Recent Review: Excellent results, prompt, good communication, very conscientious, Came back in couple days to inspect and assure surface was drying properly. Maybe one of the most ethical and reliable tradesman around Highly recommend
Recent Review: Alamo was very honest about the difficulty posed by this job, due to the steepness of driveway. They did an outstanding job, and they did everything I asked them to do, including paving part of my walkway and placing a curb on one side of the driveway. They had to charge me extra for additional, under-estimated square footage not noted in the original estimate. I feel that the incremental price was very much in line and was quite competitive. They were punctual and efficient.
Recent Review: Keith came out and bid the job right away. He provided the bid within a week. They scheduled promptly and showed up on time and paved the driveway just as they described. We are happy and can recommend them.

Recent Review: Patching of pot holes was done over two days as they apparently use leftover asphalt at the end of the day. The first days' patches were done well. The second day's patches used asphalt that was too cool or dry (can't recall exact wording of the paver), resulting in rough brittle patches that immediately began to disintegrate. We spoke with them several times about this, with their promising to redo the poor work, but after a few months they have still not done so. Our withholding payment until the job was completed properly resulted in Hal's threatening a lien against our property and demanding a cashier's check for immediate payment.
Recent Review: I spent the summer of 2017 being stood-up time after time by another company, dealing with their answering service, and rarely talking to actual employees. When I did talk to employee they never seemed to know what was going on in their company. I heard of Checkered Flag Asphalt from another satisfied customer. I called them and the owner, Don, actually answered the phone. The next day he showed up, looked over the work, and scheduled it for the next week. That booking had to be rescheduled because of rain, but on the second scheduled date Don and his crew showed up. They finished the work quickly and professionally, and their work looks great. I would have no hesitation using them again, or recommending them to anyone.
What a great job they have done. Our driveway looks fantastic I would highly recommend Rose City Paving for anyone needing paving work in the future.

They did a good job. I have known them for quite a while. They have been in business for about 30 years.

After rescheduling twice, they flaked. Responsive to calls but didn't follow thru on actually doing the work. Unfortunately we had to find another paving contractor. We were looking forward to working with them...

Horrible! They ran out of product and had to come back the next day to finish the job. All looked well until it rained and a large pool formed in front of the garage. I called William several times and finally got a response. He said they would be out the next day to resolve the problem. He never showed or called. After several calls again, he came out to look and promised to fix it 'right away'. Well that didn't work either. Finally after sevral calls and missed appointments, they came out and put an ugly patch in front of the garage (while I was at work). That was not satisfactory and when it rained again, the water pooled around the patch again. Long story short, I ended up filing a complaint with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board and had a reputable company repair the mess Stanley made and re-seal the driveway. It took over a year to get the driveway fixed correctly. This company has been the subject of several complaints and television reports on shoddy work practices and yet he is still licensed to operate in Oregon. He changes the name of the company alot to get a new license and CCB number and continues to do shoddy work.

Tony was great on the scheduling, and on follow-up. When the season ran out on us in the first attempt, they got the repairs done, and then we put off the sealcoat until the following summer, which they followed up on per

This is one of the most responsive and dependable companies that I have dealt with. From the bid to job completion they were on time and responded to all of my questions. I wanted to know if seal coating would ****** moss growth, Nathan researched that question and reported that he could not guarantee it. I decided to proceed anyway because I had seen their work in my neighborhood. Process includes mechanical cleaning of the asphalt followed by two coats of seal coat. First coat has to dry before second coat is applied. Generally this can be done in one day. Crew took extra care with the edge next to a concrete pad. Overall experience was very positive.

I instructed them several times where water needed to drain, they paid no attention and had to rmove a 4X15' section to keep from flooding my backyard, after several years the front portion failed I offered to split the cost to repair and they blew me off, when i went to try and repair it my self the asphalt was 1" thick

It went great. They showed up on the morning they said and did an outstanding job, paying close attention detail. Jeff’s price was fair and I’ll be using him again in a few years.

Exceptionally well. ABC not only responded with RFQ quickly, but accommodated weather patterns to assure proper drying times on my long, tree-lined driveway. Had several areas of large pitting/cracking on which extra material was applied. Very pleased with a job well done!
