My mother in law was in dire need of bathroom repairs. I contacted multiple companies for bids. Rodger was very quick to respond to my call for an estimate. His estimate came in a timely manner and included most everything requested done. His crew was timely each day and worked with only lunch breaks taken. They didn't rush any of the jobs in spite of my request to speed up the process so I could see the end products! The end products were beautiful! The master bathroom went from a very tiny one person room to a large walkin bathroom with gorgeous tiled floors and tub/shower surround! Rodger's son Brent built a beatiful cabinet that adds so much elegance to the room. The guest bathroom transformed from not being able to use to a bathroom you never want to leave! It didn't undergo as much work, but the work done in there with the tiling, corner shower addition and pocket door is beautiful. The hall bathroom had the least amount done but what was done turned out lovely as well. Rodger and crew were a pleasure to work with. They were always friendly and respectful to her home (though covering of the master bedroom during the tear down of the master bedroom would have eleviated so much unnecessary dust. I do think this was just an oversight though.). Already considering hiring them for other much needed repairs for other parts of the house!

We hired DH Remodeling to build an addition and do a full home remodel. Idan the compny owner was ( Lucky us) our project manager and he was great to work with. He was easy to communicate with, and tried to work during the planning and proposal phase. JOSE, the construction foreman, and his crew, were also always friendly and professional. The end results are beautiful and the project was on-time and on-budget for the most part, but it wasn’t completely painless. It’s not like an HGTV show where you just hand off the project, they do all the work, and you come back to a completely perfect home. While Idan gives great design idan provide us 3D design, and suggests places to shop at where he gets discounts, he even send his designer to shop with us and its was very efficiency(save us allot of time and money) the job done on time and we so happy with resolts ,. Overall, it was a good experience with great results, and we highly recommend DH Remodeling and IDAN you was great thnks allot.

AStanley Scott Master Craftsman
Stanley Scott Master Craftsman did very excellent work. We thought the price was quite affordable because he did a good bit of rebuilding in the bathroom. He gave very, very good suggestions, easy to work with, and the think we liked best is that his practice is to focus on only one project at a time so he was here continuously rather than going from here to other projects and back when he could. We were able to get the project on course very nicely. He was here three or four weeks working on that. I thought he did a very good job. He was always right on time.

ABobby Moore Construction
He has stood by his work. If I find something that is not to my satisfaction, he has come back and fixed it. He drove down from Springfield and fixed a leak without making it a problem.

He works with clients really well I feel like he understood exactly what I needed and wanted done. We are now selling the home and everyone who walks into the house has great things to say about his work. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needed anything done. The cost and value of his work is tremendous not only that his estimate came in well under the cost of a lot of other good contractors. He provided quality work and quality driven products I would without a doubt use him again.

AHenleys Remodel And Repair
I am very happy with the work done by the Henley family. The work was done well and they always arrived when they told me they would. Besides the work, it was a joy to meet and get to know them. We will call them again when we need general remodeling work around the house.

Jess provided an estimate that included all aspects of the project and proved to be inline with the final cost. Once we agreed to the deliverables the Service Connection team arrived promptly as promised and delivered quality service. The first team arrived to clear rooms, lay protective flooring and ready the work areas. Once the tile, stone and granite were picked, experienced team members handled each step of the remodeling. In addition to granite counters in the working area of the kitchen I asked for a stone counter/bar to be added - Jess had the quarry cut the stone to our specifications. In the bathroom they removed the fiberglass shower and replaced it with tile and a fameless door and replaced a window with glass block. The shower door needed to be cut-to-fit and the tile was laid to complement the existing fixtures. Not only did Jess and his team deliver to the terms of the contract, but they provided services beyond the agreed scope. Not part of the agreement, but services they provided above and beyond included - electric cable laid for the porch; an additonal electrical outlet in the bathroom; replaced electrical outlets (that didn't match) in the kitchen; painted the bathroom and moved some furniture to/from other rooms. I'm satisfied. It looks great. Service Connection provided excellent, hassle-free service..

Recent Review: Crowdsourcing site for interior and architectural design. Interesting service and if you are comfortable with internet shopping and a little risk, IMHO, worth the cost. My project: Redesigning kitchen and family room (great room concept) and we needed interior design/style advise for the project. The site posts a "competition" for the project, you determine what amount of money to offer for the competition (site recommends an amount, but the customer is free to change if needed.) Within 20 days, we had 20 designers signed up for our competition from all over the world. In the end, 8 designers submitted designs. We picked our top 4, rated all designs and the top three were selected based on ratings -- one from France, USA and Serbia. Honorable Mention went to country of Georgia. First, second and third place received a portion of the award money. Pros and Cons: You, the customer, must be comfortable with the risk of paying for something and not knowing if you'll like the result. For me, this was part of the process and an acceptable risk. You don't have a face to face consultation. The site has a "wall" where you can post ideas, photos, communication with the designers or architects. I resolved this by posting my houzz.com design book on the wall to give designers ideas of our likes, dislikes, etc. You can also post requirements and constraints for your project. Toward the end of the competition (a deadline is set when you submit a project) a lot of communication occurs with the architects and designers. Expect it, it's part of the process. The website is fairly rudimentary. Online/chat help is available but is somewhat hit and miss. You can send designs to friends and family to rate. This is helpful in making a decision. Overall, we got a number of ideas between the designers and were very pleased with the process and project.

Recent Review: No matter how much we scrubbed our porcelain tile shower, the white tiles always looked discolored and the grout lines would show signs of mold/mildew. Surface Renew uses a product called Multispec that is a coating that they spray over existing tile and grout to not only give it a new look but also seal the grout lines. Multispec has a stone-like finish, so it is really pretty. We used the light brown finish, so no more white tile! It is supposed to be highly mold and mildew resistant, but not enough time has passed yet to tell if it can withstand the test of time. It is supposed to last years. Bob Kennedy came over to do our shower and he was very nice and professional. There were some spots that I could tell were not sprayed as heavily as others, and he gladly came back to touch up a few days later. I once was ashamed of our shower, and now I'm proud of it. There are a lot of fumes associated with spraying the Multispec coating, so be prepared for that. Open lots of windows. It takes about 24-48 hours to dry fully, which is a rather short period in my opinion, so you don't have to wait forever to use the shower again. We are going to have Surface Renew come out to spray the Multispec coating on our tub surround as well so the shower and tub match. We will also be using them to refinish our kitchen countertops and give them a granite-like look. If you are thinking of remodeling, I would recommend considering resurfacing. You can get things to look like new again or even better than before, and you save a lot of money not tearing things out and replacing them.

Recent Review: I have used them because of the guarantee and I have used them before, that's why I use them again. If you have any problem they'll come and fix it or else replace it for you. Although they're a little pricey, I would say overall they're excellent.
