Recent Review: Brian was very nice and very helpful through the entire process of the quote and all of the work. He came out to look over everything to verify what the work entailed and explained everything in great detail. When they came to perform the installs, they got right to work and completed the both the dog door install and faucet install perfectly. They cleaned up after themselves and explained how to maintain both in the future. I am definetly going to be calling Brian again in the near future for some landscaping work and probably for a bathroom tub refurbish and some electrical work as well. He has a lot of talents working for him and they can do just about any job that requires some help, whether it is a dog door or a house remodel.

Recent Review: Joe replaced our master bedroom and staircase carpet with hardwood, and they look beautiful. He even returned a couple of times to assess the staircase planks and ensure they were remaining strongly in place. We had a large portion of our wall removed for some internal plumbing work, and Joe repaired it in such a way that we can't tell where the work was done. He also painted three rooms in our home and assisted us choose a high quality paint with the finish we wanted. In addition, Joe refurbished a brick sidewalk of ours that was deteriorating and painted a leak stain in our stomped ceiling. Finally, we wanted a special "cat door" completed for our elderly cats, and it turned out perfectly (the kitties love it and so does mommy). I highly recommend Joe for any job. He is extremely knowledgeable, honest, fair with his pricing, reliable and overall a nice and professional gentleman.

Recent Review: To make the long story short, the person who took the bid said that the job would be very hard, and suggested that it might be easier to do it myself. Right. We wrote up a contract on August 11th.  Moving on, he gave me a bid, and took a paint sample, and bid the job at $865.  The sales manager called me 10 days later to tell me that I needed to take a paint sample to Sherwin Williams and find out what the color was.  I did so, and bought a gallon of paint.  A long series of conversations ensued, with the sales manager finally picking up the gallon of paint from my home.  We made an appointment to have the door installed on September 20th.   I canceled a Dental appointment scheduled for the 20th so that I could be at home for the installation - I was desperate, I had been attempting to get a crown replaced for six months, but the dog and the carpet took priority.  The sales manager called on Monday to tell me that they couldn't install the door on Tuesday because it hadn't been painted.  A discussion continued, and eventually he agreed that they would pick the unpainted door up from the painter and install it on Tuesday, and I would paint the door myself.  I needed to have the door in place by the evening of the 23rd, as I would be away from home for long periods on the 23rd, 24th and 25th, and couldn't wait until the following week for the painted door to be installed.   The installer came on the 20th, installed the door properly.  The doggie door isn't as large as I would like, but it will do for now.  I paid the original agreed upon amount, which was $865, but still need to paint the door.  I appreciate that the door was installed before the 23rd, and give Dayton Door Sales a high score for professionalism.   I do feel that the entire experience took far too much of my time, and I'm not sure when I will have the time to paint the door....

AWizards With Tools
The "Wizards" do everything. I needed tack strips up to have the floors sanded--easily done. I wanted new baseboards--no problem. I had to have EVERYTHING in my house moved to the kitchen and garage before the sanding company arrived--done as if that's all they ever do. Can you help organize my out building and hang up some peg boards and hooks?--the building hasn't looked so good since it was first built! My garbage disposer broke and I had a new one to have put in--they just fixed the old one and I saved a hundred dollars! The "Wizards" arrive on time and just work as if they are driven. Two days of scheduled work grew into three days (thank goodness they had a day available since I kept adding jobs to be done) and they left my house empty and ready for floor sanding. The "Wizards" are returning for two more days in November. They will move everything back into my house, replace the old curtain rods, and do anything else that needs to be done. I asked them what they actually do and they said it was easier to list what they don't do--roofing and gutters. They do everything else! I can add that they do everything else very very well.
