Recent Review: Steve Butler came out, reviewed what I wanted done, and provided an estimate, both time and money. They came in on budget (which was most important to me) and a few weeks over time due to complications when they took down the walls and ceiling. The crew that came to our house, Rob, Chip and Jim, were all friendly, professional, and always cleaned up beyond their immediate work area every night. I felt that the quality of their work was evident early on. Because the house had started to settle, once they started to rebuild, they leveled the floor and they leveled the ceiling, squaring everything off. What I especially liked was that they welcomed my poking around regularly (unlike some contractors who say it makes them nervous). They clearly marked where the shower door was to go, where the sinks, medicine cabinet, tile trim, etc were all going to go and verified that this is what I described and more importantly, what I envisioned. It was easy to make adjustments at those times. They didn?t make assumptions for expedience sake, they stopped to ask ?Is this where you want the towel rack, the height of the shower, the mirror, etc. And in the cases when I wasn?t sure they offered suggestions and common practices as well as pros and cons which I may not have thought of. And because of their years in the business, both the owner Steve Butler and the project manager Rob Graham helped me locate various items that I was looking for, from custom sized doors to a very quiet fan and infrared heat lamp combination. Rob, Chip, and Jim took pride in what they did, as though it was their own home. The quality of their work was exceptional. The cedar closet is exactly as I had envisioned and Rob's tile work in the bathroom is absolutely beautiful. Every time I walk into the bathroom I am thrilled with the craftsmanship of the tile work. I could go on, but the point that I want to make is that I felt like they were part of my team, collaborating to make this project a resounding success. I will gladly recommend them and plan to use them in the future.
