Recent Review: Met with Tom for a quote and took a liking to him right away.  He was friendly, timely and responsive to all our questions and options. What I really liked about Tom immediately was how he praised his workers and their work ethic.   Most contractors quickly self promote themselves, but Tom made it more about his workers.   After meeting with Tom, we knew we wanted to give him the business if his quote was reasonable.  He came back a couple days with a quote that was about 1/3 of the price our other quote. We signed the contract and scheduled the service.  Tom and company came exactly when they said they would and did an absolutely outstanding job!  In fact so good, that our next door neighbors also contracted with them (and other neighbors want to get quotes for their projects). Something that also stood out for me was that all the guys and Tom personally thanked me for giving them the business (which I think is pretty rare these days). We liked Tom and his crew so much that we decided to have him do our hardscaping project (which was originally slated to be next years project), and will be starting this week. I can't say enough good things about Tom and his guys!  They will do an outstanding job and will work with whatever budget you have in mind. Jim

Recent Review: We used Chris and his firm last year when we moved into our new home and he did a superb job. Our front and back yards were just dirt. He turned them into beautifully landscaped yards, built a paver patio and a seating wall, and diverted all the water from the rain gutters. We had a fence installed and found that trimming was difficult. The new stone path under the fence has eliminated the problem. Chris is pleasant, prompt, professional and a hard worker. We would not hesitate to use him again.

Recent Review: Went very well. We had a laundry list of items needed to finish the log home we purchased and Dimitry delivered on all items. He and his team are courteous, professional and clean. Although I wasn't familiar with Angie's List system of recommendations before engaging Dimitry, I'm was pleasantly surprised that all the recommendations were accurate. I would recommend Dimitry to anyone who needs work done on their home.

Recent Review: The work was performed in a professional manner with excellent workmanship. Kevin Klase's recommendations for paver style and color as well as the size and color of the river stones were right on the money. His crew did a great job grading the new topsoil around the new patio. The grass seed they planted has already come up and is filling in the area. Any area where their truck and bobcat damaged the grass was repaired, seeded over and is filling in nicely. The large shrub they transplanted appears to be doing very well in it's new location.

Recent Review: Chris worked with us patiently to answer all our questions involving several design changes. Once we finally signed the contract, it was several weeks until the work began. The crew arrived on schedule, and kept working (weather permitting) until the job was done.

Recent Review: First, Chris is a great communicator - phone, text, email.  I was never guessing on the status of my project.  When we were laying out the plans, he advised me against my original plan of a small retaining wall using versa-lok blocks because he was concerned the wall may sink as the buried tree stump continued to deteriorate.  His idea with the boulders was less expensive and still  visually appealing.  The biggest expense of the project was the fence, ~120'.  I chose to go through A.R. for the fence work because there was a bunch of site clearing and improvements that was needed to prior to the fence install.  I didn't want to play GC to coordinate the activities, Chris was able to handle it.  Added scope was priced fairly.  At project close-out, there were a few details that needed addressing and were handled promptly with no complaint.  A word of warning if you do fencing.  Perform your due diligence prior to starting a fence project - permits, survey and talk to your neighbors.  This piece was excluded from A.R. scope and I skipped it because we were replacing a fence like-for-like.  Needless to say, this caused a fuss with the neighbor because a post landed within his property.  He was in the right, even though the post had always been there since the original fence was installed.  Easton requires a permit and survey for any fence project, even if it is a direct replacement.

Recent Review: I explained to Chris what I wanted done, but didn't  have a picture in my head of how I wanted things to look.  I  had explained I already had one estimate and was waiting for another gentlemen to come the following week.  As we talked he went right to work sketching the area and made note of everything I said.   He explained why expanding the patio up against the house would look too hard and suggested some river rock and a few plants to give the front a softer look.  As he sketched he explained in detail what would be done and what materials would be used, while I looked through his portfolio of work and letters of jobs well done from prior customers .  To my surprise, two hours later, he had a finished sketch and wonderful ideas to beautify my dug up front yard.  The time just flew by...it was like talking to an old friend.   Chris spent way, way more time with me then the first guy and was doing 3 times more work and was charging $2000 less.  There was such good karma and vibes during our entire visit and I could tell how much he enjoyed and took pride in  his work.  I asked him to draw up a contract to sign and the following day I called and canceled the appointment for the third estimate.    When the work was to be started Chris and his crew of charming gents were on time and started right away.  Everything was prepped in the afternoon of the arrival to be completed the next day.  Throughout both days I would check on the progress and chat with them.  They worked non-stop and were very entertaining to watch.  They certainly work well together and as a team.  When the job was done, Chris and I walked around the house.  There were a few extras surprises that Chris and the gents did, to my delight, that weren't discussed or  included in his sketch, which again proved to me how much pride was put into this job.  Everything was cleaned up and no trash of any kind was left behind.   The reason for this survey is to find out if I would recommend Scenic Walkways....you bet'cha.   I was pleased with all aspects of the company and the beautiful, great  work that was done.   My hat's off to the gents for a simply maaahvelous job.  You made me a happy camper.  Peace guys!!!!

Tom and crew cleared a 100 (long) x 25 ft slope (30% grade) of mature trees and overgrown bushes and other growth.  They built a decorative retainer wall behind our swimming pool.  They ground down the tree stumps.  They spread landscaping cloth over the area and brought in and spread 42 ton of river rock.  They ran a 100 ft of subsurface drain pipe.  Beautiful & great job.  This was a heavy labor job.  It was fairly priced & we more than received our money's worth.

It was the first time we ever dealt with them. We were pleased. We were very happy with their work. The price was good, and their work and everything was good about them. Some of the work got stretched out a little bit, and maybe it was due to rain or weather or something like that. Overall, they did good work.

Very well.  I did not notice the old retaining wall was swaying and looked like it could go anytime.  Paul pointed this out to me and also that the additional weight of a larger pond would put additional stress on the existing wall.  The retaining wall he put in is gorgeous: it is brick and it is put in 12" below the foundation so it's not going anywhere.  The pond is the pond of my dreams.  It is lined with natural river rock and includes a faux "stream" feature in which the water trickles down into the pond.  It is graduated so that my koi can "sleep" during the cold months.  I always wanted to re-landscape the front yard since I lived here and he gave me advice on what types of planting would complement the new features, which I took care of after he completed their work. Last week, I accidentally put a hole into the return hose buried underground;  He came out and fixed the return hose promptly and explained exactly how he could fix it without digging the entire yard up again.  Thank you so much Paul.

The job went very well.  Every person on the job knew what they had to do.  They all were very good at their jobs. They arrived early and work hard during the day. We are very pleased with the end result.   All people who saw the area were very impressed. I would give Atlantic Ridge and very high rating.
