Recent Review: I CALLED AND LEFT A MESSAGE AND WAS ABLE TO GET INTO DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE RECEPTIONIST "TONYA" ABOUT 1000 AM ON 1-2-2012. THEY WERE GOING TO GIVE ME A CALL AND LET ME KNOW WHEN SOME ONE WAS GOING TO COME TO THE HOUSE, GIVE ME A QUOTE AND POSSIBLY FIX THE PROBLEM. ABOUT 345 PM OR A BIT LATER THEIR TECH SHOWED UP WITHOUT A CALL AND BEGAN TO JUST FIX THE PROBLEM AFTER WE DISCUSSED THAT ALL OF THE ESTIMATES I RECEIVED FOR THIS WERE FROM THE $80-$100 RANGE. AFTER ABOUT AN HOUR THE WORK WAS COMPLETED. HE THEN TOOK A BREAK TO SMOKE AND CALLED THE OFFICE TO GET A TOTAL FOR MY BILL. HE CAME IN AND TOLD ME THAT MY BILL WAS A FEW CENTS SHY OF $209! I COULDN'T BELIEVE WHAT I HEARD AN I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH THE PERSON WHO DID THE BILLING. I CALLED BACK TO ALL AMERICAN ELECTRIC OF OHIO AND SPOKE AGAIN WITH TONYA AND I EXPLAINED TO HER THAT THERE WAS ONLY 1 HOUR OF WORK AND TROUBLE SHOOTING AND 40 MINUTES OF TOTAL DRIVE TIME. THEY DID REPLACE TWO LIGHT SWITCHES THAT SHOULD HAVE COST ABOUT $5 THRU LOWES OR MENARDS! I WAS TOLD BY TONYA THAT THEY COULD TAKE 1 HOUR OFF OF MY LABOR TIME BUT I STILL HAD A BILL OF $167! I ONCE AGAIN TOLD HER THAT THIS WAS FAR MORE THAN THE OTHER THREE QUOTES I RECEIVED AND SHE OFFERED TO HAVE THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY DAVID! AFTER ABOUT 45 MINUTES THE SHERIFF RANG MY DOOR BELL ASKING IF WE WERE THE ONES WHO CALLED FOR HIM! NEITHER MYSELF OR THE CONTRACTOR IN THE HOUSE EMPLOYED THRU ALL AMERICAN ELECTRIC OF OHIO KNEW ANYTHING! I CALLED THE MAIN OFFICE AND SPOKE WITH TONYA YET AGAIN AND ASKED HER IF SHE MADE THE FRAUDULENT PHONE CALL TO THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE CLAIMING THAT I HAD THE COMPANY'S TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT IN THE HOUSE AND WOULD NOT LET THEM HAVE THEM AND THAT I ALSO WAS REFUSING TO PAY THE BILL! SHE ADMITTED TO MAKING THE CALL THE WHOLE TIME BEING ON SPEAKER PHONE WITH BOTH THE POLICE OFFICER AND THE COMPANY EMPLOYEE STANDING BESIDE ME! I ONCE AGAIN ASKED WHY WOULD SHE CALL THE POLICE WHEN I HAD A BILLING DISPUTE WITH THE COMPANY AND I JUST WANTED TO SPEAK WITH THE OWNER ABOUT IT. I HAD BEEN TOLD AT THIS POINT THREE TIMES THAT SHE"TONYA" WOULD HAVE THE OWNER DAVID CALL ME! SOON AFTER THE EMPLOYEE CALLED DAVID ON HIS CELL PHONE AND HAD NOTHING TO OFFER AS A SOLUTION FOR THE SITUATION! I THEN RECEIVED THE PHONE NUMBER FOR DAVID FORM THE EMPLOYEE AND CALLED DAVID MYSELF ON SPEAKER PHONE SO THAT BOTH THE EMPLOYEE AND THE POLICE WERE ABLE TO HEAR THE CONVERSATION. I EXPLAINED TO THE OWNER EXACTLY THE TIME OF EVERYTHING THAT TOOK PLACE AND THE ITEMS USED AND THAT THE BILL WAS INCORRECT AND THAT HIS COMPANY CALLED THE POLICE FRAUDULENTLY ON ME AND ASKED FOR AN EXPLAINATION OF THE REASON WHY! I WAS TOLD HE HAD NO IDEA THAT THEY WERE CALLED AND WE BEGUN TO DISCUSS THE BILL. EVERYTIME I TOLD HIM ANYTHING LIKE MILAGE OR TIME HE FORCEFULLY ROUNDED UP. AN EXAMPLE IS THAT I TOLD HIM THAT THERE IS A 40 MINUTE DRIVE TIME AND ABOUT 15 MINUTES OF TROUBLE SHOOTING, ALSO THERE WERE 2 LIGHT SWITCHES USED AND AT $50 PER HOUR MY BILL SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABOUT $100 PLUS THE 2 SWITCHES AND 4 WIRE NUTS! I ASKED HIMIN WHAT WAY COULD THIS EVER REACH A $209 DOLLAR BILL. OF COURSE HE ADDED TIME TO THE DRIVE AFTER BOTH THE EMPLOYEE AND I MAP QWESTED IT AND AND HE TOLD ME THE 4 WIRE NUTS COST A COUPLE 2-3 DOLLARS AND THE SWITCHES WERE ABOUT $8 EACH. HE DID TELL THE EMPLOYEE THERE IF I WAS UNHAPPY OR FELT THE BILL WAS UNREASONABLE I COULD EITHER PAY THE BILL OR THE EMPLOYEE COULD REMOVE THE 2 SWITCHES AND 4 WIRE NUTS! I TOLD THE OWNER DAVID THAT THE EMPLOYEE COULD GLADLY TAKE THE SWITCHES AND NUTS AND I WOULD HAVE SOMEONE ELSE DO THE WORK! AT THAT POINT HE STARTED CALCULATING AND SAID WILL YOU SPLIT THE DIFFERENCE AND JUST PAY $140 AND CALL IT EVEN! I EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT I WOULD PAY THE MONEY BEING 7PM AND TO PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT I WOULD REPORT THIS TO THE BBB, ANGIES LIST, CRAIGSLIST AND OF COURSE THE LOCAL NEWSPAPER! ON THAT NOTE HE HUNG UP I WROTE A CHECK AND BOTH THE EMPLOYEE AND PLOICE OFFICER LEFT!  THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY I HAVE EVER DELT WITH AND TO HAVE THE NERVE TO CALL THE POLICE AND NOT EVEN GIVE THE PATRON A CHANCE TO QUESTION THEIR BILL! THEIR CHARGES WERE COMPLETLY UNREASONABLE AND THEIR TIME WAS OFF SO MUCH THAT THEY TRIED TO OVER CHARGE ME ABOUT ONE AND ONE HALF HOURS OF WORK! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Recent Review: We asked for an estimate for the work. Paul Kerr Jr. came to the house, did the estimate, and explained some basic options regarding how to connect the fans. I asked him if the work could be done the next week, he said that most likely it could be done. I requested that they send us a written estimate. For some reason, it took three working days for them to send us the estimate. Once we received the estimate, I called them the next day, talked with Paul Kerr Sr., agreed to have them do the work, and asked when they could do it. He said either later that week or early the next one. By Thursday the next week, they had not contacted us again. I called, and Paul Kerr Sr. told me that they were planning to come the next day (Friday). The next day, Paul Kerr Jr. and another person came. They did the work correctly and professionally. They also cleaned up after themselves. The only glitch was that at some point they said they would have to come back another day to finish because they did not have a switch they needed. I had actually bought one of those switches at Lowes already, so they used my switch and finished the job the same day. I was a little bit surprised by the slight delays in getting the estimate and in getting the work started, and also by the fact that finishing the work was going to be postponed because of missing a part that could be obtained just by a quick trip to Lowes. However I hear that electricians are usually very busy, and this kind of minor delay is not uncommon. The bottom line is that the work was done very well, and the cost I paid was reasonable for the work, and it was in fact exactly as in the estimate I was given in advance.

Recent Review: I called and left a message about what needed to be done.  Randy called me back personally within a few hours, gave me an estimate, and we set the appointment.  He called about 20 minutes before our scheduled time to say he was on his way.  He came on time and had the work completed quickly. The new fan and remote switch are working great!  I will definitely use Branhan Electric again for electrical work in my home and recommend him to my family and friends who need work done..  Great customer service!!
