Recent Review: They couldn't find out what was wrong with the toilet and told us we needed a new one. They didn't carry the one we wanted so we went and purchased it ourselves.  They came to install it a week later, and the new toilet didn't work.  they spent several hours trying to find the problem.  The toilet eventually began working but they had no idea how or why.  We most likely did not need a new toilet if they had been able to find what was wrong on the 1st call.

Recent Review: The handle broke off of my toilet and I couldn't flush it. Another plumber installed a new handle, which lasted a week. When I couldn't contact them, I called Boiler Services. Although my scheduled vacation inconvenienced him, he made time to perform the service. He listened to my problems: broken handle, and toiled required unusual effort to flush. He replaced everything and used a metal rod instead of a plastic one to ensure it wouldn't break again. It took perhaps half an hour. It's been two months since the work was done and I haven't had a problem yet. The billed me promptly by mail. My only complaint is that he left without letting me know he was gone.

Recent Review: I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS COMPANY!  Starting with Mary Jane helping with design and expert advice, helping me to get a remnant stone because of size, the right tile, etc.  She was always upbeat, kind, and helpful.  I even made some changes to the type of fixtures I wanted and she followed through as if it was no bother.  Randall came out to look at the job before I received the estimate. He was extremely helpful and "nothing was too difficult" to give me what I was told by others could not be done--and he did everything beyond my expectations.  I received the estimate within 24 hours and they expedited the time frame to get everything done because I was leaving for business travel. As a leadership consultant and behavioral analyst I teach companies how to not just externally provide customer service to get and keep customers (though that is good) but to genuinely value the customer and what the customer values.  Everything I have witnessed with this company exemplifies that they do value the customer, the quality of work they provide demonstrates that and they  treat as valuable what is important to the customer. Now, here is the above and beyond call of duty example that this company displayed to me through the whole process: 1. Randall was so respectful of my home, cleaned up after himself even when I told him it was okay to leave the things out because he was coming back in a day to finish the project.  No...he cleaned and vacuumed.  Wow!  The first time he came to our home I told him we are a "shoeless" house...never had to remind him after that.  2.  He was pulling off an old counter top and putting on a new stone one (of course there would be some need for paint touch ups--it's construction stuff) along removing old floor and laying title, removing floor baseboards, with new towel bars, etc.  He asked if we had any bathroom paint and was immaculate about every touch up (which was not his responsibility...but he cared how it looked. 3.  We had some speckles on the stained wood baseboard from a previous paint job and he asked for something to clean that up - he made our baseboard look so much nicer then before they were pulled out. Once again, this was not his responsibility but he really cared about excellence. 4.  There was no access panel for tub plumbing and he went way out of his way to put an access panel that actually looked nice when he was done...and it was inside a closet where perfect "beauty" was not anticipated and it looks great. 5.  The big deal for me was that there was NO STRESS in the whole process.  I hate remodeling projects and construction, but there were absolutely no problems and my house was not disrupted.  (In fact Mary Jane said to me before we started - work on one project at a time so you are not without during the process...her counsel in many things helped me to make the right choices and save money meaning "less sales" for them at the moment, but in the process they've gained a repeat customer). Bottom line:  Not only would I hire them again, but I am anxious to redo our master bathroom--much bigger project.  I don't have any of the dread you feel when you go into a remodel.  I trust them!  Lastly, Randall has an "over-the-top" work ethic that really impresses me! He carried the extra tile into my storage, did all types of little finishing touches.  The job superseded my expectations...but now I've got great expectations for my next project.

Recent Review: There was a little bit of difficulty at the beginning actually making a connection with the company, but after we did connect it was all good. The man who came to do the work was prompt and professional. He did several fixes for me as mentioned above. The main thing was replacing a toilet in my basement. The only thing that is the slightest bit negative is he had to install new piping/tubing from the water supply to the toilet. He had to cut a hole in the wall and I believe the and quot;finishedand quot; hole could have been done better and the shut off knob not sticking so far out from the wall, but rather positioned closer to the wall. But he was very neat and totally cleaned up everything when he was finished. He even took apart a drain/trap to look for an earring that I had dropped down the sink. And the only reason that the price was so high is the purchase price of the toilet.

Recent Review: I checked Angie's List and found Christian's Plumbing. I read the reviews and liked what I read. I gave them a call. Jarrod answered right away. I explained what my problem was (which was a problem that I felt needed immediate attention) and he said he would be there the next morning around 8:30am - 9:00am I asked him of he could give me ballpark figure of how much it might cost and he gave me an amount. I was surprised at how low amount he stated and I told him I would not hold him to the quote, because he had not looked at the job. I told him we wanted to put a new toilet in, would this be a good time to do it. He said yes and told me a name of a good brand that he had used. The next day Jarrod was right on time. My husband showed him the problem and they also realized he would need to change some of the drain piping. He went to work and in about 3 hours our problem was fixed and we had a new toilet! And I was surprised he stayed within the quote he gave me on the phone.

DBarry K Swank
I needed 2 new toilets installed in my house. No additional plumbing was needed, just changing 2 new toilets for 2 old ones. Swank is very nice but not very competent. Both toilets were installed in 3 hours but the one toilet had a severe leak at the base of the toilet within  3 days. The other toilet was unstable. I called Swank and he said he would fix the problem when he had time. It has been 3 weeks and NO return call. He screwed up and cant fix his own mistakes? My contractor friend fixed the toilets quickly and told me never to contact this man again. Easy job but screwed up-it happens but what p***** me is he never called to schedule an appt.

BHatch Plumbing & Heating
The workers made very sure that there were no leaks, cleaned up after themselves, and gave important plumbing tips. They did not remove their boots, but with the winter weather and the need to return to their vehicle for items it was understandable. I would just suggest that a home owner put down protective covering over the floor.

FCHUCK BEERS PLUMBING HEATING
To begin with I had an acquaintance working for me that works for cash under the table. He claimed to "know it all". Big mistake! After realizing that he was making a bigger mess than I had to begin with, I fired him. By that time he had removed the toilet and vanity sink in the bathroom of the home I bought but hadn't move into yet. Next mistake: I called a local plumber Chuck Beers to finish the work. First of all, he sent his son and another person to do the work. The toilet wasn't installed correctly because it would not stop running and I had to shut the water off and flush it with a bucket of water each time I used it. Also, since the floor isn't level, they installed it crooked as well. They didn't even install the seat correctly. I told them that the original toilet wasn't leaning like the new one was, but the son said that there is no way to fix that? The other part of this is that they didn't even install the new sink correctly either - it was 2 inches closer to the bathtub than the original sink because they cut the hole for the drain pipe in the wrong place. It did not drain either - the original old sink didn't have a problem draining. I made them come back and move the sink over to where it belonged. He said that it would drain slow because I have an old house? As for the toilet, he told me that the workings were bad and I needed to call Kohler for a rebuild kit? Out of sheer frustration, I went to Lowes where I had purchased the toilet and told them that it was bad and I need to return it. I spoke to several of the managers as well as person in charge of plumbing. They all assured me that the toilet I bought must have been installed wrong. I was determined to buy a different one and pay them to install it - until that night I didn't know they did installations. They suggested that I let them do the install on the toilet I had and if it was bad that they would replace it for free. The guy they sent was excellent. It only took him 15 minutes to make necessary adjustments to the workings and to use "toilet shims" to level it. He also reset the seat because was put on wrong. As for the sink - he told me to get Liquid Plumber and use it as directed. He smiled and said that there's a trick used to make sinks drain slow so the plumber will get a call-back to fix it. Absolutely right - I now have a level working toilet and a sink that drains just like it should. Will never recommend Chuck Beers - totally ripped me off for $405. I'm not a rich person, only a single working woman who has paid dearly for everything she has.
