Recent Review: We had marble tile left over, from when Perez and his team at Discount Renovations remodeled our master bathroom, so we used it to re-face the brick fire place up to the mantel. The brick above the mantel was sealed and painted. It turned out great! The wood framing was replaced and the existing windows were refinished to match the new trim. We also had the walls painted and had a beautiful old mirror framed with the same trim used for the fireplace. It was no small job given our 18 ft. ceilings! It really came together and tied in the main room with the newly remodeled master bathroom. Great job!

Recent Review: The painters were punctual, moved and covered furniture, prepared surfaces to be painted, painted walls, ceilings and trim in a period of three days.  They replaced the furniture and left the rooms very clean.  The electricians replaced two light fixtures and raised the microwave oven to a more appropriate height over the stove.  This required some carpentry work which was done well and quickly.  The electrical and carpentry work took about four hours.  The plumbers removed the toilet, replaced the flange and reinstalled the toilet so that it was solidly anchored.  This took about two hours.  The flooring required that the carpet be removed and engineered wood flooring be installed.  This was done very cleanly in two days.  There was a problem with making the new flooring flush with the top stair.  This was not done well at first, but the workers returned and removed the sub-floor at the top of the stairs and installed hardwood flooring at the top of the stairs that resolved the problem.

Theron was very responsive and professional. I had a tough schedule to work with but he worked with me without a problem. He painted exactly the walls and rooms I asked, and even went above and beyond to patch up some additional blemishes. I was very pleased with the service, especially at such a reasonable rate. I will definitely use him again in the future!

I thought I had a leaky (unsealed) window - which had soaked in and ruined part of the drywall near the window. Turns out that the window seal was actually the problem. William worked with the supplier to get a new window (under warranty) so all I had to worry about was the labor. The window was put in, the drywall cracks repaired, and the room was painted. They even got the door to finally close correctly by shoring up the joist under the room! It looks amazing! The kitchen pantry looks great, too. The only concern I had was that he sub-contracted the work to a cabinet guy - since the finish I wanted to match with the rest of the kitchen required sprayed paint. He picked the right cabinet guy to do the job - and the kitchen looks marvelous!

I chose Theron based on Angie's List reviews and was not disappointed, We live in a nice neighborhood and newly moved from California so we don't know anybody to ask ref. We have house we bought that had been ruined with do-it-yourself painting with latex on oil on kitchen cabnents and trim, and poorly painted walls. I have a lot of do it yourself knowledge and know when to get something done professionally when you dont have time to to it right. We had had several estimates that were way to high which my wife and I refer to has the 'Windsor Forest estimates'. His was not to high or low but was accurate and fair for the work that needed to be done. He went through the process of his plan as we walked through specifying what was needed for different surfaces and asking relevant questions about what we wanted. He also offered some ideas on that we accepted such as painting kickboards of cabinets black to hide dirt better. He was very responsive to my nit picking as I am very particular and expect professionals to do it better than I would. They even happily got out the ladders and paint after having packed everything away when I pointed out some minor flaws on vaulted ceiling I noticed without any hint of irritation. After all was done, I was very happy with the job they did I even felt like they underbid the project and paid about 300 extra. It took them (3-4 guys) about two weeks to get the job done but they were very thorough with the prep work which is the most most important part. I have already called them back for a another two rooms to be done. Side note, my wife is a manager type that thought the most recent estimates that we got from him were too high on our new project and felt I was accepting a higher bid because I liked them from last job too much. So she decided to get out her calculator and figure out the labor cost and materials and time for the project based on the work and time that I guessed needed to be done, since she has no idea about painting at all, and anyway, after her magical manager figuring came up with a number that was only 100 dollars less than he offered. Which I would gladly pay for good work, and miraculously she agrees.
