Recent Review: On a visit to Colonial Gardens in the spring I noticed they had a waterfall display and inquired about having one installed. They were booked up to mid/late July. Ron came out in late June to view the area and get an idea of what I wanted and what would work in the designated space. On July 26 Ron and Kayla arrived around 10 AM and started digging and designing, it rained that day (good thing it did, Ron noticed all the rain water flowed to that area and that he would need to allow for drainage before building the stone wall), but they waited it out and continued to work. They returned the next day in hopes of completing the job, but it rained again so they had to come back the following Thursday to finish up with the plantings and mulching. I cannot say enough about how creative and professional Ron is and how hard working and neat both he and Kayla were. We are very happy with our pond-less waterfall and will enjoy it for many years to come.
He just works 2 or 3 days; he is retired. They are expensive, but their work is good. You have to work with the guys. They cover up and put mulch on your Iris, and Iris doesn't take mulch. I can't be with them all the time.

AJ MILLER LANDSCAPING
The service was excellent. They were very prompt. The workers are very professional and friendly. They did a good job and they cleaned up after themselves. What stood out the most is how neat everything looked. They have been doing work for us for twenty years.

I had other estimates done and their price was excellent. The quality of their work is great. I have used them a couple of times and I would use them again in the future if needed.

They are excellent and come periodically to do our lawn. We have almost two acres and it costs about $149 per treatment. They are quite good. We have had other people in the past and the price is excellent. No problems, and if we have a problem they come back free of charge. Their responsiveness is quick and very good. I now when they are coming and email to tell me when they are coming.

He did a really nice job and he was a really nice man. I talked to him and he was not the least bit backward or hard to deal with. He was a very nice person. He was a runner like my kids are. He was just a very nice person.

The leak in my pond was very difficult to find because the water loss was not detected. Todd very patiently tried a number of solutions to no avail. Then he bypassed my circulation system using a very large hose attached to my filter. By process of elimination he was able to find the leak and patch it. He was very easy to work with and is very knowledgeable with ponds. I highly recommend him.

They put down plywood, so as not to damage the yard. They were here all day, but it was a big job. They also had to put up with a crazy old lady (me) who was determined to save the honeybees that had made a hive in one of the trunks, about 18 feet off the ground. They were patient, understood my concerns, and did everything they could do to save those bees. The bees are now in a 5 foot section of trunk in my garden, waiting until spring when a beekeeper will come get them. They also cleaned up all the chunks of wood, sawdust and sticks on the ground, including some that were already there. They also filled in the divots made by falling branches and put grass seed on them. I can not say enough good things about George and Jake, the 2 arborists who cut down my tree. They were courteous, professional and pleasant. Davey (in Youngstown, Ohio) is very lucky to have them.

Prior to beginning a project Dale meets with us to ensure that we are all in agreement on the details. On occasion he has made recommendations for changing one of our original concepts which has invariably turned out to be a better idea. And when we have decided mid-project that we'd like to alter our plans, he has cheerfully compllied. His rates are very competitive and he is very flexible, professional, and friendly. He takes great pride in his work and it shows in his craftsmanship. We are quite flexible with timelines, due dates, etc., but we have had no problems with him finishing a project within a reasonable amount of time. Weather often dictates the schedule in his business. Mr. Gibson has a couple of regular assistants that help him with the work. Both of them are industrious, professional, and personable. We have had to leave our property on occasion for appointments and had no qualms about the integrity of our home and belongings while we were gone. We also have a story like the AngiesList ad where the plumber walks the woman's Papillion. My dad's Jack Russell often comes up to visit and "supervise" Mr. Gibson's work. When it looks like Peanuts might get in the way and get hurt, Mr. Gibson will pick Peanuts up and put her into our kennel. Our new Pomeranian rescue dog got loose recently, ran across the road, through the neighbor's yard into the next neighbor's yard, intent on some distant destination. One of Mr. Gibson's associates stopped what he was doing and helped us chase down and catch our little runaway.
