Absolute WORST construction job ever. I live in Tulsa, OK and went through Community Builders Inc., and had a total of 3 service calls with them and spent over $10,000 dollars for labor only. The first initial call was to put in the new toilets and walk-in shower. At first everything seemed okay, and the shower & toilet (looks wise) seemed great/well put together (it was behind the scenes that was the real problem). We hadn't noticed until a couple weeks later that the first service man who remodeled the bathroom set some sort of tool on the bathroom porcelain counter top which somehow melted a huge 3 inch mark on the white porcelain. A month to two months later we started having issues. The carpet in the bedroom that was connected to the bathroom started to get soaked, and you could clearly see that there was standing water in the shower drain about three-fourths of the way full ( which never drained, and know one had even used the shower for at least 3 days). I called Williams plumbing services and they clearly stated this was not normal. So we called them to come back and check the issues at no cost to us. When the worker came out we specifically told/showed him where the puddles of water were occurring on the bedroom carpet, as well as the standing water in the drain. The worker did nothing at all about the carpet flooding issues. He proceeded to the drain to put cocking around the middle to top part of the drain saying that was the issue and that the original installer failed to do so, and that would fix the flooded carpet/ standing water in drain. Then, a few weeks pass and water started to flood out from the wall that was separating the shower and the toilet, which then travelled to the bedroom carpet again causing it to get soaked. On top of that, the water from that bathroom travelled into the second bathroom we have and soaked that bathroom's closet carpet. Of course this could cause some serious mildew issues and mildew/staining on the wall that the water was leaking from. So we called them to come out for a third time, again at no charge to us. They sent the same guy from the 2nd job (who only put cocking in the drain) along with another man who was said to be "his boss" to the house for a third time to fix the issues. This time they decided it was time to open up the wall to check the plumbing issues. I went into the bedroom next to the bathroom to listen to them and I could see/hear the "boss man" instructing the guy from the 2nd job on how to fix the pipe problem. This infuriates me to know end due to the fact that this explains why the same man from the second job didn't even bother to check the pipes because HE HAD NO IDEA WHAT HE WAS DOING. Please explain to me why this company would send over this man BY HIMSELF to fix a flooding issue (that likely has to do with the pipes) when he clearly couldn't do something like this on his own. I was speechless. Once they were done, I asked the "boss man" if this was going to fix the flooding of the carpets AND THE STANDING WATER IN THE DRAIN. He said yes all the problems are fixed. Once they left I went to look into the drain with a flashlight and the water was still standing three-fourths of the way up the drain. Words cannot express how dissatisfied I am. I do not trust a lot of people with all the crazy things going on in the world today, therefore I did not want to buck up to these two very large men in the house when there were only women in the house at that time. So I decided to handle this a different way. The neglect this company has shown is ridiculous. ------The damages associated with these 3 jobs: 3 inch melted indention on the bathroom counter top, mildew on the bedroom carpet near remodeled bathroom and mildew on the bathroom down the halls closet carpet, and mildew/stained on the wall connected to the new walk in shower. Some people have told me to keep going to that company and some how make them fix the issues they have caused. Which I agree could be done, but I'm so scarred by the botched job and all the money spent that I would rather spend more money (that we done have), then even consider asking this company to come back out. Getting something as simple as new windows installed may be ok (if your hovering over them), but I recommend that if the job is more complex or more expensive that you DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY EVER. This is my experience in Tulsa, OK. As far as other states/cities go, BEWARE.
