Business Description: We are in business for 23 successful years. Licensed, bonded and insured in NYC. Licensed and insured in NYC, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. It is mostly a one or two man operation and I personally attend to my work making sure for the homeowners total satisfaction. For 23 years I have never advertised my work and Angie's List is giving me the opportunity now to keep working the same way. Word to mouth is the best advertisement and that is the reason I listed my company here.

Recent Review: Damon from RedPaw Solutions built a pool deck for me that other carpenters said they couldn't build. he redid my counter tops and added a  beautiful new  backsplash. Damon removed my old front door and installed a beautiful new  door.  He has done many smaller odd jobs including pressure washing my deck, interior painting and trim work, and built a deck in my laundry room to get my washer and dryer higher off the ground to make loading easier on my back. He has also done some patch work on my front steps. I believe there is nothing he cant do when it comes to creating, designing, fixing and improving my home! His work is so exceptional I will hire him to do work on my second home. Thank you, Damon

Recent Review: We discovered John Bair when we had the kitchen remodeled about five years ago. He helped us to do our cabinets, so we saw his work at that point, which was really exceptional. He is a great woodworker. He does woodwork and remodels. He is very fastidious, detailed and trustworthy and does a really good job. He can do remodels anywhere and decks too. We have used him off and on within the past couple of years. The total price for the bathroom remodel including the labor and supplies was $2000. We would rate him highly and would definitely use him again in the future if necessary.

Recent Review: When it came time to remodel my outdated kitchen (so old cannot even put a date on it!) there was only one contractor to have return to my home, Wayne J. Day Custom Builder and his highly skilled associate Ed Martell who has hands of gold! Kitchen remodeling is usually the most stressful remodel that can be done in the home, but, they made the job run smoothly, accomplishing all that required to be installed running on a time frame that equalled that of a Rolex watch (do not own one just heard rumors they run great!). Installation of the cabinets, the tiling, the new electric and new plumbing was expertly installed and the result is amazing! Call Wayne J. Recent Review: Demitri and  his crew did a wonderful job including taking care of stuff that I added on as the work was being performed.   The entire crew were professional and handled their business accordingly.  Work areas were cleaned up almost on a daily basis.  When something was discovered he quickly contacted me and decisions were quickly made.  Appointments were always kept, and on time.  Although I usually get buyer's remorse when I hire contractors, the entire Pocono Luxury crew made this remodel a comfortable experience. One recommendation that I have is to know what you want before you hire a contractor.  I changed my mind several times, and Demitri was able to get me back on track with several design ideas.  He's a good manager and overseas his projects to the last detail, including many of them that I had forgotten that I included in the project until it was done. I would recommend them and will most likely use them on future projects.

Recent Review: From the very first time I met Arthur Garry, the contractor, I knew he was the right person for the job. His professionalism and straightforwardness in telling things as they are was greatly appreciated. I googled him when he left my home and found what he told me was true. Anytime an issue arose, such as the roof for example, he laid out the options available, and never pushed for a decision that would mean more money for him. In fact, there were a few times I think he went over and above without asking for any additional payments( I believe the kitchen floor fell into that category). From start to finish, everything was done to exceed our expectations and I would hire them again in the future for our next project without the slightest hesitation.

Recent Review: The project went really well and we love the new kitchen!   The house is over 100 years old and the existing kitchen was long and narrow with an inefficient design.  It was dark and musty with old metal cabinets and a sloping floor.  We found Burke Construction on Angie's list and made arrangements to meet with Jeremy, the owner of the company late in 2013.   When he came to the house we told him our thoughts and he made some suggestions as to how we could rearrange the kitchen layout to make it more functional.   He brought an interior designer along for the second meeting who offered some additional ideas for brightening and modernizing the space, while keeping it in harmony with the rustic feel of the house.      Once we decided on a basic plan, Jeremy got back to us in a few days with a reasonably priced proposal that included several optional items; some of which we kept and others we did not.   He helped us keep our costs down by steering us to suppliers having sales (cabinets) or offering lower prices than competitors.  For the granite counters, once we decided what we wanted, he arranged to get the same stone for $2,250 less than what was quoted us by a popular local business.   With the age of the house, the workers ran into some challenges that required extra work, especially relating to leveling the floor and ceiling.  They performed the necessary remediations at a nominal cost; and in some cases charged us nothing at all.   The various sub-contractors all seemed to take pride in their work and went the extra mile to do a quality job.   One of them told me they'd never seen a job as complex as this.   While we met most of the sub-contractors, Jeremy was the primary person we dealt with.   He was always accessible and returned our calls promptly.  He is professional, reliable, well-educated and just a real nice guy who is easy to talk to and nice to have around.  He definitely knows his business and showed a genuine curiosity about the construction of the house.  On several occasions he took the time to investigate things outside the scope of the project (electric, roofing, attic access, air conditioning) in order to answer questions for us.       The project took a couple weeks longer to complete than was originally estimated, but this was largely due to the fact that this is a vacation house and we live two hours away, so we weren't able to readily meet with him as questions arose that required us to be on-premise.   In any case, Jeremy knew we needed the house to be ready for summer rentals and the kitchen was finished just in time.       We're very happy to have found Burke Construction and they will definitely be our go-to guys for future home-improvement projects.

My wife and I needed an addition built to our home in Nazareth, PA. We contacted Pocono Luxury through the internet and arranged for an estimate and a sit down to discuss our options and costs. We have already received bids from numerous other contractors. Pocono Luxury not only beat their prices by a long shot!.......But the quality of their construction was astonishing! The design, the quickness, affordability, and upgrades got my wife and I thinking.........Now that we have this addition looking the way it does, we need the rest of the house to match it! We were speechless once we saw the finished product. Not only did they meet our expectations, but exceeded them in ways that we never even dreamed of. We are now referring them to everyone we meet that owns a house or want one built. Our house received a complete transformation! Too bad we can't have them build us a summer home in Florida, otherwise, we would build our dream retirement home with them as well. A+ Work guys! This review is well earned and deserved!
