOULD MORE THAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIS SERVICES.
