Wow!! Mark is fantastic! Exceptionally skilled and fun to work with. We needed a bathroom remodel to accommodate a wheelchair. Mark was very aware of the work site requirements, cleaned up everyday, very patient with all my changes, made my dads bathroom remodel enjoyable. And, Oh My Gosh!!! He made this bathroom look like the cover of a magazine. Stained concrete floor, beautiful reclaimed barn board, corrugated metal shower, live edge shelves, and vanity top, way beyond my expectations!! His eye for design is amazing! I have two more projects to do, I will definitely have him back!!

Marc was a pleasure to work with on this project. He offered his ideas and inspiration as well as solving the issues that tend to arise with an older home. My guests are truly enjoying this new bathroom. His depth of knowledge and his willingness to find fresh solutions to sticky problems was very much appreciated. He kept a clean workspace and did what he could to mitigate noise while I worked at home. I would definitely hire Marc Spaeth again. He's a good guy!

Mike gave me a bid which was in my budget and proceeded to do the work promptly. He helped me pick out the materials I wanted and helped me deliver them to the rental property site in his truck. The work included repositioning the toilet and shower plumbing and the heater venting; installing a new toilet, full surround bath tub and shower, new toilet, new vanity and mirror, shelving and hardware. A new mosaic tile floor was also installed. When installing the new tub and shower an additional end wall and corner was required and built by Mike. When all was complete the walls were primed and repainted. Mike gave detail a priority and when all was done it was perfect. He is a very talented and diverse craftsman.

ABulldog Construction
I cannot say enough about Bulldog Construction. Mike and Kathryn are a true team: Kathryn comes out and does the initial measuring, product explanation, samples, and bid, all professionally done with great communication. I had initially thought to just do a cabinet refacing in the kitchen, but when she asked me what had bugged me about the kitchen for years, she was very creative in offering solutions, all within my budget and price-conscious. The various options were clearly outlined, and it became very easy to choose. Mike comes out before the start of the project and does a final measure. The kitchen project included cabinet refacing, additional tall cabinet next to the refrigerator, a moving up and out of cabinets above the stove, installing new drawers in a previously unusable space, and two pull out shelves for pots and pans. The bathroom remodel included building a brand new vanity, taking the old shower down to open walls, installing backing for the new fixtures, waterproofing and prepping entire area, building a shower pan, tiling from floor to ceiling using a design from me, and finally tiling the floor. I am incredibly impressed with Mike's quality of work, the details, the true caring about his work and pleasing the customer (he has high standards in customer satisfaction), his communication about the project, his promptness and integrity. I could count on his word. He was also careful in creating the least disturbance, cleaning up after the job each day. Mike is a pleasure to talk to, although don't expect him to take a break - he works hard all day! All of the above was completed in three weeks (kitchen one week, bathroom two weeks). I cannot recommend them highly enough!!

AAccurate Plumbing Solutions Inc
We have a home that was built in 1973.  Both bathrooms have the old shower / tub combination.  Our master bath had a Green steel tub that looked horrible and was too narrow (Only 18" of space to stand in when showering).  The shower head was set too low because of a soffit.  All in all, our master bath looked bad and was not comfortable either.  So we asked Accurate Plumbing for a bid on removing the old tub / shower combination and installing a new low rise custom shower.  They came out and looked at what we had and made several suggestions to go along with what we were thinking.  Then they got back to us (within just a couple of days) with a bid that fit our budget for the project.  They proposed removing the old tub / shower combo, removing the soffit, installing a new ceiling, installing a custom made 36" wide cultured marble shower pan with cultured marble walls that went all the way to a new ceiling height of 8', raising the shower head up to a height that would suit a 6'6" person, installing all new Delta shower controls and head, a water proof light in the shower, a seat in the corner, a "grab bar, and a large shower "caddy" to hold soap and shampoo etc. and a new shower door.  We accepted their bid and asked that they start as soon as possible.  Within just a few days, they called us back and set a date.  Lisa Crumley was our project manager.  She set up everything; coordinated all of the sub contractors that were required (sheetrock, electrical, marble etc.)  Lisa's project management skills are incredible!!  Every aspect of the job ran like a fine Swiss watch.  Russ (our lead plumber) arrived on the agreed upon date and on time and got right to work.  Within one day, they had all of the demo work done and the new rough in plumbing accomplished.  Right behind that was the electrician, then the drywall people, then the marble people, and finally Russ was back to install the finish plumbing.  Just before the project got started we found a really incredible new shower door and bought it.  We asked Lisa if they could pick up the new door and give us credit for the original door that was in the bid.  No problem.  Lisa managed it all with style.  When the finish plumbing was done, the shower door installed arrived and did a fantastic job of installing the door.  All in all, the whole project took a total of 3 days to complete.  On top of that, and at the same time, we also had a new vanity, sink, and faucet set installed, with no setback in the timing.  At no point in the whole process was there any mess in the house, and they did not leave the bathroom open to the attic or crawl space when they went home at night.  Every thing was clean and neat when they were finished.  The great thing was that all of the work was done according to the bid (there were no increases in cost), the work was done on time, and within the amount of time (3 days) that was specified.  Thanks to Lisa's superior management skills, and Russ's attention to detail, we are the proud owner's of a fabulous new master bath.  If you are thinking of getting rid of that old colored steel tub and upgrading your bath, Accurate Plumbing is the company to hire.  We could not be more pleased.  Our only problem now is trying to figure out when we can have our other bathroom remodeled.  Fabulous Job!!!!

FBest Bid Painting and Construction
Lousy. He built a shower wall and glued it to the existing wall, instead of putting in a stud to secure it with. One mishap in the shower and the whole wall would come toppling down. He left a couple of long screws, sideways, in the toilet plumbing and we all know how that would eventually turn out. All over the bathroom floor. He didn't know what he was doing so someone else is finishing the work. I didn't take a photo but I'm sure you can imagine.

APaul Gareau Construction
Paul Gareau coordinated our bathroom remodel, bringing in subcontractors to do electrical, plumbing, sheetrock, cabinets, tile and glasswork. Paul stayed on top of the work and scheduled the subcontract work well, losing almost no time between tasks. Additionally, Paul and his assistant did the construction portions of the job, following the plans of our designer. They were careful to protect our floors (coming in and out) and cleaned up after each day. Their work was excellent, including taking care of out-of-plumb walls and needing to shim and even adapt the redwood frame around a wooden window. His team of subcontractors also did excellent work. When one of them (the cabinet makers) did not follow the plans and brought pieces that did not fit what we had requested or the plans, Paul worked with them and though rebuilding delayed the project, the final product was what we had requested. The bill fit the quote we were given at the beginning of the job, except for a small additional electrical expense and an item left off the bid which we had to pay additional for. We were pleased with both Paul's construction quality and his management of the whole project. We had chosen not to get competing bids so, though we felt the cost was high (e.g. $710 for painting) at $17,000+, we accepted it. All in all, I would recommend Paul Gareau Construction for remodeling and trust him to skillfully manage a complex job and follow the plans provided.
