Recent Review: I was very impressed with Ace Electrical. They were very professional. I will use them again and recommend them to my family and friends. They showed up when they said they would. They worked efficiently and were very polite. They were very thoughtful regarding my home, making sure they did not track dirt onto my carpet and sweeping up after they had finished working.

Recent Review: We hired G.R. Warden Construction to do the framing and electrical work as described above. We had lined up a different contractor for the finish work including the installation of drywall and the and quot;muddingand quot; of the drywall. But, on the day before Mr. Warden was due to arrive, the drywall person cancelled and suggested we have Warden do it. I called Mr. Warden and asked if he do do the additional work. He agreed, but indicated it may take some time for an appointment to open up as he was booked for the immediate future. I accepted that response. Mr. Warden and his assistant arrived for work the next day. on time, and did the framing and electrical work as expected. I have no qualms with the quality of his work. When he completed the work I asked about drywall work. He again told me that he could not do it immediately and would and quot;be in touchand quot; but gave no specific indication of when he could return. I offered to pay Mr. Warden for the time and materials on the work he had completed so far. He told me that it was not necessary. He said that I could pay him when he came back and completed the work. This suggested to me that it would only be a matter of days or perhaps a week or two until he could free up time to do the drywall job. That was the last time that I saw Mr. Warden. I contacted and spoke with Mr. Warden on the phone on the following dates. In each call he told me that he still did not have time to come back and would call me when he could. 4/26, 5/3, 5/9, 5/14This was now nearly a full month after the initial work had been performed. I received an invoice from Mr. Warden on about 6/22 dated 6/19. This was a full 5 weeks after our last converstation and 8-9 weeks after the work had begun. Mr. Warden did not call me nor notify me that the monies would now be due and that he would not be doing the drywall work. But, given the time that had gone by, I decided I could not count on Mr. Warden to fulfill his promise. I found someone else to do the drywall project. On July 6th I received a second invoice. This one was dated 7/5 and included 1.5% interest. This date was immediately following our area being hit by a tornado. I had incurred unexpected expenses related to the storm and my automobile. I made plans to pay the bill as soon as I received my next paycheck. On 7/13 Mr. Warden called me and asked me about the invoice. He was angry. I told him that I would pay him the following week when I got paid. I expressed my dissatisfaction with Mr. Warden's follow-through regarding the drywall and that I felt charging interest on these monies was inappropriate given that he had told me that it would not be due until he completed the drywall project. Mr. Warden was rude and unprofessional. He accused me of never having planned to pay the bill. He said he had and quot;done me a favorand quot; when he did the electrical work on top of the framing work. (I don't know where that complaint was rooted as the electrical work was always part of the work that Mr. Warden had been hired to perform). I ended the call saying I would pay him as soon as I had been paid which would be approximately one week. In summary, I found the quality of the work that Mr. Warden performed to be of excellent quality. But, his professionalism and customer service skills were well below par. He should not have agreed to do the drywall project if he was not going to make any real effort to come back. He certainly should not have treated me like a bum regarding payment after the lengthy delay that he had caused me. Incidentally, I delivered a certified check for the original amount the day after he called me. I did not pay the interest and I would not hire him again.

Recent Review: The work was not excellent, but good. The workers were dealing with internal power battles and aired them out to us. Sometimes we didn't know when they were coming, or how long they would be there. They didn't finish the work, some outlets were incomplete and pulled out of the wall the first time we tried to unplug something. There were things that were absolutely what we wanted, and some that left us really frustrated. We had plumbing problems that required calls to them to have them fix something they'd supposedly already fixed. When some leaking in the refinished downstairs occurred after the work was done, we were told that it was because of something on our part, not the work that they did. Even though they did not address our complaints about previous leaks before they finished the walls. It was not a complete disaster, just not the quality we hoped for.

AAce Electrical Services
Terry returned my call that day to see what issues I was having. He tried troubleshooting the problem with me over the phone to save me a service call even. He left it up to me whether I wanted him to look at it after hours or on the weekend as this was Fri. He finally decided to come that night and was there shortly after that. He checked the power on all my breakers with his meter reader which was good. Then he looked where the power lines connect to the house. Next he checked some of the outlets that had suddenly stopped working with his meter. We went back to the breaker box and he looked at the smaller breaker box next to my larger one. I had assumed it was for my A/C and hadn't looked at it. Terry did, and there was a breaker thrown. He reset it , checked some of the previously dead outlets and they were working fine! Turns out that breaker box has a GFS or (something like that) which is for the A/C as well as the rest of the house. He pointed out some issues with my breaker box that weren't up to code and told me that while it was safe, it should be something I consider fixing in the future. No high pressure, very professional and easy to work with. I had used him earlier in the spring to work on my pool pump's electrical issues after he was recommended to me, and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again or give him a recommendation
