Recent Review: It took a while for them to schedule us, but once they committed, they followed through with work and phone calls from management. They took three days, but rarely took breaks - only for lunch - even in the rain. they were all very polite and pleasant. They worked HARD! they measured carefully, used string to lay out the new fence line and kept checking for accuracy. The newly designed gate is the best possible solution.
Recent Review: BEN AND 2 OTHERS CAME TO INSTALL FENCE. WHAT A PLEASURE TO HAVE SUCH PROFESSIONALS DOING WORK AROUND OUR HOME. THEY WERE VERY PLEASANT. THE FENCE WAS UP AND ALL LOOKED BEAUTIFUL IN NO TIME AT ALL. A TOP NOTCHED COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH. IT WAS OUR PLEASURE MEETING THEM.
They installed my fence and when called because I noticed a 1 inch gap between two posts and the 2X4 spanning between them, they had the nerve to tell me that the post might have bowed and maybe the 2X4 had shrunk and it wasn’t the fault of the installers, (They also supplied the materials) and it wouldn’t be fixed without me paying for the materials and a minimum of 2 hours labor. For replacing one 2X4!!!! It would take all 20 minutes to do. After this I took a real close look at all of fence and discovered that while the 1 inch gap was the worst spot, I found several spots of gaps nails not drove in properly. They even cut one 2X4 on a knot and looks like it was cut to a point instead of flat to attach to a post. You’ll never if you used a good company until you have a issue and see how respond!! This company failed miserably.

We were impressed with the estimate and the materials provided by the company. Installation went well and as expected. They had to schedule us pretty far out and we were thrilled when we were bumped up ahead of schedule. We love our fence, it is absolutely gorgeous and better than we expected. We had two small problems, one, the locks were ordered for the fence (we wanted two key locks for security) were only able to be installed on one gate, the installers did the second gate in a way that the lock could not be accessed. They worked with us to find a different latch, but now I have one keyed gate and one padlocked, not ideal. The second issue was when they came to level the posts, the guy who came used a chainsaw directly on them and did minimal (but noticeable by me) damage to the fence. My husband complained and they replaced the damaged boards. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend them. I would suggest that you make sure their installation plan fits in with your gate latches in advance.

Mr. Riggins not only provided an estimate, he also made very helpful recommendations (such as gate placement) taking into consideration issues/situations that I had not considered. One gate is large enough to accomodate a full size vehicle, the other a riding lawn mower. The third gate is between the garage and enclosed patio and placement was an issue. He provided placement alternatives and then we made our selection based on our needs. The job was beautifully completed in 1 1/2 days. Our puppy is now safe and secure when going outside and we do not need to have her dragging us around on a leash and slipping her collar in the bitter cold. She loves being able to romp and run. We obtained three estimates from various companies before selecting Rand S Fence Co. Their estimate was not the least expensive but they were the most knowledgeable when assisting with placement and type of fencing.

Men went about there work . Asked appropriate questions. In our woodland setting, we have a lot of plantings, some that were difficult to detect this early in the season. We did have some work to get a few plantings restored and part of a rock wall back together. Nevertheless, would use this outfit again without any hesitation . Very professional. We were very satisfied.

The R&S crew arrived on time the first day and did a walk through with us to review the entire project and address any concerns we had about the process. They then did an amazingly efficient job of removing the old fence and loading it up to be hauled away. Over the next five days, R&S did a very professional job of installing the new fencing despite some very difficult obstacles they had to work through, including large slabs of buried concrete and limestone formations just below the surface of the ground. The crew was very good about making certain that the job site was safe and as clean as possible each evening when they departed for the day. They asked for input into numerous decisions such as gate placement, the direction of the gate door swings and changes to grading as necessary for a better functioning or appearing installation. The completed fence looks great. The posts are straight and plumb and the fence follows the topography of our yard very nicely. The job site was left very clean and we've had very positive feedback from our neighbors. We're very happy with everything about the fence project and would definitely recommend R&S Fence Co. to anyone looking to install fencing.

I would never suggest Yeager's Fence for a job. Nick did not follow through as promised. He was very unprofessional, refused to return calls, texts, and emails, and wasted weeks of my time. Find someone to work with who actually respects your time and commitment.

CCCC Fence - Carroll County Contracting Inc
Person came out and gave me a quote. I explained that I needed a pool code fence. She said no problem. Gave me final numbers and I asked a couple of questions about stuff. I notice their quote was higher than another company and was informed that was because we use a higher grade of boards. I was also promised and it was wrote on the contract that all my gates would swing out and be self closing.(pool code). Other company would not give me that on my 8ft gates. Estimator assured me that CCC fence would absolutely give me that and even give you a 10ft gate at 8ft price. I was relived to hear all that signed contract and awaited pool people to finish for fence to be installed. Fence was installed and guess what 10ft gates swung in and weren't self closing. Call to complain and was told what I wanted was impossible. I asked why I was promised that and was informed that estimator need more learning of job and should not have told me that. I informed them I have it wrote and was promised it on contract and was informed they would come switch gates but than not guarantee my fence. So be careful even though they write something on a contract that doesn't mean anything. I bet if I didn't pay what was on contract they would have came after me. All they gave me was a $300 of bill. I should have went with other company that was $1800 cheaper cause I would have got same fence installed

We had written contracts for both houses to finish in one month's time. The work progressed satisfactorily for 2 weeks (in fact, we only contracted the 2nd house with a smaller list of repairs after we saw the work progressing well on the 1st house). Then she started asking for draw payments before work was completed. Work halted for almost 1 month. Most of her crew quit/fired. Only one skilled carpenter was left and 8-9 unskilled min. Wage workers remained. She claimed much of the hold up was due to her workers stealing materials/plumber not showing up after she "paid" him up front-later, the plumber claimed she never paid him and didn't call him in to do the work. One month took 2 & a half months, we paid her for what she had done and then hired a different contractor to do the finish work and fix most of the shoddy repairs her crew had done. Overall: over promised, under delivered, shoddy workmanship, unfinished work, WAY over schedule, unskilled, unprofessional, calls unreturned.
