Recent Review: They were very efficient. The time frame when they complete the job was perfect. The follow through was fantastic. They answered our questions after the job was done. We were very pleased with their price as well. They even made the all of the cabinets in the kitchen as well and did an excellent job. Some of the things we requested them to do, they went above and beyond what they would normally do. I wished I could give them an A+.

Recent Review: Love my new kitchen! Even though I changed a couple of things, Jesse was able to give me what I wanted without charging me more money. His crew were very professional and easy to work with.
Recent Review: Amazing!! If you are looking for a contractor that can do everything this is the one!! He is there when he says he will be, always done on time exactly like you want it. He makes me want to do another project!! we have been in the valley a long time and have never found anyone as fair and reliable as Marc.
Recent Review: Phil far exceeded my expectations in my kitchen remodel. There were new kitchen cabinets, including a corner lazy Susan and pull out drawers for the pots and pans. The remodel included a new dishwasher and built a built in microwave. He also removed the old flooring, leveled the existing floor boards and installed new laminate flooring.
Recent Review: Kitchen looks fantastic, and was finished quickly considering how much was done. New cabinets, floor, countertops, sink, the works. Adam & Chris are great to work with, they even make friends with your pooch. My wife is thrilled.
Recent Review: We couldn't be happier! My wife loves her new kitchen. It is a very functional design and looks great. Tiffany was very professional, responsive, and detail oriented. She was a big help with ideas for getting things right. The the cabinets are well made and attractive. The granite work is first rate. The fireplace surround turned out better than we could have expected. Overall a very pleasant experience working with these friendly, competent people. I have since used them for additional cabinets and tile work.

Extremely happy with the new addition to our home. We added a mother-in-law suite, craft room, bonus room, mudroom and remodeled the kitchen. He was very professional throughout the entire process and helped us navigate through some unusual situations. He was very conscious about noise levels and keeping the building site clean. Very pleased with the final results.

AHARDLINE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION INC
When my flaky contractor in Seaside finked out on me with a garage full of kitchen cabinets, a farmhouse sink and over the stove microwave all ready to go, i turned to Angie's List for a contractor in Portland to see if anyone would be willing to drive to Seaside to do the project. Adam Lucas of Hardline Design was willing. He set out a plan of action, detailing everything and except for the unexpected delays due to winter weather, turned my old kitchen into a thing of beauty and function. He was precise and very particular that everything be done perfectly and properly.

They gutted all the way to the studs and to he sub floor. The results were very nice. They were very professional. They were suppose to start the job in July and by the end of August they still hadn't gotten it done. They were very fast once they got going. We understood they were very busy and at least they kept us informed of what was happening. We would use them again.

These guys do phenomenal work and they're genuinely good people, in stark contrast to so many contractors. I had a vague idea of what I wanted, and these guys helped hone it into something better than I could have imagined and built it with the skill of fine carpenters. This place is home now. Our smoke-ridden ugly 80s house is now the only place I want to be. It actually feels a little weird writing a review about them as a business because we've been working together for more than a year on such good terms that I consider them all friends. They coached us through the entire design and build process. They were always punctual, communicative and friendly. After tiling the entire bathroom, when they were installing the siding a nail accidentally broke one of the pieces of tile in the nook in the shower. Rather than do a half-assed fix, they ordered more tile from the company, removed all the tile surrounding the broken one, re-waterproofed and retiled it to make it right. They don't sacrifice quality for convenience. The staircase provider for the deck messed up the order multiple times, and rather than just install what they got mailed, they went to bat for us and made sure the staircase we got had railings close enough together to protect our two year old. We let them get creative with some stuff because our visions were so similar, and their hearts and talent really show through in the work, from the handmade shelf brackets to the kickass reclaimed accents. I've never lived somewhere I love so much as I do now. Hire them, no hesitations.

They have been wonderful. We actually changed one thing and they were really great about that. They have a project manager that has gotten back to us. The person that did the cabinetry work is doing a really great job. He will be doing the flooring also. They have also done a great job on the countertops.

FSolid Rock Granite
We recently did a kitchen remodel and selected solid rock granite in sisters OR to complete our countertop installation. Prior to selecting them we went to sisters and met the owner of the company Mike as well as his wife, he showed us the machine that he utelizes to cut the granite and told us about his lazer that he uses when templeting as no walls are square etc. He also has a small showroom of granite if you did not want to go to a granite supplier to pick out your own which was nice, we did however go to a granite supplier to pick our granite slabs. One of his workers came to measure for the instilation of our cabinets. He used only a tape measure (not the lazer that was previously discussed) and never made a template. Several days later they came to install the countertops. White they were here they moved a stove that was sitting on our newly installed slate floors and scratched that. They did attempt to buff it out however were unable to do so. I was left with a big scrach in one of the tile pieces. I was out of state when the instilation occured so my husband was here to see the instillation. When I returned needless to say I was less then pleased. There were gaps between the countertop and walls. I contacted the owner Mike to see what could be done, at this point I was less then impressed with his customer service skills and he began blamming it on me indicating that he was not told that we did not intent to have a tile backsplash (that would cover his mistakes) I was unaware that it was my job to know what information I needed to provide him, one would think maybe he would have asked instead of relying on a customer to tell him things that they had no clue he needed to know. We had a countertop installed between 2 floor to ceiling cabinets again not flush, he indicates that was the only way to get it in without scratching the cabinets. Although I am thankful he did not scratch my cabinets it looks awful, it was filled with a sylicone to try to disquise it. In my conversation he was rude, took no responsibility, and appeared put out that I was asking him to fix what he did so poorly the first time, and that he would have to drive from Sisters back to Prineville (about 45 minutes) I ended up ending the conversation telling him that I would figure out a way to fix it myself and hung up. Approx a week and a half/2 weeks later he called back and spoke to my husband, at this time he did offer to come back and scribe into the drywall so that they would be flush. I denied his request in seeing his poor quality of work the first time I did not want him back in my house to do poor craftsman ship a second time. It would have required removing the countertops and scribing into the drywall which I was disinterested in giving him the oppurtunity to screw that up as well. He did at that time also offer to pay to have the tile that he scratched replaced. However when i received the final bill he never took anything off for that either. I was left forced to spend more money and place a tile backsplash throughout my kitchen even in places there is no water ie: behind a desk etc. Less than impressed with this company, I had a couple other granite installers look at their work and they too were shocked and less then impressed. NOT a company that I would ever plan to do business with again. When one spends this kind of money I expected not only a more professional experience but better craftsmanship.

AMatthew G Hunter
We were seriously contemplating selling our house so that we could move into a smaller community, but knew that our kitchen/dining room needed some updating. Some of the walls had old, dark paneling and we also had quite a few cracks in the walls due to the house shifting over time. Matt Hunter had given us a ballpark estimate to fix the walls in our kitchen several months before we finally decided it was time to get it done. Thanks to some suggestions by Matt and a little more work on our part, we were able to save a fair amount of money. He repaired all the cracks in our walls, removed the paneling and even found an quick, economical way to remove the wallpaper we discovered underneath. Once he was finished, all we had to do was paint the walls. Matt always does a great job and is always looking out for our best interests at the same time. This project is a good example of that.
