NO WAY WE COULD SEE IT UNTILL THE FLOOR GOT A SOFT SPOY.CHRIS REPAIRED THE HOLE BY REPLACING THE FLOOR ,PUTTING REINFORCEMENTS IN. PUT NEW PIPE IN ADDED SHUT OFF VALVE IN MY WATER LINE UNDER THE SINK. WHICH ALL REQUIRED TAKING PART OF THE CARPET TO GET TO IT. HE HAD TO GLUE THAT BACK DOWN. HE HAS DONE MANY THINGS FOR US . INCLUDING WALLPAPER, PAINTED OR BATHROOMS. CHANGED LIGHT FIXTURES, TODAY HE ALSO FIXED THE LIGHT IN MY REFRIGERATOR. HE HAS PUT UP CROWN MOLDING AFTER PAINTING ROOMS IN OUR HOUSE. HE NEVER LEAVES A MESS. HE CLEANS UP WELL. WHICH WE REALLY APRICIATED SO MUCH. WE HAD A CRACK IN THE CEILING WHERE I THINK THE HOUSE SETTLED AFTER AGE. THERE WAS NO BOARD TO CONNECT THE CEILING TO IN ONE CORNER SO HE WENT IN THE ATTIC AND PUT A PIECE TO SCREW THE CEILING IN AND DRAW IT UP TIGHT. WHEN HE GOT DONE IT LOOKS LIKE NEW WE LOVE IT EVERYTHING HE DOESS IS GREAT. IF YOU WANT SOME OTHER THING DONE HE WILL DO IT. HE IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE TO EVERYTHING WE HAVE ASK IN THE HOUSE AND VERY REASONABLE. GREAT AT EVERYTHING. WE WOULD HAVE HIM FOR ANYTHING. HE IS GREAT AT ANSWERING MY CALLS.

AFinishing Touch Unfauxgettable
These folks are AWESOME! From the initial estimate to the completion of the job, they were consummate professionals. No unexpected surprises between the estimate and the final bill. The project was started within the week of the estimate. The employees are hard workers that clean up after themselves at the end of each day. The job should have taken an estimated 4 days and they finished in 3 with not even taking a break (to include lunch) on the last day to complete the job quickly. The employees show up on time and are ready to go to work and get the job done right. Great work product! I am thrilled with this company and I am going to have them back to paint and do some additional work at my home. I highly recommend this group!

We wanted the popcorn ceiling removed from a couple bedrooms, hallway and bathrooms and then painted white. They removed the popcorn very quickly (it was painted so it was difficult to remove) and superficially touched it up with plaster. This was not acceptable to us as we wanted the ceiling skim coated so that it would look well finished. They did agree to spending more time on the ceilings but would not have done this without us insisting on it. The workers were all pleasant and tried to please us but we did have to oversee the work closely to get it done to our satisfaction. I would use this company on less precise work in the future but not on something that required more precision. The price was very good for the amount of time spent on this project.

I replaced the wallboard, and furred out the ceiling joists for screwing the wallboard. Steve came over and applied the initial tape and mud coat. After it dried he applied a second coat of mud and feathered it out. After drying, the ceiling was now ready for spraying the popcorn. I primed the ceiling and Steve returned and sprayed the ceiling. After touch up by both Steve and me I primed again and painted and feathered and the patch was not easily discerned to the typical person. Steve also patched a bunch of other holes which did not require any tape. Since I had helped with the job Steve generously lowered the price to $275.

A year ago, he did all the inside painting, including a pop corn ceiling, and the trim work for a 2500 sq foot home, for which he charged us $8,000. That may seem high to some, but popcorn ceilings are a bear, and they did a beautiful job. The trim work in hte house was awesome. We have well over 20 windows, two of which are bay windows, and they look amazing with the new paint. He also recently did some ceiling fan work, hardwood repair and general maintenance for abou $1,000. One of his team, Mike, did beautiful job on the hardwood repair. I can barely tell the difference between the old and new wood, and these floors are well over 20 years old. We feel very lucky to have Steve and his team. It's hard to find contractors you trust, and Steve and his team are definitely people we feel comfortable doing work in our home.

Vernon was very responsive and went out of his way to come by my house after finishing another job late on a Friday. He was quiet and professional, asked questions to make sure I got the exact placement I wanted for the chandelier and he was in and out in no time. Would definitely use his services again.

After contacting M & T Home Maintenance Service through the email link provided by Angie's List I was able to schedule an free estimate for services. I had requested an estimate for each of the rooms listed above excluding the guest bedroom but have a separate estimate to include that room as well. $1245.00 was the total for all the rooms combined. I was very pleased with the estimate. The work was delayed a couple weeks due to one of the primary painters being ill but once they were able to complete a prior job they were able to start and complete the job without any issues. The painters began on Monday, 11/3, shortly before 11am (I was out of town that morning). We discussed each room getting serviced and a plan was formulated regarding which rooms were to be started and which was to be done last. It took slightly more than 2 days to scrape all the popcorn texture from the rooms. To start each day they took time to lay out drop cloths, hung plastic to protect my belongings, and moved furniture, At the end of the each day they discarded the popcorn ceiling covered plastic in large trash bags, vacuumed floors, and returned furniture back to normal. Only in those areas (i.e. my guest bedroom) where I gave my permission did they leave hanging plastic or tools such as ladders, paint buckets and the shop vac. By 11/6 all the rooms were nearing completion except for the living room. After the mud was applied and drying they took the opportunity to make any repairs in the other rooms and to paint the walls where the tape had removed some paint. David, the lead rep, had a small can of paint blended just for repair work. By the end of the day Thursday all painting was completed, furniture was replaced and the house was thoroughly vacuumed. Over the course of the three days there were a total of three painters including the lead representative. Each were soft spoken and very respectful gentleman. I felt very comfortable having them both in the house when I was there and when I had to leave to run errands. I am extremely please with their work and look forward to hiring them again in the near future to paint my kitchen (walls) and both bathrooms.

The estimate that was presented included work that did not need to be completed and had left off areas that I had asked to be completed during the initial walk through. After bringing this to Terrie's attention, he verbally agreed to address the areas that were left off the estimate initially and eliminate the work that did not need to be done and leave the quote the same. When the work was completed, the bathrooms had only been partially finished (only ceiling redone), when I thought we had agreed to completely finish both bathrooms (ceilings and wall paint). When I addressed this with Terrie, he relayed that had a different interpretation of our verbal agreement, but was very eager to finish the work to my satisfaction. I felt the painters performed a "rush" job when they returned to finish. The walls in the master bath had lots of divets and imperfections (due to the removal of wallpaper that I had done several years prior). I had asked that the walls be smoothed out and painted over, which is not what was done. Only a coat of paint was applied. I will have to hire someone else to finish the work. The quality of the work was really good on some areas and subpar on others. The rotten wood in my bathroom that I thought should have been replaced was only repaired with paint.

Brian arrived a few minutes early and immediately went to work. He replaced a ceiling fan in a room with at cathedral ceiling. When he was done, the fan worked perfectly and looked beautiful. We will definitely call him back to do other work.
