Recent Review: Kelli was SUPER helpful in explaining their process.  They have NO contract, just a monthly fee that you pay, like your car insurance bill.  You HOPE you never need to use it, but IF you do.....then it is sure nice to have that coverage.  Also, there is NOT a $75.00 service call fee every time you need to have a repair person visit your home.  Just the usual monthly fee, which is based upon your choice of available plans and options that you select when you sign up.  Basically, you only pay for what you need and you are not double, or triple billed for services from an UNknowledgeable or UNskilled service technician at a time you can least afford it.  Their service plans are clearly explained on their web site ((( https://www.completeprotection.net/ ))), and they also CLEARLY explain their limits on replacements on their web site as well.  Keep in mind, they seem to be more REPAIR ORIENTED rather than for REPLACEMENTS and if your item is too old or unworthy of repair, they will pay only a small portion towards a replacement item.  The small amount they do pay towards the replacement if you need it, is listed on the web site.  This helps to keep their fees down as well ! ! !  Another nice feature is that they have a list of repair companies that they will give you, so you can call and schedule your own repair, once you have a Repair Authorization Number from CAP.  The repair companies they suggest are familiar with the CAP process, and will bill CAP directly for the work.  Now if you have a favorite service provider that you prefer to use, that is no problem.  If that provider is unfamiliar with billing CAP, you can pay the provider yourself and CAP reimburses you within 10 to 14 days from the time they receive your bill.  (((Just remember to get the Repair Authorization Number from CAP BEFORE having your work done.)))  Also nice, is if you have an older home, they don't seem to have all the exclusions we read about from the other companies.       We have a home in Henderson, Nevada that we plan to rent out this fall.  We want the tenants to have reliable and trustworthy service folks available to them if they need someone.  We have read the horror stories on Angie's List, for some of the other Home Warranty options out there and some of the service providers as well.  (((You know the ones......service provider is called and MAYBE shows up when expected, or maybe not.  MAYBE they fix the problem for the $75.00 service call fee, maybe not.  MAYBE the problem is fixed this week, next week, or maybe not at all.))) Also, even though our home is new, we want to limit our financial exposure for any HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Appliance problems.  We live out of state, but still want our tenants to get quality service when necessary.  For us anyway, the choice is clear.  Complete Appliance Repair.   Oh yeah, and Angie's List of course !! Reviews in Coweta for Installing Lightning Protection Systems

ADonohue's Lightning Rods
Donohue’s lightning protection done me a wonderful job. Our neighbors house was struck and it scared us so we did some researching and found there company. There was 300 miles between us and Seamus said that was no problem he will start our way because he had a high call volume in our area. After weighing our options we decided to have Donohue’s do it and I couldn’t be happier we feel much safer in our home.

David arrived 15 minutes early and got to work.  He was very interesting to talk to about electrical issues in general and will probably have him do whole home surge protection next.

AAdvance Alarms, Inc.
I bought this house in 2007. When I moved in it had no security features whatsoever. I called Advance Alarms because they had been the Alarm company my Landlord had used on my Condo previously and he highly recommended them. First one of their staff came out and met me and we went through the home discussing options, my plans, what I wanted, etc. Then the technician came out about a week later. He was a real friendly guy and it was a fairly big job. At one point he had some assistance from another tech. It took them all day, and they cleaned up afterwards (minor stuff, some drilling dust, wire clippings, etc) and showed me the ins and outs of the system. The system has worked great from that time on. Fast-forward till now. In May, after the tornadoes came through the neighborhood, there was a lot of workers, utility employees, Tree Service guys, Insurance adjusters, roofers, handymen etc etc around doing repairs.... and using this cover, the burglars were also out in force. The burglars, seeing my alarm stickers, shut off power to my house thinking this might disable the alarm. Then they climbed up onto the roof and broke out a skylight to gain entry, probably thinking they were avoiding door and window sensors that way. Which they were. Course, when they dropped down into my home they dropped down right in front of one of my motion sensors! Bam! They fled out the back door leaving their own tools on the roof and taking nothing of mine, however I had a broken skylight to fix. There was another problem, however. I now use VOIP as my main phone service, and the alarm's modem has a hard time connecting to the central office to report trouble. Combine that with the facts the crooks shut off my power--- what if they had gone the extra step and cut the cable and phone lines as well? The alarm would never report in.... So I called up Advance Alarms. Despite the fact they were very busy due to the storm damage (lightning strikes and alarms = not good) when I explained the break-in they immediately prioritized my call. The next day I was available another technician came out and installed a Radio Transmitter. Now, when my alarm goes off, it won't matter if the power is cut, the phone line is cut, or the cable line is cut. Advance Alarms gets the alarm signal.... I also upgraded my alarm with a key fob that allows me to dis-arm and arm the system remotely (think from the car, etc) and I love this! It's made the alarm as easy and convienenent as using my car alarm. The monitoring fee is higher then the standard phone monitoring ($30 a month, but that's because the Radio is leased, you can't buy it.) and it's an extra monitoring feature. I no longer have to worry about the smarter crooks trying to disable the alarm system from notifying--- it won't work. I'm very happy with the alarm system and the service. They are always friendly and professional and I can recommend them highly.

AWhitney and Sons Electric Co
Excellent electrician! I called Mr. Whitney and received an estimate over the phone. He arrived at our house on time and did the work for the agreed upon cost. He installed the new lights with no ceiling damage and protected our floors and furniture. He also advised me on a future project. He is knowledgeable and professional .

FDNA Electrical Services Inc
Bathroom receptacles were not working.  Bought special from Angies List $99.00 for two hours of electrical labor.  DNA Electrical came to the house to provide the electrical services purchased. David with DNA said he didn't have enough time to fix the problems.  He said he looked in the attic and saw where the house was probably struck by lightning and had multiple electrical issues.  He would have to replace the whole fuse box among other things.  It would cost a couple thousand dollars but he couldn't help now because it required too much time.  He would credit the $99.00 and apply it to work he would have to do when we called him to do the job. I told him no thank you I will have someone else give me a second opinion.   I called a friend and asked him for a certified electrician referral.  I called the referral and he was out in two days and repaired the problem in five (5) minutes.  Checked the attic and several outlets all around the house to make sure there were no other problems. He said there is no way that the house was hit by lightning and said the only problem was a bathroom receptacle with loose wire on the patio receptacle.

AElectric City
The fault was something I could not have guessed and certainly not have repaired on my own.  Their intuition based on experience led them to the location of the problem without a lot of digging, and they fixed it with minimum invasion of walls and structure.  I'm impressed.  The "B" on professionalism is not about their demeanor, they were very polite and engaging - just that I was not entirely comfortable with their deployment of tools on the wooden floors and area rugs without protection, though no damage resulted.

AGILLEY ELECTRIC CO
We had Gilley out on three separate occasions to perform the aforementioned work. Each crew was prompt in arriving, calling to let us know that they were on their way. Each crew was courteous, and very professional in carrying out their work. Each crew took precautions to protect carpet and furniture and cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend Gilley Electric for any electrical work. We will use no one but Gilley Electric for all of our electrical needs. One other note, David Burke is the company representative we have worked with. His job estimates were always accurate and never an over-charge or surprise.

ATSG Renovations
I have waited to write this review for 6 weeks. The reason being to watch for any unforeseen problems in the materials or workmanship. There has been none. Everything has been 100%. I obtained 4 bids, all from Angies list, for this was a major project. I choose James and Yana because they very caring and helpful. The other bidders were attempting to sell me their ideas on how the project was to be done, but James and Yana listened to how I wanted the kitchen to be done. My wife and I had talked about and planned this kitchen. Sadly she passed away a year ago, but told me to continue with the projects that we had planned together. It hurts that she is not here to enjoy these final projects to our home. Yana helped me with colors and material. I would have been lost without her input. She provided me with ideas and suggestions on the cabinets, colors and other options. With her guidance everything came out perfect.  James and his crew are very professional and polite. They know their stuff. They worked from the time they got here till the time they left. Always picked up after themselves and were very punctual. I had been a contractor myself at one time and never have I seen a better run organization. James always kept me informed of what was going on, what to expect and if I had any questions or concerns. The communications was excellent. He even went above and beyond by repairing other items not in the contract at no charge. I believe he may have pictures of my kitchen on his website, I have not looked, but everyone that comes to the house and sees it are amazed on the beautiful kitchen James and Yana created. I highly recommend THE SERVICE GUY!!!!

APrecise Home Specialties
It was a great experience working with Jonathan and his crew. This home has been rented for the previous 5 years, so it needed quite a bit of work. I moved in and started doing the work myself but soon determined I needed a professional. They were timely and careful, as the home had furnishings in it. The level of professionalism was outstanding. They covered and protected everything and when they were here working, they worked! They definitely went the extra mile and completed many tasks that were not a part of the original bid. They arrived on time each day and basically only stopped for lunch. We had to move out of the house due to the scope of work to be done, but they actually finished sooner than anticipated so we were back in earlier than expected. Upon completion, they moved all the furniture back into place using photos they had previously taken as a guide. They left things as clean as they could and hauled away debris, like the old doors and fixtures too. As a Realtor, finding a contractor like Jonathan is a blessing. He is responsive and timely, and runs a tight ship. His company also replaced a roof for a client of mine in conjunction with a sale and that job also went flawlessly and the deal closed on time. I have another project that I am going to use Precise Home Specialties for, which includes new gutters. They do those too! They may or may not be the lowest bidder, but they by far are worth the money!
