FALL PHASE ELECTRIC
Service provided failed within 48 hours of installation. Was promised a return service call to fix the problem, and after a month now have never heard from them again. They were paid in full when they completed the job. Also, never received an itemized receipt specifying labor, parts, service call charges.

AKen Smith Electric
He is wonderful. The price was very reasonable. He is very efficient. When he comes in here, he gets the job done. He doesn't waste any time. When it's done, it's done right and we don't have any return visits from him. The only time we ever had to have him come back out on anything was because the item we bought turned out to be defective from the manufacturer and he's the one that figured it out and told us that we have to wait for another one to come in and have him come back to put it in. He is very personable, very polite, very neat and extremely knowledgeable about his business. He is very professional.

FTROTTER ELECTRIC INC
without the hall light on keeping my daughter awake at night. We were told this was done by the previous owner and WERE BILLED FOR REWIRING THE CEILING FAN. We had a ceiling fan put in the living room, it too was wired wrong, both switches turned on the light, neither turned on the fan. WE WERE BILLED FOR REWIRING THE FAN. We needed plate covers installed on the junction boxes for the ceiling fans that they failed to provide with the services. We could not get the attic insulated without the junction boxes. We were told these were installed by a previous owner, however they were for the 3 celing fans they installed. WE WERE BILLED TO HAVE THE REQUIRED COVERS PLACED ON THE JUNCTION BOXES. The switch plate covers were all installed crooked on the walls. Billing was sent months later for the services with threatening notes. When called to remind "Mary" most of the billing was for fixing work done incorrectly she said it was done by the previous owners. No new lighting was ever installed in the home since the home was built. Be very careful of the hourly rate, they work with one man watching the other working slowly and leave for supplies frequently. YOU WILL BE BILLED AND THREATENED FOR PAYMENT FOR WORK DONE INCORRECTLY AND NOT UP TO CODE. THe bills come late, so you think they are fixing the work done incorrectly. Company is a scam, unreliable, poor quality and cut corners and work is not up to code. You will be billed for their breaks and time not on the job.

APound's Paint and Remodeling
It is beautiful! Many details were very tricky. They painted our shiny honey oak spindle stair rails black and our honey oak base boards and trim white. I wanted the living room and my daughter's bedroom painted dark gray. The bedroom looked great, but when I saw the dark gray on the living room walls, I panicked. I talked with them and decided to go a shade lighter gray for the living room. They mixed a gallon of extra white into the 3 gallons of gray and it turned out perfect. Sherri Pound is an expert at cutting a straight line between colors. Our dining room is navy blue with intricate white chair rail, trim and baseboards. She kept perfectly straight lines between the two colors. They were also very fair on the price. They cut 2 days pay off the price of a 16 day job because the paint didn't cover as well as they expected and they had to paint additional coats. They also said they will come back and fix any problems I find. There are a few places that need touched up and one place they missed cutting in and painting the trim (under the built-in desk in the kitchen). I haven't contacted them about it yet. So, if they happen not to do what they said, I will amend my recommendation. However, due to the fair and professional behavior I have seen so far, I will be shocked if that happens. Pounds Paint and Remodeling does the kind of work you always hope a contractor will do, but in reality, find it rarely happens. I highly recommend them for the quality of their work, fairness of their price, and their pleasant attitude throughout the job.

AMike's Home Repair & Remodeling
The construction project went OUTSTANDING. In fact, based upon talking to Mike (prior to writing up a contract) The wife and I decided, with Mike's help that we could also afford to expand an existing bedroom that was next to the construction area. Several customized features were performed by Mike that increased the quality of the project and made it more meaningful for us. With the extra work of expanding a child's room, Mike worked with us (in the construction contract) by us performing some construction items that we were comfortable with (e.g. attic insulation, tiling, etc.) in order to help offset the increased costs of the "extra work" associated with expansion of the bedroom. We made payments to Mike based on the % of completion. Things went so well and I trusted Mike so much that I made the final payment prior to the trim, touch-ups, etc. being completed. Mike did not disappoint me, and he asked me for a punchlist of all the trim/touch-up items we were aware of. Mike came back, after we completed the tile as agreed upon, and took care of the trim/ touch-up items. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use Mike again for a construction project. He is honest and he does what he says. He has a very good eye and mind for details. The little is important to him and he is passionate about the project looking great. He did not cut any corners with our project and he used high quality building materials.
