Recent Review: Mr George usually showed up at 10:30am  six days a week with all materials on hand. He and his crew worked hard throughout the workday.  He and his crew took a one hour lunch break everyday. He had all his own tools on hand ready for the workday. He never had to make a return trip because he forgot a tool. He made steady progress with the project and finished on time. I had him cut the flagstone into squares and rectangles to match the pattern I wanted.  He did a great job and I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting a patio, driveway, retaining wall, or other stone/block done.

Recent Review: really well! considering it was a bathroom/laundry that was out of commission. His wife and daughters ofter worked at the site and offered suggestion for decor and decortaing. They cleaned up perfectly every day and were quiet, clean and respectful. The subcontractor was excellent and I admire that he got a sub for parts of the job that he wanted done perfectly. I felt comfortable leaving for babysitting or shopping with them here on their own. I will use them when I redo my other bath and then the kitchen next year.

Leaking in my laundry room caused damage to my walls, had to build a platform for washer and dryer (concrete slab floor very unlevel) replaced and repaired walls, laid tile floor, texture my walls, trimmed and painted walls, actually hooked up my washer and dryer. He replaced my light fixture at no extra cost, (Rheumatoid Arthritis keeps me from doing many jobs myself)

Strong estimate! Started work early in day and finish before 5 pm.. Good with pets; would chain dogs for safety and unchain when finished (promised to watch and intervene if dogs become tangled or turnover water). Kept building waste in 2 large piles and cleaned up after major stages of work completed. Finished project in a timely manner with just a few weather related delays. Have had two minor problems with outcome (loose siding trim at top edge of wall that I understand can only be glued) and they were quick to come and address. Seem concerned that we are happy with quality of work--no complaints here. Would recommend to a friend.

Robert shows up EXACTLY when he says he will. He has never been late. If I have to leave a message for him I know that I'll get a return call that very same day. Some of the items he fixed had been chronic problems. Once Robert lays his hand on them, there's never again an issue. He does quality work for fair prices. I cannot say enough great things about Dirty Deeds!!

Mr. Denton is a great guy but is not on job site.  He maintains normal job during the day and leaves his subs unsupervised.  Subs are of other ethnic backgrounds and have no concept of being on time.  They show up when they want and leave when they want.  They take full advantage of the 2 hour siesta.  Job would have been completed in a lot less time if they had not had to do so much rework.  They would show up at 11am, get set up, then go to lunch, then want to work till 8-9pm.  They won't work on Saturday's becase that is their church day but, then want to work on Sunday which is your church day.  If you have any experiennce with building check everything, concrete, plumbing, electrical, drywall, everything!  Walk your job site and look for waste. We did on ours and found tons of waste.  thousands of wasted nails, prime lumber wasted, and lots of food trash.  They will leave it pretty much where is falls.  Be sure to check things for being square.  Not a wall or ceiling in my structure is square. Make sure to get a peak at things before walls get drywalled. Don't assume that because these guys do this for a living they know what they are doing.  General things like framing out door openings.  You would think they would know what size to rough doors in.  They driveway had slope in it that would bring water back to the building instead of taking it away.  Just be careful.  Like I said, Mr. Denton is a great guy but, if you have problems call him only.  Don't expect to call the office becasue the office can be a bit abrasive and defend their.  The bottom line is the less they spend on subs the greater the bottom line is in profit....So who suffers?  You do, the customer.

It went really well. The man who runs the quarry is very helpful with suggesting what would work best for your job. Very trusting. I paid him, but didn't have to until the mason picked up the rocks for the job.

FK & M CONSTRUCTION
In August of 2010 Kand M Construction did a big job for me. He tour out an existing patio, poured  and extended a new patio which we enclosed. He built me a new storage building. He also took out two walls in my kitchen to open up area for an office space and give the room an open feeling. The problem is that he got a permit for ONLY COVERING AN EXISTING PATIO. He either did not know how to build an enclosed patio or he chose to short cut the job. Since he did not have a permit for what he actually did there were no inspections made along the way. I did not know I had a problem until it rained and my new sun room was standing in water. What he should done was build a cement wall to keep water out instead he use cheap grade of wood and bear in mind I have electricty in my sun room. He stained my concrete which you should see it looks awful and he will not make it right because he got mad at me for calling in city inspectors to make him fix the problem with water leaking into my patio. I'm not sure if he just does not know to properly build a sunroom or if since he DID NOT get correct permits he knew there would be no inspections therefore he could do a cheaper and improper job for me.     So if you use him please make sure he gets permits for the actual work being done. He is very nice until you need him to come back and make things right then he was a different person. By that I mean he was not so willing to help me and not such a nice guy. Good Luck Lavonne Abbott
