PLEASE DON'T USE THIS CONTRACTOR. His business description states, " Billing; We take a material deposit at the beginning of the project(no more than 20% of the total project) & recieve the final payment when our customer is completely satisfied with the project." and also his contract, which he hand wrote in, states "Material deposit requested, Paid upon completion". I hired this contractor (who was not the least expensive) because he could also do some interior wood work and painting and could get to me soon. I was relatively pleased with the quality of the paint job until I found out that what had been done up to that point was not the primer coat, but the finished product. Construction debris (boards, paint cans, worker's lunch trash, caulk tubes, etc) was left on my driveway for several days until I asked to have it removed before the weekend. I was given excuses, but they did remove it before I got home Friday night. Little attempt was made to clean up at days end, with ladders and equipment scattered all over the yard. One evening he texted me that the job was complete and he needed payment immediately. The job was NOT complete and he had not even started the interior work. He began threatening me and continued until nearly 11:00 PM. I decided to release him from the rest of the contract minus the fee for the unfinished interior. They left numerous paint and caulk drips on the front porch, back patio, and shrubs. They broke a landscaping light fixture, damaged plants, got overspray on the light fixture at back door, left a paint handprint on an upstairs window, tore a screen, and cracked the corner of another window with the ladder. They left paint cans and trash in the back yard, and left my hose out with paint all over it. There is a ring of paint on my wrought iron table where they put their 5 gallon paint can.
