Recent Review: PS Designs does phenomenal work. He is very creative and does a wonderful job. Reasonably priced and easy to work with. In our talking and taking bids we have found there are some people who don't listen to very well. When telling them what you wanted they would come back and say this, this, and this and he was the only one who listened and came back with a design with what we wanted. Some of these people can be very pushy with their ideas and he was not like that. He listens, tried to get us what we wanted, and at a price that was in our budget. He was able to accomplish all of that.

AM & T Home Maintenance Svc
We were moving back into a home that had not been lived in full time for a number of years and that needed various projects. The first job was to remove the stair rail before the movers came and replace it after to allow ease of getting mattresses upstairs.  The rail is much more secure than ever.  This sets the tone for Terrie's team's work.  They do just a little 'more' than you expect and everything is done not just to your liking, but to Terrie's high standards.  This company is very trustworthy and we were very comfortable with all of their workers coming and going even when we weren't home. Removing the rotted wood around our kitchen door was a larger project than anticipated due to the structure and they came back a couple of times with either material or to finish. The young man who worked on this job put a lot of effort into getting it just right. Our back steps to the deck had come loose from the door and were reattached.  The team then power washed our decks.  On their own (and without accepting additional money) they washed a small side porch as well.  Our basement stairs were open on one side and I asked for a rail.  We got a nice, very sturdy rail with spindles specifically designed for the space.  Finally, in the backyard, they replaced several old rotted cross ties.   Next, M&T's painters came and removed wallpaper from our formal dining room, then painted that and the living room and foyer. We were on a 'waiting list' to get the painting done, but that was well worth it.  We had chosen the colors and were satisfied with them, but after they painted the fireplace as requested, I decided it needed to be partially redone.  They did so without a question and within the same quote they had given. They were careful to use at least two coats of paint and checked with us periodically to insure we were happy with what was being done.  This crew seemed to really enjoy what they did and were always pleasant and timely. Because they couldn't get to the job before we moved back into the house, our painting required that they move some heavy furniture, which they did, and then moved it back. After the painting, we had the side yard completely redone.  This yard had overgrown and diseased old shrubbery and was a bit of an eyesore.  Terrie and Bud worked on a design for the yard and Bud came back to do most of the work himself.  We had sod delivered and he designed it so that the yard looks very professionally done. We look forward to adding some lawn furniture to enjoy our little oasis.  I highly recommend them for landscaping, including steps and retaining walls.  We didn't use them to do our retaining wall as we already contracted for that, but their attention to detail, as well as their perfecting every job lets me know it would have been a good choice.   The last thing we had done was an electrical checkup and replacement of several wall sockets that did not meet code (in bathroom and kitchen areas).  The electrician (Kenny) also installed two bathroom vents, and an outside light on the side porch.  We planned to purchase one, but he said that he had one and would love to use it.  It worked perfectly.  We have had nothing but excellent results from this company and look forward to having them back soon to treat our decks and for other jobs that are on the horizon.
