Recent Review: I went through Costco to purchase this system. I highly recommend that route of you are thinking of getting water treatment. Costco gets you a significant discount on the price additional free goodies and a cash back Costco card. Plus Costco really backs everything they sell. The salesman was excellent and did not try to oversell higher end models. he was very knowledgeable and talked me out of extra unnecessary reverse osmosis on top of the water softener. The Install guys were in time courteous and explained everything. They had everything done in about 2.5 hours. They showed me how to use the system and really explained it well. I also had a unique plumbing situation which they easily solved. The system was installed nicely out of site in a utility room in the basement. I have been enjoying my treated water for about 2 weeks now and can say that my skin and hair feels so much better I feel more refreshed after showering my eyes no longer burn and my skin no longer gets dry and itchy. The drinking water is so much better now it is remarkable. Coffee is better soup is better tea is better. adn I am definitely using less soap in the dishwasher and laundry. The primary reason for my install were health and appliance/plumbing life span. I am certain that my applicance will now last years longer and that my plumbing will not corrode as it did in my old house.

Recent Review: When I called this business, I received the most friendly treatment.  Sarah said she would call me right back to schedule the visit. Within15 minutes she returned my call and set up the service for the morning of the next day.  On the day of the service, Sarah called to let me know that Josh Shelton would be at my home by 10:30 A.M. He arrived with his helper at exactly 10:30 A.M.  Both service persons were dressed in clean uniforms and put covers over their shoes before entering my home.  They introduced themselves and looked at both jobs to be done. They then, went to the truck and packed all needed tools and parts. Installation took about 20 minutes, whereupon Josh explained and showed me exactly what he had done.  With the new valve on the refrigerator water line, he demonstrated how to turn it off and on.  He tested all installed parts with water on. Presented the bill going over the charges and also gave me a magnetized business card and two pens. When he left, you could not tell any work was done except now I have a beautiful new faucet. This was one of the most positive encounters with a service person in my home.  I definitely will be calling this plumbing company again.  They were so pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient.  This is the way service should be.  It was painless which is so much different than most other service people.

Recent Review: Chuck Haefner has been taking care of our well water treatment system for years.  He's always tried to find ways to save us money and completed every task expertly.  If there were ever any questions, he'd leave a note or find some way to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction.  In this case, because we were selling the house and had recently "flunked" a cloriform-presence test on the tap water during the buyers' inspection, we had thought we were being required to install a chlorinator, which would have cost us well over $1,500.  Chuck pointed out that this was not what the inspection report request specified -- that we were required only to chlorinate the well, which would involve only dropping a certain number of chlorination pellets down into the well and cost only $55 -- so he passed up the chance to make quite a bit more money for himself. And he saved us a bundle of time and expense too!  We are grateful.

Recent Review: Chris is quite experienced with water damage repair. He removed a vanity and toilet in the basement to repair water damage behind the wall, then painted and replaced baseboards; replaced vanity and toilet (installed new works in my toilet too!).  In the kitchen, we had a bit of a time installing new LED puck lights under my cabinets (they are there, but messily installed) and dimmable LED downlights in the ceiling. The drywall and subsequent paint job work was impeccable but we had to call in an electrician to figure out the wiring. Chris has also done some small jobs: replaced rotted wood in a threshold  in an outside door; repaired a small rotten patch in a bay window, and installed some foam faux "supports" I had purchased under a bay window. He and his team were respectful and friendly but professional. I think he is terrific at drywall and painting and his prices reflect that. And he  knows what he is doing when treating water damaged areas.  If you just want someone to paint your walls as is, Chris will not be the cheapest. But if you need drywall repair and want the subsequent paint job to be perfect, call Sweet Success.

ASchubert Plumbing & Heating
Left a message on the machine and heard back from Karen shortly thereafter and she was cheerful and professional.  I explained what kind of toilet and faucet I wanted and we scheduled the work.  Tim showed up as scheduled after a phone call to let me know he was on his way.  It sounds silly, but I love the toilet.  It has a smaller footprint and makes the tiny bathroom look larger.  For some reason I had frustrated myself shopping for this item in the big box stores.  The bathroom vanity/faucet installation turned out great and the bronze faucet I requested pulls the whole remodel together. Some of the pipes that connect the vanity faucet had to be replaced as they did not connect.   While Tim was here  I asked him to look at the upstairs sink that was leaking and to fix a pipe. He was efficient, easy to work with and professional.  I thought the price was reasonable for everything I had done.  We did the majority of the remodel ourselves except for the flooring and the plumbing, which ended up being so much less expensive than the all inclusive type estimates we had.  I have used Schubert Plumbing in the past and have found their service to be excellent and will use them in the future.

FTudi Mechanical Systems
Tudi installed new furnaces and air conditioners in our house, and put in the HVAC system and plumbing in a new building we built. They have a big organization and the engineer we worked with, George Gittinger, was responsive and professional. But he was the only one who seemed to know his job. To make a long story short, everything they did for us had some sort of problem, large or small; every minor plumbing issue became a major one because they sent incompetent workers; and we have stopped calling them even to fix the things they did wrong(and thus should fix for free)because we know they will continue to screw things up. A few examples: AC condenser placed too close to the house for easy servicing; water lines from furnace twisted so that flow was constricted; pipe fittings that didn't fit forced into position, then failing and spraying water all over the equipment room. And, despite a large organization and promises of immediate response, when we called about this failed pipe fitting on a Saturday morning, no response was received until Monday afternoon. It was a good thing I had a contractor who came out and turned the water off, or there would have been ruined walls and floors.
