Recent Review: Had an addition put on our lake home and the builder installed a new hot water heater. Not sure what happened with the installation of the tank but there was a strong sulfur smell every time we took a shower. It seemed to lessen with each additional shower. Next weekend when we came back it was back and very strong again. I "googled" sulfur smell in hot water and it said it was likely some kind of bacteria in the tank. The recommendation was to get a plumber to drain the tank. I called Red and explained what was the issue. He came right out, drained the tank, and fixed the problem. This is the 3rd time I've needed his help and he's responded immediately (with John) each time.

Recent Review: He did a really good job. He tried to fix the sink once and let us know he was going to try one way and if it did not work to call and he will come back to replace the pipe. The first fix did not work and we called him and he came back right away. He replaced the pipe to the sink on his second visit and did not charge us at all for second visit. I would highly recommend them.

FAll 1 Plumbing LLC & Septic Service
By far the Worst Excuse for a plumbing company . My Mother-n-Law hired them to replace a septic tank and fields , 2 weeks later as of 12-16-18 , my old tank is still uncovered and exposed , my new tank has floated out it’s uncovered hole and breaking and pulling all sewage lines out from under my house . I call and call this EMERGENCY NUMBER they give the customers , No answer or response back to any of my many messages . So I warn anyone looking to Hire A Plumber , these Clowns are not the ones you want on your Property .

Fantastic. Our tank had not been seen to at least since 2007. The cost was a bit much for me, but I can not knock the quality service.

The good part about the company is that I got an appointment the next day and the technician that come to the home was very courteous and continuously worked the entire time he was at my home. The problems first started when I called in for an appointment and explained my issues with my well pump. I asked if they wanted to know the information on the size of my holding tank because I live in a very rural area and if they needed supplies the travel time alone for a round trip would be 1 hour. I was told no, that the technician would determine what he would need when he got to the home and that they had suppliers in the area to get what was needed. The technician got to the home and checked underneath the home for leaks. Upon finding no leaks he said it appeared as if the holding tank needed to be replaced as well as the switch and pressure gauge.. He said he had brought a new switch and a pressure gauge but would have to get a new tank from the supplier. I had a 20 gallon tank but my water pressure was low and I wanted to increase the pressure so I asked if we were going to replace the tank how much additional would a 32 gallon tank cost over a 20 gallon tank. He said about $30. I said let?s go with the bigger tank and asked for a price quote. He quoted $742.50 which included the 10% senior citizen?s discount. I said that seemed high and he said that the cost included the parts, his labor at $195 an hour plus the cost of a repair visit and that was the best he could do. I agreed and he then asked for the nearest Lowe?s location. He left and 1 ½ hours later he returned. When I looked at the box for the tank it was a 20 gallon tank and not 32. I asked why I did not have the 32 gallon tank and he said the 32 gallon tank was $150 higher than the 20 gallon tank so he got the 20 gallon tank instead. I said then that must mean he would reduce his original quote. He said no that the price he quoted me was actually for a 20 gallon tank. When I said I did not want to put the 20 gallon tank in because I wanted the additional pressure, he called the office and they gave a further discount of $42 dollars and the repairman said he could improve the pressure because he was putting in a 30/50 switch to replace my existing 20/40 switch. The repairman replaced the tank, switch and pressure gauge and it did not fix the problem. The technician then heard a sound like escaping pressure or water returning to the well. He then said, ?I wish I had heard that earlier? (which I mentioned to him in the beginning before he started work). He said that my check valve was bad at the foot of the well and that I would have to call a well person because he did not do well work. At that point I told him that although I was better off with the newer parts, I still had the problem and I did not think it was fair for me to be out $700 and still have the problem. He called the office and handed the phone to me and I talked with a young lady and she asked me what I thought was a fair solution. I said, what I thought a fair solution would be would be for me was to pay for the parts and the hour labor that was quoted to put them in. She said she would have to contact a manager and call back. When she called the repairman back, he told me that they had checked with a manager and that the price could not be adjusted and the best they could do would give me a discount on future repair work. Why would I want that if I am not happy with the current repair work? I contacted my well person the next day (Saturday). He came out within two hours, never had to pull the well, installed a $26 check valve in the pipe between the tank and the above ground well entry point, adjusted the pressure in the tank as well as the switch all within 1 hour and charged me $100. I wrote the owner of the company a detailed letter outlining my experience giving him an opportunity to respond. He called me back the next week saying he was going to meet with everyone involved and get back to me. When I did not hear from him within a week I called and left a message asking for the results of the meeting. The administrative assistant called me back and said they were giving me a refund of $450 and were using my experience as training.

This was a tough assignment. Unfortunately, the tankless water heater I purchased for the barn required more electricity (amps) than we could pull from the main elec. service. So although Stan did the work, we missed an important preliminary step & still have no hot water in the barn.

I have a 1.2 acre lot that needed a cleanup of debris. Initially I called Mark to haul away debris from a tree that was cut down and cut up. The price was $200. The grass was high because the County dug ditches along the road before paving without giving me a driveway onto my lot for months. Mark said he could bush-hog the dense areas and clear an area around my septic tank (2 trees and saplings) for $300. Okay. Then he said he would rake the lot and burn the dead leaves and dead limbs that had fallen from the trees over time, for $500. Mark is a self-admitted perfectionist, a good worker who did a fine job for me. As a businessman he does what is important to be a success. I like that. But, in my financial position, I just couldn’t justify or afford to pay $1,000 to clean up my lot. Considering the offer to rake and burn for an additional $500 distressed me for days so I cancelled his offer to do something that I was capable of doing myself. If you want a job done with excellence, you will be happy with Mark.
